Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Describe the level of memory ability of biological Latin names of human motion system material in students who listened to murattal audio, (2) Determine the level of memory ability of biological Latin names of human motion system material of students who did not listen to murattal audio, (3). Analyze the influence of murattal audio on the memory of biological Latin names in the human motion system material. This research was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. This study involved 58 of 70 students consisting of 29 students in a control class and 29 students in an experimental class. They were selected by the purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a learning outcome test. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis which were preceded by prerequisite tests and then carried out by an independent sample t-test. The results showed that the memory ability of biological Latin names in the experimental class is higher than in the control class. Furthermore, the experimental class is in the high category, while the control class is in the medium category. Thus, it proves that the murattal audio of Al-Qur'an can improve students’ memory of biological Latin names. Research implications are also presented in this study.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad 21 menuntut keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi meliputi 4Cs (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity) yang dapat diupayakan melalui mengembangkan bahan ajar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Tujuan penelitian untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar Anatomi dan Fisiologi Tumbuhan berbasis mindmap. Proses pengembangan diadaptasi dari model pengembangan Plomp yang terdiri atas 5 fase yaitu; fase investigasi awal; fase desain; fase realisiasi/konstruksi; fase tes evaluasi, dan revisi; dan fase implementasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester Genap Tahun Akademik 2019/2020 dengan subjek penelitian mahasiwa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi UIN Alauddin Makassar semester Empat (IV). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar Anatomi dan Fisiologi Tumbuhan dinyatakan valid dengan rata-rata penilai 3,6 pada kategori sangat valid dan praktis dengan 92,25% responden memberikan respon positif dari keseluruhan item yang ditanyakan (100%). Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) mahasiswa khususnya mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran biologi berbasis kartu pasangan yang valid, praktis dan efektif pada sub materi  invertebrate di SMAN 6 Kab.Kepulauan Selayar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development R&D) dengan menggunakan model 4D yang terdiri atas 4 tahapan yaitu Pendefinisian(Define), Perancangan(Design),Pengembangan(Devalop), dan Penyebaran(Disseminate). Penelitian ini menggunakan subjek uji coba pada siswa kelas X SMAN 6 Kab. Kepulauan Selayar yang berjumlah 33 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen lembar validasi, angket respon siswa dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh tingkat kevalidan media kartu pasangan yaitu 3,38 yang berada pada kategori valid, tingkat kepraktisan media berada pada kategori positif dengan rata-rata penilaian 3,41 dan tingkt keefektifan media kartu pasangan berada pada kategori sangat efektif dengan ketuntasan 100% dengan hasil penilaian rata-rata88,96 dan dikatakan sangat efektif untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop a learning image puzzle media on human motion system materials in MTs Pesantren Laut Perak that was valid, practical, and effective. This four-D research and development study consist of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating stages. The subject of this study was 11 students from class VIII MTs Pesantren Laut Perak Pangkep Regency. The instruments used were the validation sheets, questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The results showed the practicality of the media was in a very valid category, with an average value of 3.93. The practicality level of the media was in the practical category, with an average response value of educators and learners of 3.42. The effectiveness of the media was in the category of very effective, with an average completion rate of 85.45%. It appears that the learning media for human motion system material images in MTs Pesantren Perak Pangkep Regency has met valid, practical, and effective criteria.
