Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik individu terhadap kinerja karyawan, lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan, motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan, kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan secara parsial dan simultan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan tetap PT. Matahari Departement Store Nagoya Hill Batam sebanyak 198 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin berjumlah 132 responden. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuisioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Pengujian data dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: karakteristik individu berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, iklim organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, kompensasi berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan karakteristik individu, lingkungan kerja, iklim organisasi, motivasi dan kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan merupakan faktor yang sangat penting dalam organisasi, karena kinerja karyawan menentukan kinerja organisasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik individu terhadap kinerja karyawan, lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan, motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan, kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan tetap PT. Matahari Departement Store Nagoya Hill Batam 198 orang. Abstract

Optimal employee performance will be based on a quality organizational culture, providing impact and contributing to the organization to achieve its goals. The purpose of this study is to answer how organizational culture impacts employee performance, what are the various research designs used for employee performance, what instruments are used by researchers to measure employee performance, and what are the data analysis techniques used by researchers to analyze employee performance. Some of the research results contained in this article are using questionnaires in collecting data, with a quantitative research approach, and have target research objects of private employees, government employees, and educational institutions. The results of the study indicate that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and has an impact on the organization to maximize the company's goals and achievements.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the efficiency and productivity of freshwater fish farming in former tin mining pits through the socialization and training on the use of Internet of Things (IoT)-based automatic feeding machines. The activity was carried out in Bangka Regency and involved 20 local fish farmers who had previously relied on manual feeding methods. The program began with an introduction to the concept and benefits of IoT technology in the fisheries sector, followed by theoretical training and hands-on practice using the automatic feeding machine, as well as an evaluation of the training outcomes through pre-tests and post-tests. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of IoT technology, with an average improvement of 87%, rising from 13% prior to the training. Participants also demonstrated better comprehension of how the automatic machine works and enhanced their ability to operate it independently. The IoT-based automatic feeding machine has proven effective in increasing time efficiency, reducing feed waste, and enabling remote monitoring via mobile devices. This community service initiative is expected to be a starting point for technological transformation in aquaculture practices in post-mining areas, moving towards a more modern, productive, and sustainable system.

Abstract

Unemployment is an important issue in the economy, especially in Bangka Belitung Province which faces challenges in absorbing high school graduates into the job market. This analysis aims to evaluate the influence of the workforce and labor force on the unemployment rate in the area. This study uses secondary data analyzed using the multiple regression method through SPSS software. The variables analyzed include the workforce and labor force as independent variables, with the unemployment rate as the dependent variable. The t-test is used to test the significance of the influence of each independent variable, while the F-test is used to evaluate the overall significance of the regression model. The determination test (R²) is applied to assess how much of the variation in the unemployment rate can be explained by the model. The results of the t-test indicate that the workforce and labor force each have a significant influence on the unemployment rate. A positive coefficient for the workforce indicates that an increase in the workforce is associated with an increase in the unemployment rate, while a coefficient for the labor force indicates that an increase in the labor force is associated with a decrease in the unemployment rate. The F-test shows that the multiple regression model as a whole is significant in explaining the variation in the unemployment rate. The R² value indicates that this model can explain most of the variation in the unemployment rate
