Abstract

Covid-19 merupakan virus yang meresahkan dunia hingga saat ini. Berbagai belahan dunia telah merasakan dampak dari adanya serangan virus ini. Satu hal yang perlu kita waspadai bersama adalah bahwa virus ini ditularkan melalui kontak langsung melalui percikan dari saluran napas orang yang terinfeksi (yang keluar melalui batuk dan bersin). Selain itu, seseorang juga dapat terinfeksi hanya dengan menyentuh permukaan benda yang terkontaminasi. Dimana tanpa disadari ketika mereka menyentuh area wajah (mata, hidung, mulut), tangan mereka sedang membawa virus. Walaupun virus ini terus menyebar, tindakan preventif yang dapat mencegah penularan lebih jauh perlu terus dilakukan. Penting untuk diingat bahwa COVID-19 tidak membeda-bedakan perbatasan wilayah, etnis, disabilitas, usia atau jenis kelamin. Untuk mengontrol penyebaran COVID-19, Dinas Kesehatan Nasional telah mengorganisir para ahli untuk secara berkala mengeluarkan dan memperbarui panduan dalam mendiagnosis, menindak, mencegah dan mengendalikan. Panduan ini ditulis berdasarkan studi, analisa, dan ringkasan tindakan yang telah ditempuh dalam kasus-kasus COVID-19 sebelumnya, dan ini dipakai menjadi rujukan bagi staf medis dan petugas kesehatan masyarakat untuk lebih memahami, mencegah, dan menindak COVID-19. Dalam rangka berbagi informasi secara jujur dan objektif dalam pencegahan COVID-19 pemerintah melakukan antisipasi terkait diagnosa, tindakan, pencegahan, dan pengalaman mengendalikan. Berharap kegiatan penyuluhan ini dapat memberikan manfaat kepada masyarakat yang terkena dampak COVID-19, dan menjadi bentuk berbagi pengalaman dan bekerja sama dalam mencegah, mengendalikan, mendiagnosis pencegahan virus Corona. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat prodi Teknik Industri Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 menunjukan bukti nyata yang dapat dilakukan pada saat ini.

Abstract

Metalindo Perkasa is a company engaged in the field of furniture that produces chairs. In the production process of stacking chair components, there are problems encountered, namely the number of defects that exceed 1% of the standard determination. It can be a maximum lack of opinion on the company.The research was conducted with the aim of finding solutions to the factors that cause disability and finding action solutions to minimize disability. The method used in this research is Statistical Process Control (SPC). The results showed that the types of defects found were hollow, bent and curly.Factors that cause defects are human factors, machine factors, method factors, action solutions to eliminate defects by training operators, carrying out machine maintenance and checking machine components regularly and increasing supervision when setting degrees.

Abstract

Hydroponic systems require precise control over nutrient levels and water flow to ensure optimal plant growth. Manual management is still widely used, which often leads to imprecise nutrient delivery, water wastage, and inefficiency. This study aims to develop an intelligent system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and fuzzy logic to automatically regulate pH and TDS levels in a Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) hydroponic setup. The methodology includes the integration of pH, TDS, ultrasonic, and flow sensors with an ESP32 microcontroller and the Blynk application. Sensor data is processed using fuzzy logic to produce outputs in the form of liquid volume (liters) and pump activation duration (seconds). The system is designed to control pH UP/DOWN and fertilizer pumps are automatically based on the delta and error values of the measured parameters. Implementation results indicate that the system effectively maintains nutrient stability and reduces water and fertilizer wastage. Additionally, it enables real-time remote monitoring via a mobile application. Therefore, this intelligent system offers an efficient and adaptive solution for supporting sustainable hydroponic farming.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in supporting Indonesia's economy, contributing 61.07% to the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP). However, MSMEs still face various challenges, particularly low productivity due to limited access to technology and production equipment. A clear example is Kedai Ndeso, located in Jiyu Village, Kutorejo District, Mojokerto Regency. This small food business faces inefficiencies in the noodle boiling process, which is still done manually using conventional methods, resulting in limited production capacity and longer service times. Through this community service program, the implementation team aimed to develop and apply an appropriate technology innovation in the form of a multi-strainer noodle boiler to help improve MSME productivity. The method used was a participatory approach, actively involving the Kedai Ndeso owner throughout each stage of the program, which was conducted from July 13 to 24, 2025. The developed noodle boiler measures 35x35x35 cm and is made of food-grade stainless steel. It features six separate strainers, allowing six portions of noodles to be cooked simultaneously in the same amount of time.nTesting results demonstrated that this tool significantly increased production efficiency without compromising the quality of the noodles. It also led to operational cost savings, especially in terms of energy use and labor time. Additionally, training and outreach activities were carried out to ensure effective knowledge transfer to the MSME owner. This appropriate technology innovation has proven to be a practical solution for MSMEs in the culinary sector, helping them increase productivity and competitiveness while maintaining consistent product quality and ensuring food safety. Therefore, this initiative provides a tangible contribution to supporting the sustainability and independence of small enterprises in rural areas, empowering them to compete more effectively in the modern economy.
