Abstract

This study aims to build the resilience of coastal women from the threat of HIV / AIDS spreading by using the social capital base as the media. Social capital has very important role forthe life of coastal women. Social capital is built by trust among individuals who interacts oneanother. Mutual trust is established for short time and requires tortuous social processes. The typesof social capital can be understood as follows: first, social networks, voluntary private networks;second, civic engagement and participation and the use of civil networks; third, the identity oflocal citizenship - sense of belonging, solidarity and equality with members of community groups;fourth, the principle of reciprocity and the value of cooperation or collaboration, the sense of dutyto help others and self confidence when accompanying, and; fifth, trust in the community. The type of this study is ethnographic research, that is research that tries to find out, toreveal and to explain cultural behavior of society or community in certain place in detail anddepth. This study uses macth method approach, namely approach method which combinesqualitative and quantitative data. The excavation of qualitative data is done by inclusionobservation and in-depth interview on the informant while the quantitative data is obtained byspreading questionaires on respondent and recording as well as literature study. This researchapproach model is intended to explore qualitative data supported by quantitative data so it enablesto get in depth and detail description of the resilience of coastal women to HIV / AIDS based onsocial capital. This study will be carried out for two years. The first year of research will identifyand map the local social potential of coastal communities in the south of Jember regency. Thesecond year of research activity formulate how the potential of the social capital can be used asmedia of resilience in preventing the spread of HIV / AIDS among coastal women who are said tobe vulnerable groups.Keywords: model, coastal women, HIV/ AIDS, social capital, local

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of project based learning in the learning evaluation course for students of the History Education Study Program at Universitas PGRI Argopuro Jember. Focus of his research is on the form of implementation of project based learning in learning evaluation courses, the results of implementing project based learning and student learning activities, as well as student responses regarding project based learning. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive method and determining informants with purposive sampling technique. That is, the data obtained in this study is presented in the form of written words from the observed object and has been determined. Data collection techniques are in the form of observation sheets and interviews. the results of the research are as follows: a) the form of implementing project based learning for students in the form of observation, interview and documentation assignments in 12 school locations in Jember Regency; b) implementation results show data on 12 schools from various levels of education along with their curricula. Student learning activities have increased with the acquisition of new skills and experiences after the activity; c) Students learning activities also showed positive changes, with various new experiences and skills gained during the activity. This is reflected in the table of student learning activity evaluation results, with an average score of 29.3 per group and a percentage of 91.61%. the implementation of project based learning received a good response from students to be reapplied to other courses

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam pembelajaran sejarah akulturasi budaya siswa kelas X MA Bustanul Ulum 03 Puger. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek guru sejarah dan siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk memperkuat data aktivitas siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan PjBL, digunakan pula analisis deskriptif kuantitatif sederhana dengan rumus persentase menurut (Arikunto, 2014).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PjBL meningkatkan aktivitas siswa pada aspek bertanya, berdiskusi, bekerja sama, dan antusiasme. Melalui proyek, siswa mampu memahami bentuk-bentuk akulturasi budaya seperti masjid peninggalan abad ke-18, upacara petik laut, seni hadrah, dan makam kuno wali, meskipun pembelajaran dilakukan melalui media gambar dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dengan guru dan siswa juga menguatkan bahwa PjBL menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menarik, meskipun masih terdapat kendala waktu dan fasilitas. Analisis persentase memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan keterlibatan siswa lebih dari 40% setelah penerapan PjBL.Dengan demikian, implementasi PjBL terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep sejarah akulturasi budaya sekaligus mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa. Abstract

This research aims to find out and understand the P5 (Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project) activities in the Independent Curriculum implemented at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Rambipuji, especially in learning history with the theme of local wisdom that focuses on the history of tobacco at the Jember Museum. The implementation of P5 is one of the components of the character development project of Indonesian students which aims to transfer Pancasila values, so that the goal of implementing P5 in the Independent Curriculum can be achieved, namely positioning students as Pancasila learners. This study uses a qualitative descriptive methodology. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews involving history teachers and students, visits to museums and documentation. The results of the study show that visits to tobacco museums have a significant positive impact on history learning. A visit to the museum not only enriches the students' learning experience but also enhances their knowledge of the history and culture of the region, ultimately helping them grow as Pancasila students and build their identity.
