Abstract

The experiment was carried out in an experimental garden located in Gg. Lebaksari, Wadas, Telukjambe Timur District, Karawang, West Java from March to June 2021. The research method used was an experimental method with a single factor Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 7 treatment combinations and repeated 4 times, the treatments consisted of: A(Without Treatment), B (300 kg/ha NPK), C (200 ml/litre rice washing water), D (250 kg/ha NPK + 100 ml/lt rice washing water), E (250 kg/ha NPK + 50 ml/lt rice washing water), F (200 kg/ha NPK + 100 ml/lt rice washing water), G (200 kg/ha NPK + 50 ml/lt rice washing water). The results of this study showed that the combination of compound NPK fertilizer and fermented rice washing water had a significant effect on plant heights at 14 and 28 days and on the number of leaves 7 and 28 days after planting. Treatment D was a combination of NPK 250 kg/ha + fermented rice washing water 100 ml/lt gave the best results for plant height 14 hst and treatment G was a combination of NPK 200 kg/ha + fermented rice washing water 50 ml/lt gave the best results for the amount of leaves 7 hst.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the combined dose of mustard greens based on the optimal dose of NPK inorganic fertilizer and rabbit urine organic fertilizer that could increase the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). This study used an experimental method with a single factor Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of a combination of NPK and rabbit urine with 11 treatments repeated 3 times so that 33 experimental units were obtained and then analyzed using the DMRT test level 5%. The parameters analyzed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (sheet/plant), leaf length (cm), leaf area (cm2), plant weight (grams/plant), plant weight suitable for consumption (grams/plant), and plant weight per plot (grams/plant). The results showed that the combination treatment of NPK and rabbit urine had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves and leaf length. The results of treatment H (NPK fertilizer 150 kg/ha rabbit urine 20 lt/ha) gave the highest leaf area of ​​266.36 cm2, the highest plant space weight was 192.00 grams/plant, fresh weight of plants suitable for consumption was 182.15 grams/plant. plants and the highest plant weight per plot was 1796.67 grams/plot

Abstract

Kemunculan hama baru Spodoptera frugiperda dapat merusak hingga 80% tanaman jagung sebagai inang utamanya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi pestisida nabati ekstrak daun pepaya terbaik yang mampu meningkatkan mortalitas ulat grayak (Spodoptera frugiperda) pada tanaman jagung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktor tunggal yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dengan 4 kali ulangan : A (Kontrol) ; B (Insektisida deltametrin 1 ml/lt) ; C (Ekstrak daun pepaya 20 g/l) ; D (Ekstrak daun pepaya 40 g/l) ; E (Ekstrak daun pepaya 60 g/l) ; F (Ekstrak daun pepaya 80 g/l). Pengaplikasian melalui pada larva. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian ekstrak daun pepaya berpengaruh terhadap mortalitas, persentase larva berhenti makan. Pemberian ekstrak daun pepaya dengan konsentrasi 80g/l memberikan mortalitas tertinggi sebesar 100,00% serta mematikan 50% larva uji lebih singkat dengan rata-rata kematian 6 jam setelah aplikasi berdasarkan analiss probit LT50. Perlakuan ekstrak daun pepaya konsentrasi 80 g/l dapat direkomendasikan untuk pengendalian hama S.frugiperda yang dapat menekan populasi larva S. frugiperda.

Abstract

Padi (Oryza sativa L.) merupakan bahan pangan penting yang banyak dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat di Indonesia dan Dunia. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi produktivitas tanaman padi yaitu serangan organisme penganggu tanaman (OPT). Asap cair merupakan cairan hasil kondensasi asap pembakaran biomasa kayu dalam wadah kedap udara. Penggunaan asap cair di ketahui dapat menekan laju serangan OPT. Percobaan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh asap cair dalam menekan populasi hama penting pada tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L.) Varietas Inpari 32. Percobaan ini di laksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Balai Besar Peramalan Organisme Penganggu Tumbuhan (BBPOPT), Desa Balonggandu, Kecamatan Jatisari, Kabupaten Karawang pada bulan Mei hingga Agustus 2022. Percobaan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktor tunggal dengan 4 perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak 9 kali dengan taraf: A = Asap Cair 0,5%, B = Asap Cair 1%, C = Asap Cair 2%, K = Kontrol. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh nyata aplikasi asap cair terhadap populasi hama penting pada tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L.) varietas inpari 32 pada populasi wereng punggung putih 13 MST. Asap cair dengan konsentrasi 2% mampu menekan populasi wereng punggung putih pada 13 MST.

Abstract

Sheath blight (Rhizoctonia solani) is an important disease of rice plants that can cause yield losses of up to 20% and will continue to increase if the severity is high. Excessive use of fungicides has a negative impact on living things and the environment. The solution that can be found is to utilize biological agents such as Trichoderma sp. to control plant diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using several carrier materials on the growth of Trichoderma sp. and its ability to suppress rice sheath blight. This study used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) Single Factor for the growth test of Trichoderma sp. on several carrier materials consisting of 4 treatments (B1, B2, B3, B4) and 6 replications, as well as a Single Factor Randomized Block Design (RBD) for the test of the ability of Trichoderma sp. to suppress sheath blight with 7 treatments (F0, F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6) and 4 replications. The results of the study showed that Treatment B4 (Parboiled Rice + Dry Chicken Manure + Sugar) produced the best growth of Trichoderma sp., and each Trichoderma sp. treatment had no significant effect on seed germination and the incidence of leaf sheath blight disease

Abstract

Cylas formicarius is a major pest of sweet potato plants in Indonesia that can disrupt and harm farmers because this pest can reduce sweet potato yields by up to 100%. Beauveria bassiana is an entomopathogenic fungus that has the potential to be a plant pest control agent. Papaya leaves are one of the plants that have the potential to control pests. This study aims to obtain effective treatment increasing mortality and suppressing the attack of Cylas formicarius. The method used was an experimental method with a single-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 7 treatments and 4 replications: A (Control aquadest); B (40% Papaya leaf extract); C (60% Papaya leaf extract); D (80% Papaya leaf extract); E (Beauveria bassiana 109 + 40% Papaya leaf extract); F (Beauveria bassiana 109 + 60% Papaya leaf extract); G (Beauveria bassiana 109 + 80% Papaya leaf extract). Data were analyzed using F-test and Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 5% significance level. The results showed that the treatment G (Beauveria bassiana 109 + 80% Papaya leaf extract) achieved the highest mortality of 100%. Treatment F (Beauveria bassiana 109 + 60% Papaya leaf extract) gave an average mortality result of 82,50%. The best average LC50 concentration was 63,40%. Thus, treatment F (B. bassiana 109 + 60% Papaya leaf extract) is more recommended to controlling and suppressing the population Cylas formicarius as it requires less raw material and so it is more efficient
