Abstract

Abstract The translation of the Koran by orientalists often gets a negative response. However, Arberry's translation of the Koran as part of the orientalists countered the corrupted image through his work. This acceptance of his work wants the author to express through Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis approach which focuses on text, social cognition and social context. The results of this study indicate that Arberry sees the Qur'an as a supernatural work that must be interpreted in an original way. In social cognition, Arberry was also influenced by the great concept of Reynold Alleyne Nicholson for his anxiety about the translation of the Qur'an. Meanwhile, in the social context, Arberry's life journey began with his desire to translate the Qur'an objectively.

Abstract

Childfree or what can be understood as a child-free program is a problem that is currently a hot topic of discussion, especially in Indonesia. However, this phenomenon is also implied in the Qur’an, so it is necessary to refer back to the Qur’an. This research will explore how maqashid verses related to childfree. By using the Tafsir Maqashidi approach, the author will try to see how the maqashid contained in a verse includes the maqashid of the Qur’an and the maqashid of the shari’ah. The results of this study include (1) childfree is one way to turn off indigenous regeneration with a modern version; (2) economic motive is one of the causes of child-killing behavior; (3) childfree has deviated from Islamic law in the form of hifz nasl and hifz nafs, the article is that by taking care of offspring, the human population is maintained

Abstract

It is normal for the popularity of the parents to affect the popularity of the child in the age of information and communication technologies. However, many Indonesian popular personalities actually purposefully incorporate their kids in their job because the kids have many admirers who genuinely appreciate them. Whether we are aware of it or not, the digital era has an influence on the term influencer’s rise in a range of age groups, including youngsters. Influencers play a common role in the digital world, but influencers are also held in high regard by young people (kids). The use of Kid influencers frequently serves as a means of subsistence and promotes the use of child exploitation. In order to analyze sura Al-Furqan (25): 74 and find maqasid and moral notions, this study uses library research and Tafsir Maqasidi. Tafsir Maqasidi is used since it falls under the contemporary category and has applications for solving current issues. According to this study, sura Al-Furqan (25):74 is not merely a lofty ideal; it must be put into practice by parents in a variety of roles toward their children. This verse also contains maqasid aspects that lead to hifs nafz and hifz nasl.

Abstract

Some readers make QS. Al-Qasas [28]: 85 as the argument for going home or returning home. This can be seen by the presence of posts from one of the official accounts of millennial youth preaching @quranreview on Instagram. The indicator for returning home cannot be separated from the ma'ad vocabulary, which means a place to return. Even so, it is necessary to look again at the entire verse, because the context that has not been read is in the form of the da'wah context in it . Because of this, a re-examination is needed starting from the syntagmatics, the munasabah, to the context of the verse, so that an increasingly broad meaning can be found. By using the ma'na-cum-maghza approach which in its steps does not only look at the conditions when the verse was revealed ( maghza at-tarikhi) but also involves dynamic changes to the present ( maghza al-mutaharrik ), it can be seen that the verse studied not only interpreted by the process of traveling to a place of return but much broader than that. The results of this research include that this verse does not only talk about returning home but is related to the behavior of preachers as well as leaders . Leaders who can provide a guarantee of a safe life because they have carried out their mandate by carrying out orders according to the rules without defending wrong or justifying false cases as determined by law. Keywords: Islamic Da'wah, QS. Al-Qasas [28]: 85-88, Ma'na-Cum-Maghza
