Abstract

Penelitian ini terfokus pada analisis Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) calon guru kimia menggunakan CoRe (Content Representation) Framework dan strategi metakognitif pada mata kuliah Telaah Kurikulum Kimia. PCK merupakan representasi gabungan antara isi materi pelajaran dan pedagogik yang dimilik oleh guru sehingga siswa tertarik dan mudah untuk memahami suatu materi (Shulman, 1987). Oleh karena itu, CoRe framework dan strategi metakognitif pada penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengembangkan penguasaan konsep kimia dan cara menyampaikan konsep tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan studi interpretif kualitatif hingga menghasilkan profil PCK calon-calon guru kimia terkait dengan penguasaan konsep-konsep kimia. Data diperoleh dari rubrik PCK, MAIT (Metacogitive Awareness Inventory for Teachers), wawancara, observasi, nilai tes konsep, dan kertas refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat PCK calon-calon guru kimia tergolong tinggi. Terlihat bahwa Content Knowledge (CK) yang mereka miliki sedikit lebih tinggi daripada Pedagogical Knowledge (PK). Hasil MAIT (Metacogitive Awareness Inventory for Teachers) juga menunjukkan bahwa calon-calon guru tersebut memiliki kesadaran metakognitif yang sangat tinggi sehingga mereka mengetahui kelemahan dan kekuatannya sendiri dalam mengajar. Abstract

The purpose of this reseacrh is to develop electronic module based on Learning Cycle 5E model on acid-base materials in chemistry learning. This research process used the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation) research and development method. This research was conducted from December 2018 until June 2019. The research instrument that used ini this study are preliminary and needs questionnaire of students and teachers, media, material and language experts validation questionnaire, and trial test questionnaire on students and teachers. The expert validation of the electronic module was carried out by three material and language experts and media experts. The results of the material and language experts on the overall indicator obtained as good to excellent categories. The results of the media experts on the overall indicator obtained as good to excellent categories. Result of the product trial test to students and teachers on the overall indicator obtained with good to excellent categories. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the devlopment of electronic module based on Learning Cycle 5E on acid-base materials is in accordance with students and teachers needs and has been eligible to be used in the learning process as a source of students learning.

Abstract

Abstract Through a program with the theme of urban farming as a food security solution in Central Kaliabang Village, North Bekasi, it is expected to be able to realize food security in the family and community environment, increase productivity, and provide insight to the community to be skilled in processing natural resources and human resources through urban methods. farming to achieve food security. As an effort to provide an understanding to the public about the importance of the food security movement, food security counseling is carried out with urban farming. The method used is carried out in three stages, namely the socialization and preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. From the program that has been carried out by RW 016 Central Kaliabang, North Bekasi, the results can encourage and revive the spirit of mothers to implement urban farming on narrow land as an effort to support food self-sufficiency. Abstrak Melalui program yang bertema urban farming sebagai solusi ketahanan pangan di Desa Kaliabang Tengah, Bekasi Utara, diharapkan mampu mewujudkan ketahanan pangan di lingkungan keluarga maupun masyarakat, meningkatkan produktivitas, serta memberikan wawasan kepada masyarakat untuk terampil mengolah sumber daya alam maupun sumber daya manusia melalui metode urban farming sehingga tercapainya ketahanan pangan. Sebagai upaya untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat terhadap pentingnya gerakan ketahanan pangan maka dilakukan penyuluhan ketahanan pangan dengan urban farming. Metode yang dilakukan dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu tahap sosialisasi dan persiapan, tahap implementasi, dan tahap evaluasi. Dari program yang telah dilakukan oleh RW 016 Kaliabang Tengah, Bekasi Utara hasilnya mampu mendorong dan membangkitkan kembali semangat ibu-ibu untuk mengimplementasikan urban farming dilahan sempit sebagai upaya mendukung kemandirian pangan.

Abstract

This research is aimed to find out the uses of concept maps as instruments of assessment students’ conceptual understanding through PDEODE learning model on acid-base materials. This research uses qualitative methods, conducted at SMAN Jakarta in the second semester. The participants were the 36 students of grade XI MIPA in one of Senior High School in Jakarta. The treatment is given based on Predict-Discuss-Explain-Observe-Discuss-Explain (PDEODE). The research data was obtained from the assessment of concept maps, observations, and interviews. The assessment of concept map uses the Novak and Gowin assessment rubric which added concepts. The results showed concept map can be used as an instrument for assessing conceptual understanding and misconception of students. The PDEODE learning model affects the process of students in understanding the concept of acid-base. Conceptual understanding of students is classified as medium and low criteria. Through concept maps can be identified misconceptions experienced by students especially on the theory of acid-base. Keywords Concept Maps, Conceptual Understanding, PDEODE, Acid-Base, Assessment
