Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the types of traditional medicinal plants in the Olat Cabe Forest Area of Batu Bangka Village, Moyo Hilir Subdistrict, Sumbawa Besar District. This type of research is explorative descriptive research. Descriptive research in this study was to reveal information about the types of traditional medicinal plants in the Olat Cabe Forest Area of Batu Bangka Village, Moyo Hilir Subdistrict, Sumbawa Besar District using the snowball sampling method. The approach used is a qualitative approach. The population in this study were all types of traditional medicinal plants found in the Olat Cabe Forest Area of Batu Bangka Village, Moyo Hilir Subdistrict, Sumbawa Besar District. While the samples in this study were traditional medicinal plants in the Olat Cabe Forest Area of Batu Bangka Village, Moyo Hilir Subdistrict, Sumbawa Besar District. Data collection techniques used are observation and interview. Data analysis techniques use univariate statistics such as mean, median, mode, standard deviation, and variance. The purpose of descriptive analysis is to find out the description or distribution of sample or population data. Descriptive analysis was chosen based on the measurement scale. For nominal and interval data, descriptive analysis techniques that can be done are only modes, while interval and ratio scale data can be done by all descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study identified 40 types of medicinal plants, from 25 families and 40 genus types of medicinal plants commonly used by the community.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the types and what medicinal plants are used by the people in Karang Pule Hamlet. Data retrieval in this study through two approaches, namely field research to get primary data and then enriched through secondary data. Primary data collection is carried out by involving the community through interviews with local community groups and individual members of the community. The selection criteria are based on the ability and practice of traditional medicine that conducted by informants. In collecting data, the interview technique used is open ended. This data collection technique is also used to explore knowledge systems about the diversity of traditional medicinal plant species, how to manage them, use them as well as to maintain the interest of the medical community using medicinal plants. Obtained types of medicinal plants that are used by the community in the Iron Pande Environment include Red Onion, Betel, Ginger, Castor Leaves, Guava, Turi Leaves, Lime, Sager, Banten, Kencur, Galangal, Turmeric, Cat Mustache, Horse Whip, Tongue Crocodile, Sondak / Pumpkin, Papaya, Blimbing, Cinnamon, Temulawak, Celery, Soursop Leaves, and Lemongrass. So, it can be concluded that medicinal plants can be beneficial to improve the health status of Karang Pule community.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: In Indonesia, especially in West Nusa Tenggara Province, precisely in Sumbawa Island, this okra plant is very rarely used as a main crop in the agricultural world, but only used as plants with intercropping system. This matter cause less knowledge of okra plant, whereas agriculture area of Sumbawa island is very suitable for the development of okra cultivation is also less utilized by the society around, because some of society not yet know other mamfaat from okra plant (Abelmoschus esculentus). Okra content includes carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins A, B, C. The purpose of this is to determine the effect of planting media on the growth of okra plants (A. esculentus) and To develop the results of research on the okra planting medium (A. esculentus) Local Sumbawa as the basis preparation of the Physiology Practicum Guidebook Book I. held in Pejeruk Bangkat. On the number of leaves there are significant results due to the treatment of planting media of soil rice husk capable of absorbing water and tying her water in the soil in considerable amounts. Based on the validation of practical instructions, then this lab manual is suitable for use as a practicum of plant physiology.

Abstract

Herbal plant was all kinds of plant while it is cultivated or not yet. It can used as herbal plants. The treatment used plant was long time ago done by our great grandfather since long time ago. It was to legacy with hereditary from generation to generation. To knew how much herbal plant was knew by communities in Batu Mekar Village, Lingsar, West Lombok  and viewed what kind of plant has merit  as medicine , so it needed to do a research activity knew kinds of herbal plants in Batu Mekar. This research was descriptive and explorative research used qualitative and quantitative  approach. With sampling technique was snow ball sampling. The data was collected by  interview with all shaman. The observation to field and documentation . the result of this research showed that the identification kinds of herbal plants in Batu Mekar wasvery kinds. It is found 43 kinds of merit herbal plants its can used for treatment all kinds of illness. The benefit of 43 kinds herbal plants used for treatment illness from small and big illness , and the benefit of all parts from that herbal plants with extraction one plant or mixed with other plant.

Abstract

Rhizobium in Legum plants can be used as a source of Nitrogen. The roots of Legum plant roots are roots that contain rhizobium bacteria as nitrogen fixing which can be used as a source of nitrogen growth. The purpose of this study was to determine the utilization of peanut root nodules (Arachis hypogaea) as a source of Nitrogen in the growth of cayenne pepper seeds (Capsicum frutescens). This research includes pure experimental research. The design used is a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Data collection techniques in this study used observation and documentation techniques. While the data analysis technique uses Anova One Way. This study consisted of J treatments namely P.Q (KQ11tml with 100% soil), PJ (1.5 grams of peanut root nodules), P.2 (3 grams of peanut root nodules) and repeated 4 times. The parameters observed in this study were plant height, number of leaves, and total leaf area.
