Abstract

Coral reefs in the waters of West Sumatra are under threat. From a total of 21,486,989 hectares, it decreased by 75% or 16115.23 hectares in 2017. The aim of the researchers was to obtain changes in the area of ​​coral reefs from 2013, 2016 and 2019 in Pulau Setan, Kec. XI koto Tarusan Kab. Pesisir Selatan, knowing what are the causes of damage and changes in the location of coral reefs and finally knowing what should be done by the government and society. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data analysis technique used lyzenga analysis to find out how the distribution of coral reefs. The results showed that, 1 From the results of Lyzenga, it was found that in Satan Island, changes in the area of ​​coral reefs had decreased in area of ​​75561.996 m2 in a period of 6 years. 2 Some of the factors that cause the reduction and displacement of coral reefs are temperature and brightness, where the temperature is above normal limits, and brightness is limited to normal. Corals can move places due to sea waves. 3 There are several efforts that have been made by the community and government in terms of coral reef conservation. The first activity was carried out by the Marine Lantamal II Padang Battalion and the UBH Diving Proclaimer. The second activity was carried out by Suparno, Abdullah Munzir, and Kamila Suryani.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Dampak Pembangunan Infrastruktur Jalan Terhadap Pertumbuhan Usaha Ekonomi Rakyat Di Kecamatan Periaman Selatan. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1. Pendapatan sebelum dan sesudah pembangunan infrastruktur jalan, 2.apakah ada pembukaan usaha ekonomi baru setelah adanya perbaikan infrastruktur jalan. 3. Bagaimana kesejahteraan masyarakat setelah adanya perbaikan jalan yang ditinjau dari indikator masing-masing variabel. Metode penelitian ini mengunakan jenis penelitian mixed method perpaduan antara pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 35 orang pedagang di 3 (tiga) Desa yang ada di Kecamatan Pariaman Selatan, Desa Taluak, Desa Marunggi, Desa Pasir Sunur. Teknik penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah secara Total sampel atau semua sampel sebagai bahan untuk diteliti. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini dengan adanya peningkatan pendapatan setelah adanya pembangunan infrastruktur jalan, dan terbukanya pertumbuhan usaha ekonomi rakyat setelah adanya pembangunan infrastruktur jalan membuat perubahan pada tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat yang berada pada tingkatan keluarga sejahtera III.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the city of Padang Panjang which aims to determine the development of the area of ​​the built-up area in the City of Padang Panjang in 2009 and 2019, to determine the factors that influence the development of the built-in area and the direction of development in the area of ​​Padang Panjang City and to see the accuracy of Landsat 5 imagery. TM and Landsat 8 OLI / TIRS in identifying the built area of ​​Padang Panjang City. The method used in this research is descriptive with a quantitative approach and the data used are primary data and secondary data. The built area was obtained from Landsat 5 TM and Landsat 8 OLI imagery using the NDBI Alogarithm method. The results of the identification of land changes built from 2009 to 2019 show an additional area of ​​247.82 hectares and in 2019 an area of ​​305.08 hectares has increased to 57.26 hectares. Image accuracy test is performed using confusion matrix (comparison of image interpretation with field conditions) with an accuracy rate of 