Abstract

This research was to find (1) influence of social network by a motivation on student’s achievement in computer and management information subject (2) the influence of school environment by a motivation on student’s achievement in computer and management information subject (3) the influence of motivation on student’s achievement in computer and management information subject (4) the influence of social network and school environment by a motivation which was involved with student’s achievement on Computer and Management Information subject. The research was held on vocational high school in North Samarinda. The respondents research were from the sample of students is 100 students. Data collecting technique used assessment scale and student’s achievement on computer and management information subject. Data analysis technique were used path analysis. Data were analyzed by using SPSS. The researcher found that (1) there was influence between social network (X1) by a motivation (X3) on student achievement (Y) the presentage is 34,9% ρx3x1 value it had significant relationship. (2) there was influence between school environment (X2) by a motivation (X3) on student achievement (Y) the presentage is 35,4% ρx3x2 value it had significant relationship. (3) there was influence between a motivation (X3) on student achievement (Y) the presentage is 22,5% ρx3 value it had significant relationship. (4) there was influence between of social network and school environment by a motivation  with student’s achievement on Computer and Management Information subject the presentage is 85% R-square value and it had significant relationship. Based on the calculation and analysis can be made the conclusion, there is influence between of social network and school environment by a motivation had strong effect on the student’ achievement on Computer and Management Information subject on vocational high school in North Samarinda.  Keywords: Social Network, School Environment, Motivation, Student Achievement.

Abstract

Writing skills is one of the skills in language that needs to be developed and improved as a means of written communication. Writing should be done effectively and efficiently as writing is a productive and expressive activity. Improving writing skills needs to be done not only by using various approaches, strategies, and learning models, but also using appropriate and appropriate media. In this case, the teacher as a facilitator plays an important role to be able to choose the learning media in accordance with the learning ability of writing poetry. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is planned in 2 cycles. Each cycle is held in 3 meetings and carried out in accordance with the learning objectives to be achieved that is achieve learning mastery and by using media based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The type of this research is classroom action research and that will be the subject of research is the students of class III B SDN 005 Awang Long Samarinda with the number of students as many as 28 people. Data obtained through observation during the learning process takes place with the test at the end of the cycle, activity and motivation of students during the learning process takes place.        The results of the data show the average value of student learning outcomes to the cycle. From the baseline value (initial condition value) obtained through the final test of observation done without the students is subjected to the action that is the average value of class 60, 53. From the average value of the initial condition increased in cycle I is 65.00. From cycle I to cycle II there is an increase in the activity and motivation of students, the value of learning results obtained from 65.00 to 79.10. The results showed that the use of media based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can improve the learning achievement of Bahasa Indonesia teaching materials to write poetry students of class III B SDN 005 Awang Long Samarinda.

Abstract

This research is based on the students' lack of understanding about the properties of light. This research uses classroom action research (PTK), the research procedure used is, planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research is conducted II The cycle each cycle consists of two meetings. The problems in cycle I are followed up in the next cycleThe purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of science by using experimental method, VA class students in SDN 024 North Samarinda. Subject of this research is student of class of SD SDN 024 North Samarinda while object of this research is Experiment Method.                The results of data analysis in this study proves that the results of learning properties of light by using the Experimental Method has increased from the average pre cycle value of 60 with percentage of 40.4% of students who complete then experience an increase in Cycle I ie the average value to 70 , 3 with the percentage of learning mastery 54,7% and Cycle II increased again with the average value 89,7 with 100% completeness study percentage. The conclusion of this research is that the improvement of learning result of the properties of light using Experimental Method has a good improvement from cycle I and cycle II with very good category.Keywords: Experimental Method and Science Study Results

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of Islamic character education through short hadits at Muhamadiyah 5 Elementary School in Samarinda. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Instrument in this study is the researcher himself. The data collection techniques used include observation, interviews and documentationThe results of the study show that (1) primary schools are the second socialization environment for children to learn to interact with their peers and with adults. From this interaction the child experiences various kinds of positive and negative knowledge and behavior. Experience and behavior that children get when interacting at school will be more and varied than the experiences and behaviors they receive at home. In this case the school optimizes children's Islamic moral and values development through short hadiths taught by the teacher in teaching and learning activities as an effort to instill Islamic character in children by introducing short hadist on children (2) Short hadist introduced are short hadist simple and easy to memorize, among others, hadist relating to cleanliness, hadist prohibited from eating and drinking while standing, hadist about honesty, hadist about hygiene and others. (3) The introduction of a short hadist from an early age makes students more polite in behaving and appreciating people in their environment.  Keywords: Islamic Character Education & Short Hadist
