Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the types of traditional medicinal plants in the Olat Cabe Forest Area of Batu Bangka Village, Moyo Hilir Subdistrict, Sumbawa Besar District. This type of research is explorative descriptive research. Descriptive research in this study was to reveal information about the types of traditional medicinal plants in the Olat Cabe Forest Area of Batu Bangka Village, Moyo Hilir Subdistrict, Sumbawa Besar District using the snowball sampling method. The approach used is a qualitative approach. The population in this study were all types of traditional medicinal plants found in the Olat Cabe Forest Area of Batu Bangka Village, Moyo Hilir Subdistrict, Sumbawa Besar District. While the samples in this study were traditional medicinal plants in the Olat Cabe Forest Area of Batu Bangka Village, Moyo Hilir Subdistrict, Sumbawa Besar District. Data collection techniques used are observation and interview. Data analysis techniques use univariate statistics such as mean, median, mode, standard deviation, and variance. The purpose of descriptive analysis is to find out the description or distribution of sample or population data. Descriptive analysis was chosen based on the measurement scale. For nominal and interval data, descriptive analysis techniques that can be done are only modes, while interval and ratio scale data can be done by all descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study identified 40 types of medicinal plants, from 25 families and 40 genus types of medicinal plants commonly used by the community.

Abstract

Gastropoda included in the Mollusca phylum. Gastropoda are commonly found in watersheds. Jangkok River is a watershed that flows from the mountains of West Lombok Regency across Mataram City and interacts the most with human activities. This study aims to: 1) identify the type of Gastropoda found in the Jangkok River, Mataram City; and 2) developing research results on the diversity of Gastropod species in the Jangkok River in Mataram City as the basis for the Formulation of Ecology Practicum Guidelines. This type of research is exploratory descriptive research and development research. Descriptive research analyzes only to the level of description that is to analyze and present data systemically, so that it can be more easily understood and concluded, and exploratory research is a type of research that aims to find something new in the form of a grouping of symptoms, facts and certain diseases. While development research is an attempt to develop an effective product for use by schools and colleges, and not to test theory. Data collection techniques used for descriptive exploratory research are observation and documentation, while for development research are validation, legibility testing, and documentation. The data analysis technique was using species diversity index and percentage technique. The results showed that there were 51 Gastropod individuals consisting of 7 species that have been found including Potamopyrgus antipodarum, Mya arenaria, Ilyanasa aobsoleta, Pomacea canaliculata, Pomace ainsaluran, Poamarcobula amurensis, and Melanoides punctata. Species diversity at the upstream station has a very low diversity index with a value of 0, the middle station has a diversity index with a value of 0,91 indicating low diversity, and downstream stations have a diversity index with a value of 1,29 indicating moderate diversity. The average value of the validation test for practicum is 80,6%, and the readability test for students is 81%, with these results the practicum instructions that have been prepared are in the very valid category and do not need to be revised.

Abstract

Herbal plant was all kinds of plant while it is cultivated or not yet. It can used as herbal plants. The treatment used plant was long time ago done by our great grandfather since long time ago. It was to legacy with hereditary from generation to generation. To knew how much herbal plant was knew by communities in Batu Mekar Village, Lingsar, West Lombok  and viewed what kind of plant has merit  as medicine , so it needed to do a research activity knew kinds of herbal plants in Batu Mekar. This research was descriptive and explorative research used qualitative and quantitative  approach. With sampling technique was snow ball sampling. The data was collected by  interview with all shaman. The observation to field and documentation . the result of this research showed that the identification kinds of herbal plants in Batu Mekar wasvery kinds. It is found 43 kinds of merit herbal plants its can used for treatment all kinds of illness. The benefit of 43 kinds herbal plants used for treatment illness from small and big illness , and the benefit of all parts from that herbal plants with extraction one plant or mixed with other plant.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to obtain problem-based LKS product concept-assisted mapping and to determine the improvement of cognitive learning outcomes. This research will be based on biodiversity material in grade VIII junior high school. This research is a development research. Researchers use 4-D development type (Four D Model) which consists of 4 stages: definition stage, design stage, development stage and disseminate stage. But this research is only three stages, namely the definition (define), the planning stage (design), the development stage (develop). This is because the implementation of the disseminate stage requires a long process and time. While the quality of Student Worksheet (LKS) that will be described include LKS feasibility, LKS effectiveness in terms of student cognitive learning outcomes and LKS practicality in terms of student responses. The instrument used in this research is validation sheet to know the feasibility of LKS and questionnaire for student response. The data of students' cognitive learning achievement is obtained through pretest and posttest result. This LKS has practical and effective characteristics used in learning. The results showed that the development of LKS validation results from the content / material experts obtained an average score of 4, so that the LKS declared feasible. Post-test results show that the percentage of mastery is 87%, so the problem-based LKS on the subject of biodiversity can be said to be effective. While the developed LKS obtained a score of questionnaire responses of students of 3.11 so it can be concluded that LKS practical. So it can be concluded that the problem-based LKS assisted concept mapping developed feasible to use.
