Abstract

In many condition of potatoes storage made extra observation. Potatoes condition like defect, placement, dan typical storage had effect on potatoes durability. This instrument to help observation of potatoes when places on storage, with real time record model made the changes condition of potatoes can be observed anytime. Serial asyncronous communication mode made data transfer between microcontroller with personal computer where the data storage had been saved on PC database. This model hopefully help farmer to observe potatoes condition on climate changes. The ideal condition of potatoes is 40C for temperature and 75-90% RH for humidity. So we have set point on stability of media. Abstract

Electrical power consumption monitoring, mainly at business properties in urban areas that have one line power supply distribution at many area rent, had the problem of the bill electric consumption on the tenant. The places like dormitories, food court, futsal field, pets day care etc. had problems, where the node had more electrical consumption operationally, so we implemented IoT monitoring and control at  electrical device and electrical consumption report. The method to implement this system is using IoT protocol communication and firebase cloud data as a third party database application that is accessed by an android mobile phone. The systems of our research is infrastructure IoT mobile communication that can be controlled and adjusted by firebase cloud and can activate the device by MCU microcontroller ESP wifi that Based to monitor and record activity that had controlled by mobile phone. All data activity has to be processed and saved to the firebase data cloud, so the system depends on internet communication and an active firebase server. So the result of our research is to report activity and bill of electrical consumption every node that had rented.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a website-based e-archive information system by applying the Advance Encryption Standard (AES) method at the Surabaya City Food Security and Agriculture Office (DKPP). The research method uses a waterfall model which consists of the stages of needs analysis, system design, system development, system testing, system implementation, system maintenance, and system evaluation. The e-archive information system is designed to overcome the problem of conventional archive management at DKPP Surabaya which is considered less efficient. The results of the research are in the form of a website-based e-archive information system that facilitates the process of archiving, storing, searching, and downloading archive data for DKPP Surabaya employees. The information system has been tested using blackbox testing to ensure system functionality in accordance with specifications and user needs. This research is expected to increase effectiveness and efficiency in archive management at DKPP Surabaya City. The documents stored in the system are secured using a document security method with the Advance Encryption Standard (AES) method, so that archive data remains secure as long as it is stored and transmitted over the network.The final results of testing this application obtained the results of the encryption process on average document size 1148.977 KB, length of process time 0.19535 seconds and the results of the decryption process on average document size 646.177 KB, length of process time 0.19535 seconds.

Abstract

Hydroponic systems require precise control over nutrient levels and water flow to ensure optimal plant growth. Manual management is still widely used, which often leads to imprecise nutrient delivery, water wastage, and inefficiency. This study aims to develop an intelligent system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and fuzzy logic to automatically regulate pH and TDS levels in a Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) hydroponic setup. The methodology includes the integration of pH, TDS, ultrasonic, and flow sensors with an ESP32 microcontroller and the Blynk application. Sensor data is processed using fuzzy logic to produce outputs in the form of liquid volume (liters) and pump activation duration (seconds). The system is designed to control pH UP/DOWN and fertilizer pumps are automatically based on the delta and error values of the measured parameters. Implementation results indicate that the system effectively maintains nutrient stability and reduces water and fertilizer wastage. Additionally, it enables real-time remote monitoring via a mobile application. Therefore, this intelligent system offers an efficient and adaptive solution for supporting sustainable hydroponic farming.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based control system to support the maintenance of Anubias Nana plants in an aquascape environment. The system is designed to simplify aquascape care, which often faces challenges in maintaining plant health, particularly amid users’ busy routines and limited understanding of plant needs. This system integrates a pH sensor and a DS18B20 temperature sensor to monitor environmental conditions in real-time. Nutrient solution is dispensed using a peristaltic pump based on a predefined schedule managed by an RTC module, while additional peristaltic pumps are used to regulate the pH level. The aquarium heater and cooling fan are automatically controlled based on sensor data, while the LED lighting is scheduled using the RTC to maintain consistent illumination within the aquascape. The research began with the design of both hardware and software components to optimize environmental parameter settings. This system offers an innovative solution for aquascape users to maintain plant health over the long term while improving maintenance time efficiency. With the implementation of IoT technology, aquascape users can enjoy a more practical and efficient maintenance experience without losing control over their aquascape's environmental conditions. This research is also expected to serve as a reference for future developments in automated aquascape plant care systems.
