Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat yang di fokuskan pada guru pendidik anak usia dini berupa pemanfaatkan limbah kulit jagung sebagai upaya meningkatkan potensi dan daya guna hasil pertanian lingkungan Kecamatan Kamal Kabupaten Bangkalan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini merupakan metode pemberian materi dan demonstrasi. Karakteristik pendidik anak usia dinin Kecamatan Kamal sebagian besar masih tenaga honorer dengan gaji masih di bawah rata-tara, adanya pelatihan ini digunakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pemanfaatkan limbah kulit jagung atau kelobot jagung sebagai bahan baku kerajinan hantaran pengantin yang memiliki nilai jual dan salah satu peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat.Abstract: The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge and training to the community which is focused on early childhood educators in the form of utilizing corn husk waste as an effort to increase the potential and usability of environmental agricultural products, Kamal District, Bangkalan Regency. The method used in this activity is a method of giving material and demonstrations. The characteristics of early childhood educators in Kamal District are mostly still temporary workers with salaries still below average, this training is used to increase knowledge about the utilization of corn husk waste or corn husks as raw materials for bridal delivery crafts which have a sale value and one of the improvements community economy.

Abstract

This study discusses the altruistic behavior of the character Kiai Moko in “Legenda Api Tak Kunjung Padam” (The Legend of the Never-Ending Fire) set in the Pamekasan Regency using a qualitative descriptive method. The purpose of this study is to describe the altruism of the character Kiai Moko based on Einsberg dan Mussen' theory of altruism. Data collection techniques used literature review, reading, and note-taking. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the study, it was found that the character Kiai Moko represented altruistic behavior in the storyline. This behavior was manifested through three aspects, namely paying attention, helping others, and putting others first. These findings show that Kiai Moko, as one of the legendary figures in Pamekasan, represents an altruistic character that reflects a personality worthy of emulation and should be passed down from generation to generation as a means of character education. In addition, this reflection can also be used as a characteristic of the identity of the people of Pamekasan.
