Abstract

In today's modern era, the development of technology and informatics is not something foreign to the public. As currently, RFID and Microsoft Excel technology can be used to overcome problems in everyday life such as student attendance or employees in private and government-owned agencies, security systems, parking systems, and can be used to monitor various reports on inventory that can be known in real time. time either by online or by synchronizing data, so the development of RFID technology cannot be doubted. However, the development of technology in Indonesia itself has not been fully evenly distributed where there are some areas that still do not apply this technology as a tool for daily activities, there are still a lot of regions that collect employee attendance still use the para or signature method, this of course can lead to fraud committed by unscrupulous employees for personal gain. The purpose of this study is to optimize and reduce attendance manipulation of sub-district office employees, because there are still a lot of government agencies, especially local government agencies that still perform attendance manually, such as the Witihama sub-district office. Witihama District is one of the sub-districts in eastern Indonesia, precisely in East Flores Regency, East Nusa Tenggara which still uses the employee initials method, so a technology such as RFID is needed to support the work of employees because this technology is very effective. The function of using RFID is to validate attendance and the function of Microsoft Excel itself is a media of information and attendance monitoring system directly and accurately by the disciplinary commission of the sub-district office.

Abstract

Thesis is the result of a scientific research paper written and adapted to the scientific rules that apply in writing and the process of working on a thesis, usually students are guided by two supervisors. Because during the pandemic and the difficulty of consulting with supervisors and the establishment of health protocols to avoid the impact of the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the author intends to build a Thesis Guidance Information System application that can be accessed online and based on a website and facilitates the thesis implementation process. Features contained in the system include students who can submit ideas and thesis titles and can see notifications of ideas and thesis titles being rejected or not. Students who carry out theses can be ensured that they are supervised by their supervisors, therefore supervisors can guide their students using the application and can carry out online sessions and seminars. The thesis guidance information system is designed using the Model View Controller architecture which separates the user interface, data and control. This object-oriented system development model uses the Unified Modeling Language model which aims to analyze and model applications designed using Model View Controller-based architecture. The software development method used in the development of this system is Rapid Application Development because it has relatively simple features. The User Centered Design approach is that users in every stage of system development are also involved, so that the system formed can be used according to system needs.

Abstract

The slowness of a job can be affected by many things, mostly due to the large number of files for a single activity. The introduction of a computerized goods recording system is intended to assist users in carrying out their work and facilitate users in finding information on incoming and outgoing goods data. The application made has additional features from previous research, namely exporting incoming and outgoing goods data in the form of 3D graphics and there is a live chat that functions for interaction between application users. For data security, the transaction id stored in the database uses base64 encryption, aiming to secure data from irresponsible parties. In the encryption process, it has been tested using 300 data and has a file size of 1MiB (Mebibyte) by making the data safe and cannot be cracked by other parties. In testing the attack on encrypted data in this application, 20 methods of attack were proven to be unhackable, unless using the encode that was made in this application. The data security process used is to encrypt the transaction id of incoming goods and outgoing goods stored in the database and the description results are found on the website page

Abstract

Qurbani worship is a worship of the slaughter of livestock carried out on the feast of Eid al-Adha. In Indonesia the dominant livestock used for qurban worship is goats and cows, qurban animals that are allowed to be slaughtered also have conditions ranging from age and most importantly their health. This research is done so that goats and cows that will be slaughtered for qurban worship are free from existing diseases. Some of the problems in the system that will be built is the lack of understanding of the sellers of animals qurban about the diseases suffered by goats and cows from the symptoms experienced by these animals. This study used  the method of forward chaining  and  certaity factor in solving the problems that exist in goat and cow animals, to produce a conclusion in detecting diseases in these animals based on existing symptoms. The process of designing the application of disease detection expert systems in goat and cow animals uses the java programming language  and  uses   a text editor android  studio. The authors also tested the comparison of the combination method between forward chaining  and  certainty factor with the forward chaining  and  naïve bayes  methods  that received the highest percentage value results, namely in the  forward chaing  and  certainty factor  methods with a value of  9.553%.  in scab disease suffered by goat animals and a value of  9.509%in bloating disease suffered by cow animals. Getting the final result on the calculation of detection of goat disease by 91,264% with indicated suffering from  scab disease and also in cow animals by 90,432% indicated to suffer from bloating disease, both the final results of the calculation of the type of disease suffered by goats and cows respectively seen from the symptoms that have been inputted by the  user.

Abstract

Disorders of the eye become a disease that is often experienced. There is a new symptom model found, causing confusion that occurs. Diseases of the eye often attack humans, especially in the current era of digital technology, because they spend more time staring at cell phone or computer screens. So the application of this expert system is made to provide solutions for the community to diagnose the symptoms that are often experienced. In making this application, the forward chaining method and certainty factor are used in the application built and comparison with the combined forward chaining and naive Bayes method. The test is carried out by testing 40 data samples based on existing symptoms, carried out by the system and also manually to see the accuracy of the values given. The results given are that there is a fairly high level of certainty in the diagnosis of hypermetropia with a certainty value of 88.43% and the smallest certainty value in the diagnosis of presbyopia with a value of 61.702% of the total testing obtained a probability level of certainty ranging from 51%-79%.

Abstract

Researchers will be designing the access network Fiber To The Home (FTTH) on the technology of Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON). The location that became the case study was the National University of Block IV, where the network speed at the site was slightly reduced speed. The purpose is to get the design of an access service network that is expected to be implemented for triple play services. Starting with data collection of data. The Fiber To The Home (FTTH) network design determining device specification, layout and number of devices used and simulated using Optisystem application. Then in the analysis based on predefined parameters in the form of BER (Bit Error Rate), Link Power Budget, and Rise Time Budget that meet the optical network with the standard of PT. Telkom. The results of the BER value has fulfilled the minimum BER value specified for fiber optic is 10-9 and for parameter Q – Factor obtained value 9,32288 so that has been meets the standard because it shows values above 6
