Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of (1) personality, (2) self-efficacy, (3) decision making of thead master who are working at Senior High School in Jakarta District. Survey method with a quantitative-causal approach using path analyses was used to in this research. This survey was conducted from February to May, 2018 involving 89 head master in a District as samples. This sampling was determined randomly by Slovin formula. The findings of this study indicated: first, there is a positive direct effect of personality on decision making. Second, there is a positive direct effect of self-efficacy on decision making. Third, there is a positive direct effect of personality on self-efficacy. Based on the findings, it is suggested for the Principal which is the position is as a manager in the school to be a good role model for the teachers in respecting and appreciating others.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain data, facts, and information about the influence of leadership and work performance conflict. This study uses survey research methods using quantitative-causal using path analysis. This mapping is carried out to analyze the relationship between variables with the aim to make direct or indirect relations of exogenous variables to endogenous variables. Based on the results of the research and discussion that have been described in the previous chapter, in the research on the Effect of Leadership and Conflict on Employee Performance of the Tanggerang District Education Office, it was concluded: (1) Direct positive leadership towards Job Performance. That is, effective leadership results in an increase in the work performance of employees of the Tanggerang District Education Office. (2) Negative direct conflict with Work Performance. That is, a decrease in work conflict Increases Job Performance of the Staff of the Tanggerang District Education Office. (3) Leadership has a direct negative effect on conflict. That is, effective leadership leads to a decline in the status of employees of the Tanggerang District Education Office. Thus, based on the results of these studies, it can be concluded that the Work Performance of the District Education Office of Tanggerang District is by conflict and conflict

Abstract

A study of determining the influence of self confidence and communication on the teacher’s performance at junior high school have been done which the samples were taken at a district of Pulogadung ,East Jakarta. In this work a survey method with path analysis techniques was used by applying a questioner as a researched instrument. 98 responders were involved by sending their feedback within the questioner. Those responders were decided using simple random sampling among all teachers that working at the predetermined location. The results showing both self confidence and communication perform significant effect on the teacher’s performance. Moreover there is a correlation between self confidence and communication which one affects the other.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of school culture and work climate on performance. This research was conducted in public high schools using a survey method with multiple linear regression analysis applied in hypothesis testing and 60 samples selected by the sampling area. The findings of this study are (1) the positive direct influence of school culture on performance, (2) the positive direct influence of the work climate on performance, and (3) the positive direct influence of school culture on the work climate. Based on the findings in this study, it can be concluded that school culture and work climate have a direct effect on performance, and school culture has a very significant degree of influence compared to the work climate.

Abstract

Performance is the result of work and the progress that has been made by someone in their field of work. In achieving good result it needs to be supported by managerial effectiveness and a good work ethic between each person has an influence in improving teacher performance Elementary School at Kecamatan Teluk Mutiara Kabupater Alor.The population in this study amounted to 229 teachers, taking research samples using simple random sampling techniques using Slovin formula so that there were 146 teachers. Data is empirical data obtained from questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The collected data was anakyzed by descriptive analysis, then the hypothesis used path analysis.The results of the study show that there is a Principal Management Effectiveness that has a positive direct on performance. Work Ethics has a positive direct effect on performance. PPrincipal Management Effectiveness has a positive direct effect on the Work Ethic. The research implications are to improve the managerial effectiveness
