Abstract

Some Christian education experts have expressed their views on how the church should develop a curriculum to educate church members to achieve maturity in the Christian faith. This article purpose to develop a curriculum for Christian education in Church ministry. The method used is a literature study on the opinions of D. CampbellWyckoff and Maria Harris. The characteristics of Wyckoff and Harris's opinions and various responses in "imaginative dialogue", as well as modifications of the Christian education Foundations, Principles andPractices schemes of Robert W. Pazmino became a model to develop a Christian education curriculum in church life. The development of the Christian education curriculum begins with setting the goal of implementing Christian education for a group in the Christian community. Furthermore, curriculum development requires thecontribution of various development foundations, including biblical, theological, philosophical, educational, scientific and technological, historical, socio-cultural, ecclesiological and psychological.

Abstract

Musik merupakan salah satu media bukan hanya digunakan oleh orang-orang Kristen dalam peribadahan, tetapi juga untuk berbagi iman. Orang-orang Kristen sebaiknya menggunakan musik untuk  mengembangkan salah satu bentuk dari spiritualitas kristiani, yakni melayani semua orang dan mengarahkannya kepada Kristus.

Abstract

The numerical notation is one of musical notation which is very popular for most of the Indonesian people, especially composers or music practitioners who have not learned music in formal education. This article is one of the researches about tools modification of music application program of Finale to get a special template to write numerical notation. The method which is used in this research is action research. With this method, the researcher use Finale Music Program tools to get a special template to write numerical notation. The result of this research is a special template to write numerical notation.

Abstract

The effectiveness of learning of Christian Religious Education at school needs some media. Song, as a part of musical activity, is one of the media which is used by Christian Religious Education teachers to teach the Christian faith effectively. The aim of this article is to affirm the important role of the song as one of the learning media of Christian Religious Education at school. This Article is written with an observation and library study approach. The result of this article shows that: song could be used by Christian Religious Education teachers as media in the teaching-learning process; song could be used in the beginning as a bridge to the entrance to a special topic, the song could be used in the middle of the lesson as a resource of learning, and song could be used at the end of earning to enforce topic that learned by students; using the song in teaching-learning Christian Religious Education has a good preparation, both knowing the meaning of the song and learning the melody so that Christian Religious Education teacher could sing the song, teaches students to sing, and sing together rightly. AbstrakPembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di sekolah yang efektif perlu ditunjang dengan berbagai media. Sebagai bagian dari aktivitas musikal, nyanyian merupakan salah satu media yang dapat digunakan oleh guru PAK untuk mengajarkan iman Kristen secara efektif. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menegaskan peran penting dari nyanyian sebagai media dalam pembelajran PAK di Sekolah. Artikel  ini ditulis dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah: nyanyian dapat digunakan oleh guru PAK sebagai media dalam proses belajar-mengajar (pembelajaran); nyayian dapat digaunakan pada bagian awal pembelajaran sebagai jembatan untuk masuk pada topik tertentu, nyanyian dapat digunakan pada pertengahan sebagai sumber belajar, dan nyanyian dapat digunakan pada akhir pembelajaran sebagai penguatan kepada topik yang telah dipelajari oleh naradidik; penggunaan nyanyain dalam mengajar-belajar (pembelajaran) PAK perlu dipersiapkan dengan secara bertanggung jawab oleh guru, baik dalam hal mengetahui makna dari nyanyian dan juga belajar melodi nyanyian dengan baik sehingga guru PAK dapat menyanyikan nyanyian dengan baik dan membelajarkan nyanyian tersebut kepada naradidik dan bernyanyi dengan naradidik dengan benar.

Abstract

Curriculum is one of element of process of Christian Education. There is many arguments of how we develop our curriculum to educate people about Christian faith. Two of the arguments came from D. Campbell Wyckoff and Maria Harris. I hope, this Imaginative Dialogue will help many churches and give informations, especially The Protestant Church of Mollucass, to develop their curriculum to educate people about Christian faith.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the history of the struggle of the Toraja nobility as a source for the composition of Topada Tindo musical composition.  Reviving the history of Topada Tindo through musical compositions has an important meaning for the Torajan people's struggle to dare fighting against every tyrannical power that oppresses the people. Musical compositions that originate from the history of people's struggles can also functionally continue to revive and preserve positive historical values for each generation. This research uses an art composition method starting from the stage of building ideas from the history of Toraja nobility, exploring themes and theoretical concepts of the work, as well as forming the composition of Topada Tindo musical works. The authors argue that the history of the Topada Tindo struggle is not only a source for the musical composition but can also provide inspiration and guidance for the Torajan people today to faight and kee struggling for well-being. Topada Tindo's musical composition consists of four parts as a description of the musical situation, namely the peaceful situation (part one), the situation of the entry of external cultural influences (part two), the situation of the arrival of Arung Palakka troops (part three), ending with Topada Tindo's resistance (part four). This composition uses the basic notes Bm and C#m, with multimetric 4/4 and 6/8.