88.43%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Dampak Pembangunan Jalan Terhadap Pedagang Rumah Makan dan Warung Kecil di Kawasan Mandeh Koto XI Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1. Pola sebaran Rumah Makan dan Warung Kecil di Jalan Baru Sungai Pisang menuju kawasan Mandeh, 2. Jumlah Aset Rumah Makan dan Warung Kecil di Kawasan Mandeh sesudah pembangunan Jalan, 3. Jumla Biaya Produksi yang dikeluarkan Rumah Makan dan Warung Kecil sesudah pembangunan jalan, 4. Keuntungan atau Laba yang diperoleh Rumah Makan dan Warung Kecil sesudah pembangunan jalan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 11 Rumah Makan dan 70 Warung Kecil di Kawasan Mandeh Koto XI Tarusan Pesisir Selatan. Teknik penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Total Sampling atau semua sampel sebagai bahan untuk diteliti. Simpulan pada penelitian ini adalah didapatkan pola sebaran Rumah Makan di Kawasan Mandeh menyebar/random dan pola sebaran Warung Kecil adalah mengelompok/Clustered, persentase jumlah aset rumah makan tertinggi sebesar 46 persen dan warung kecil sebesar 46 persen, persentasse jumlah biaya produksi rumah makan tertinggi sebesar 64 persen dan warung kecil sebesar 99 persen, persentase jumlah keuntungan/laba rumah makan tertinggi sebesar 64 persen dan warung kecil sebesar 70 persen.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how the fastest route to the shelter in Painan City using Network Analysis as a reference for the results of the fastest route to the shelter. The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the distribution of tsunami prone zones in Painan City, (2) the availability of shelters in Painan City, (3) The fastest route to the shelter in tsunami disaster mitigation in Painan City. This type of research is a quantitative research with the steps of collecting data related to research from agencies related to this research. The data needed in this research such as disaster data, shelter availability data, and shelter capacity data are obtained at BPBD (Regional Disaster Management Agency) Painan City, while supporting data such as road data, slope data, population data are obtained from the PUPR Agency (Public Works and Spatial Planning) and BPS (Central Statistics Agency) of Painan City. The steps of this research are: (1) type of research, (2) population and sample, (3) location and time, (4) tools and materials, (5) data collection techniques, (6) data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that First Painan City is in an area with a high level of tsunami hazard. This is due to the geographical location of Painan City which is close to the coast, and Nagari which is at a high level of vulnerability are Nagari Painan Selatan, while Nagari Painan Utara and Nagari Painan Timur. being at a sedentary and low tsunami hazard level, both Painan City have eight shelters available. It consists of three natural shelters and five artificial shelters with a capacity of 29,000 people. Meanwhile, based on data from BPS IV Jurai in 2020, the population of Painan City is 16589 people, so it can be concluded that the availability of shelters and shelter capacity in Painan City is sufficient to accommodate the people of Painan City. The third fastest route in tsunami disaster mitigation in Painan City, there are several shelters that are dominant to be used as shelters. This can be seen based on the results of the Network Analysis that get the closest shelter by the community, namely the Regent's Office, SMPN 1 Painan and the Baiturahman Mosque. Meanwhile, other shelters can be used as alternative shelters if the dominant shelter is full.

