Abstract

Cervical cancer can be prevented using early detection. One method of early detection that is suitable for developing countries like Indonesia is to use the Acetic Acid Visual Inspection (IVA) method. Cervical cancer can actually be prevented using primary prevention such as increasing or intensifying outreach activities in the community by adopting a healthy lifestyle, avoiding risk factors for getting cancer. Immunization uses the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine and follows early recognition of cervical cancer by carrying out pap smears or visual pain using acetic acid (Vetricia Zach, 2018). Currently the scope of cervical cancer detection in Indonesia through pap smears and IVA is still very low low, approximately 5%, whereas the coverage of early detection is effective in inhibiting morbidity and mortality due to cervical cancer, which is 85% (Saslow, et al, 2015). IVA is a screening test for cervical cancer using 3-5% acetic acid in an inspector and can be reviewed exclusively (WHO, 2018). according to the results of the diagnostic test, IVA examination had a sensitivity of 84%, a specificity of 89%, a positive predictive value of 87%, a negative predictive value of 88. for a Pap smear examination, a sensitivity of 55%, a specificity of 90%, a positive predictive value of 84%, a negative predictive value of 69 %, from what will happen earlier, it can be concluded that the IVA examination is faster, it gives high sensitivity results (Septadina, 2015). IVA is a simple and inexpensive screening method so that cervical cancer can be detected early (Rasjidi, 2015).

Abstract

Stroke sufferers generally experience motor disorders, where the most typical symptom is damage or death of brain tissue which can cause symptoms of disability in the form of hemiparesis of limbs or weakness of extremity muscles which can cause limitations in mobilization. The intervention given can be in the form of range of motion exercises using mirror therapy (mirror therapy) to increase muscle strength by including the perception of visual illusions to increase the movement of limbs experiencing hemiparesis. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mirror therapy on muscle strength in non hemorrhagic stroke patients. This research method uses a quasi experiment with a one group pre test post test research design. The population is all non hemorrhagic stroke patients at Sembiring General Hospital with a sampling technique using purposive sampling obtained as many as 11 respondents. The research instrument used observation sheets and SOPs. Analysis test using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test obtained p value = 0.003 (p <0.05). Conclusion: there is an effect of mirror therapy on muscle strength in non hemorrhagic stroke patients so that it can be considered as one of the treatment measures to improve motor function and increase muscle strength in non hemorrhagic stroke patients.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is an abbreviation for TB, which is a disease caused by Mycobacteria tuberculosis which attacks the lungs and can infect other people through small particles released when sneezing or coughing. Symptoms may include a productive cough lasting 21 days, fever, shortness of breath, chest pain accompanied by coughing up blood, weight loss, and no appetite for inefficient airway clearance in tuberculosis patients caused by an ineffective cough. This will cause blockages over time. If not treated immediately, problems with clearing the airway will result in continuous coughing, shortness of breath, and secretions that accumulate in the respiratory tract. One treatment to clear the airways is to use deep breathing relaxation therapy. Deep breathing relaxation therapy involves breathing into the abdomen at a slow, rhythmic, and comfortable pace while closing your eyes while inhaling. The effect of this therapy is to divert or divert attention.
