Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of improving physics learning outcomes by applying the CTL (contextual teaching learning) learning model to the concepts of quantity and units. This type of research is an experimental study with a village pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class X IPA of SMA N 8 Tikep totaling 44 students spread over 2 classes, the sample in this study was a portion of a population of 22 students with cluster sampling techniques. Having obtained 2 classes as samples then randomized to determine the experimental class and the control class. Data collection in this research is to use the test. The test is done before and after learning. The results of this study indicate that: (1) in the control class the average pretest value was 54.35 while the posttest mean score of 74.76 was still lower than the experimental class, (2) in the experimental class the average pretest value was 68.43 while the average posttest score of 81.56 is higher than the control class, (3) the average posttest score of the experimental class> control class is 81.56> 74.76 which means the experimental class learning outcomes are higher than control class, in paired t-test, the result obtained is sig.2 tailed at 0,000 <0.05 using the CTL (contextual teaching learning) model on the concept of Quantity and Measurement more effectively

Abstract

This research is an experimental research. It was conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Tidore Islands in October 2021. The population in this study were students of class XI science at SMA Negeri 8 Tidore Islands which consisted of 20 students in the experimental class XI IPA 1 and 20 students in the control class XI IPA2. The experimental class is treated by using the demonstration learning method while the control class uses conventional learning. The design used in this research is the Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design. The research instrument was in the form of a learning outcome test. To test the hypothesis using the paired sample t-test. Data analysis was done descriptively. The results of this study indicate that: (1) In the experimental class the average value of the pretest is 35 while the average value of the posttest is 78, (2) In the control class the average value of the pretest is 35 while the posttest average value is 64. lower than the experimental class, (3) The average posttest value of the experimental class > control class is 78 > 64 which means that the experimental class learning outcomes are higher than the control class, in the paired t-test, the results obtained are sig. 2 tailed of 0.002 < 0.05 the use of the demonstration method on the concept of heat and its transfer is more effective

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengingkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran learning cell dan metode pembelajaran langsung pada konsep bunyi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian komparatif sedangkan desain penelitiannya adalah eksperimen tipe pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Babingkas toniku, dengan jumlah siswa adalah 65 siswa yang terdiri dari 3 kelas, yaitu, kelas VIIIA terdiri atas 22 siswa, kelas VIIIB terdiri atas 21 siswa dan kelas VIIIC terdiri 22 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 kelas (43 siswa) yaitu kelas VIIIA yang terdiri atas 22 siswa, dan kelas VIIIB yang terdiri atas 21 siswa, yang diambil secara cluster sampling, dan kemudian kedua kelas tersebut ditentukan sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes hasil belajar. Tes dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Bentuk soal tes yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dalam bentuk essay yang berjumlah 7 item dengan skor total 50. Analisis data dengan menggunakan statistik persamaan dua rata-rata (uji t). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji kesamaan dua rata-rata diperoleh thitung = 2,24 dan ttabel = 2,02. Dengan demikian H0 dan Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukan terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran learning cell dan metode pembelajaran langsung pada konsep bunyi, dengan besar peningkatan 17,21%.

Abstract

This Research Aims To Know The Use Of Interactive Multimedia Based On Autoplay Media Studio Against Student Learning Outcomes of Class XI SMA Negeri 8 Tikep on Fluid Concepts. The type of research used is experimental research with a pretest - posttest control group design . This research was carried out in class XI students of SMA Negeri 8 Tikep which totaled 47 students spread over 2 classes and the sample in this study were students of class XI IPA 1 (as an experimental class) and class IPA 2 (as a control class). Collecting data in this study is by using a test in the form of a description. The results obtained by the average student learning outcomes increased. The average post-test results using the use of interactive multimedia (MMI) Autoplay Media Studio Model drill and practice in the experimental class was 79.56 while using the powerpoint media lecture method in the control class the average value was 58.90. The results of the analysis of hypothesis testing using the independent test Sample T_test assisted by SPSS 21.0 obtained t_count of 3.742 > t_table value of 2.014 so that H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted which means there is an increase in learning outcomes using Interactive Multimedia based on Autoplay media studio drill and practice models