Abstract

The aims of research are (1) to know land use change of settlements area in Kuranji for 2007 to 2016, (2) the pattern of settlements in Kuranji, (3) the influence of population growth on the development of area of settlements. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative by using land use map of 2007 and 2016, population data of 2007 and 2016. The analysis techniques that used are the overlay of map land use at 2007-2016, nearest neighbor analysis, linear regression analysis. Based on the research show that : (1) land use change of settlements area are 226,56 hectares. Kuranji is the highest settlement of land developments. Those are 58,28 hectares (25,72%) and Anduring is the lowest settlement of land developments. Those are 9,47 hectares (4,18%). (2) Based on the nearest neighbor analysis obtained value of T=0,93 (2007) and T=0.95 (2016). They mean the pattern of settlements in Kuranji including random. (3) population growth influence to the development of settlements.Those are 47,9%.

Abstract

Bertambahnya jumlah penduduk mengakibatkan semakin meningkatnya pemukiman, berkembangnya pusat perdagangan dan industri serta sarana dan prasarana untuk menunjang aktivitas penduduk. Perubahan tutupan lahan ini didorong oleh kabutuhan untuk menyediakan makanan, air dan tempat untuk lebih dari 7 milyar penduduk dunia saat ini. Akibat proses urbanisasi yang masif, terjadi perubahan landskap yang tidak dapat dihindari. Perubahan dari vegetasi menjadi lahan terbangun, dapat mempengaruhi distribusi spasial suhu permukaan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari perubahan tutupan lahan terhadap distribusi suhu permukaan yang terjadi di Kota Jambi.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan sistem penginderaan jauh dapat digunakan untuk menghitung perubahan luasan tutupan lahan, dan distribusi suhu permukaan Kota Jambi tahun 2009, 2014 dan 2019. Pada penelitian ini, analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan sensor termal citra Landsat 7 ETM+ tahun 2009 dan Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS tahun 2014 dan 2019. Perubahan tutupan lahan di analisis dengan melakukan klasifikasi pada citra satelit landsat dan suhu permukaan didapat dari pengolahan kanal inframerah termal citra satelit Landsat yang kemudian di analisis dengan menggunakan Land Surface Temperature (LST). Selanjutnya nilai perubahan tutupan lahan dan nilai suhu permukaan diuji nilai korelasinya dengan regresi sederhana untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya. Hasil analisis regresi linier menunjukkan bahwa lahan terbangun mempengaruhi suhu permukaan. Hubungan antara variabel X terhadap Y memiliki hubungan yang kuat Nilai R Square hasil regresi linear antara lahan terbangun dengan suhu permukaan yaitu 0,626 yang korelasi positif. Urban heat island yang terjadi di Kota Jambi dibuktikan dengan suhu permukaan rata-rata yang turun dari daerah pusat kota ke pinggiran kota.

Abstract

Mandeh Tourism Area is one of the conservation centers of small and outermost islands, especially in western Indonesia and a marine ecotourism destination that is mostly visited by tourists. In order for this area to remain sustainable and stable in the use of it’s islands, it is necessary to control and assess the area. The objective study is (1) to determine the suitability of the location and carrying capacity of Mandeh Tourism Area (2) to determine the analysis of the suitability on the location and carrying capacity of Mandeh Tourism Area. This study uses survey methods and weighting of scores to calculate the carrying capacity of the region to maintain the stability the island. The results obtained indicate that the condition of Mandeh Tourism Area is still in good condition, both in terms of characteristics of tourism resources, hydro oceanographic parameters, beach morphology and the condition of the quality of the marine waters in the Mandeh Tourism Area. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that (1) the condition of the waters in Sutan Island is still good to support a variety of marine ecotourism activities beach recreation of the class category very much in accordance with the percentage of 91.8%, according to the percentage of 80.1 %, according to conditional with a percentage of 61.52%, Swin tourism with class category is very suitable with percentage 89.2% and according to percentage 75.7%. Classified water park attraction tourism are very suitable with a percentage of 96.0%. The carrying capacity of the area for tourism activities in the beach recreation category is 9 people/day, the swimming category is 458 people/day , and the water park attraction tourism is 760 people/day. (2) The condition of the waters of Traju Island is quite good in supporting a variety of marine ecotourism activities beach recreation activities in the class category according to the percentage of 69.86% and according to conditional with a percentage of 55.7%, Swimming tourism with class categories according to the percentage of 69.32%, Water park attraction tourism in the class category is very suitable with a percentage of 93.74%. The carrying capacity of the area for tourism activities in the beach recreation category is 7 people/day, swimming category is 216 people/day, the water park attraction tourism is 102 people/day. (3) The condition of the waters of Cubadak Island (Kapo-kapo) is very supportive in a variety of marine ecotourism activities beach recreation activities class category is very suitable with a percentage of 90.3%, Swimming tourism class category is very in accordance with the percentage of 85.13 %, Water park attraction tourism class category very much in accordance with the percentage of 93.74% and Cubadak Island tourism in the class category very much in accordance with the percentage of 67.8%. The carrying capacity of the area fot tourism activities in the beach recreation category is 16 people/day, swimming category is 1,300 people/day, water park attraction tourism os 1,810 people/day and mangrove tourism is 2,915 people/day.
