Abstract

Autis merupakan gangguan perkembangan anak yang mengganggu komunikasi, interaksi social dan gangguan perilaku. Departemen Kesehatan memperkirakan bahwa ada antara 150.000 dan 200.000 anak autis di Indonesia. Dengan potensi D.I Yogyakarta sebagai tempat dengan jumlah penderita autis yang cukup besar. Di Yogyakarta, penderita autis belum terfasilitasi oleh bangunan terapi secara terpadu. Perilaku khusus anak autis yang berlebihan dan berkekurangan membutuhkan pengarahan untuk menyalurkan dan mengekspresikan perilaku mereka dengan terapi bermusik. Musik merupakan kegiatan terapi yang rutin dilakukan dan banyak menarik minat anak. Melalui metode survey lapangan dan observasi partisipatif, peta perilaku mereka mengindikasikan ketertarikan anak saat mengekspresikan kegiatan bermusik. Perilaku anak autis yang berlebihan dan cenderung membahayakan serta perilaku anak berkekurangan yang memerlukan stimulasi meningkatkan respon mereka terhadap suatu hal. Temuan karateristik perilaku mereka yang dijadikan landasan analisis dalam memformulasikan konsep rancangan pusat pendidikan dan terapi yang diaplikasikan pada rancangan ampiteater dengan sisi yang dapat memantulkan bunyi karena adanya kemiringan disatu sisi untuk mencegah suara bising keluar dari ruang bermusik outdoor. Serta studio musik dan ruang audio visual pada wilayah indoor yang menerapkan akustik ruang sesuai dengan volume suara yang dihasilkan saat bermusik.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Autism is a development disorder in child that interferes with communication, social interaction and behavioral disorders. The Ministry of Health estimates autistic children in Indonesia between 150.000 and 200.000. Potential of D.I Yogyakarta as a place with a large number of autistic patients. In Yogyakarta, autism have not facilitated by an integrated building therapy. Autistic children's special behavior that is excessive and deficient requires direction to channel and express their behavior with music therapy. Music is a activity therapy routinely carried out and attracts a lot with interest children's. Through field survey methods and participatory observation, their behavior maps indicate children's interest in expressing musical activities. The behavior of autistic children that is excessive and tends to be harmful and the behavior of children with disabilities that require stimulation increase their response to something. The findings of their behavioral characteristics are used as the basis for analysis in formulating the concept of an education and therapy center design which is applied to the design of an amphitheater with a side that can reflect sound due to a slope on one side to prevent noise from coming out of the outdoor music room. As well as a music studio and audio-visual room in the indoor area that applies room acoustics according to the volume of sound produced when making music.

Abstract

The degradation of life due to the COVID-19 pandemic, whether physiological, psychological and economic, requires a comprehensive thought on community resilience according to the capacity and context. The placemaking experiences in The Maguwoharjo International Stadium (MIS) area indicates a positive community response through sports, recreation, and informal businesses than enliven the area. This study aims to strategies for reinventing existing activities using a placemaking approach, specifically through three variables, the Person, Procedures and Place. The hope is that when the MIS area is designed and developed as a Tourism Special Economic Zone (SEZ), these actors remain included a development stakeholder. This study using qualitative descriptive methods and categorized into primary and secondary activities in public spaces. The results highlight three points: alignment of MIS with MICE-based tourism policy, the importance of placemaking for physical resilience and informal business, and the need for landscape element to mitigate pollutants.
