Abstract

Musculoskeletal Disorders is a condition where there is a disorder that attacks the function of muscles and bones. MSDs often occur when the work facilities used during work do not apply ergonomic principles. MSME Bani Marfu Farm is a type of poultry farming business that has work facilities that do not apply ergonomic principles. The purpose of this research is to identify jobs that do not apply ergonomic principles, find out the complaints felt by workers, and design proposals for improving work facilities. The research methods used to assess work posture are the Rapid Entire Body Assessment, Workplace Ergonomic Risk Assessment, and Novel Ergonomic Postural Assessment methods. The method used to design work facilities is the Ergonomic Function Deployment method. The results showed that the work of cleaning livestock manure has a level of risk that can cause ongoing MSDs complaints. The proposed corrective action is to design a tool that can dispose of livestock manure automatically so as to improve work posture. The results of the analysis by paying attention to the value of Net Present Value, Payback Period, and Return of Investment indicate that the investment in the procurement of proposed work tools is said to be feasible.

Abstract

Kualitas merupakan salah satu faktor yang memiliki peranan penting dalam memberikan kepuasan kepada konsumen. Permasalahan mengenai kualitas menjadi isu yang kerap dibahas dalam perusahaan untuk merancang suatu strategi guna mempertahankan posisi dan meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan pada persaingan global dengan perusahaan lainnya. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mempertahankan serta meningkatkan kualitas adalah melalui pengendalian kualitas secara statistik (statistical quality control). UMKM Puyuh Kompas merupakan salah satu jenis usaha peternakan unggas yang belum menerapkan prinsip pengendalian kualitas. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis pengendalian kualitas pada produksi telur puyuh, mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis kecacatan pada produksi telur puyuh, dan memberikan usulan dalam mengendalikan jenis-jenis kecacatan pada produksi telur puyuh di UMKM tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode statistical quality control dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sample. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengendalian kualitas pada proses produksi telur puyuh di perusahaan tersebut belum berjalan dengan baik. Jenis kecacatan yang dominan terjadi dalam proses produksi adalah telur retak dan telur pucat. Tindakan usulan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah dan menurunkan tingkat kecacatan dengan menetapkan standar operasional prosedur, memperbaiki desain dan tata letak kandang, dan memasang komponen-komponen pendukung yang dapat mencegah burung puyuh terkena wabah penyakit serta serangan hama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mengimplementasi pendidikan karakter siswa dasar. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi literatur. Teknik pengumpulan data yakni dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan metode analisis data. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan media poster dalam pembelajaran siswa akan terbentuk pendidikan karakter dalam dirinya sendiri. Seiring perkembangan zaman, teknologi juga semakin canggih. Oleh karena itu peran pendidikan karakter sangat dibutuhkan agar siswa dapat memanfaatkan teknologi yang ada dengan bijak. Pendidikan karakter itu sendiri dapat divisualisasikan melalui media. Inovasi media yang digunakan untuk penguatan pendidikan karakter juga dapat memanfaatkan atau menyesuaikan dengan teknologi yang berkembang pada era modern. Salah satunya dengan media poster. Media poster dipilih sebagai bentuk pengembangan dari karakter siswa SD karena poster dianggap sebagai media yang efektif dan menarik. Terkadang siswa perlu melihat gambar visual untuk bisa memperkuat pemahaman mereka akan suatu materi. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian, di sinilah peran poster, yakni membantu para guru mempermudah materi yang bersifat abstrak, rumit dan belum dikenal oleh para siswa. Dengan menggunakan poster siswa SD akan lebih mudah untuk memahami tentang isi dari poster tersebut.

Abstract

Mesin pendingin (Refrigator) merupakan suatu rangkaian mesin yang mampu bekerja untuk menghasilkan suhu atau temperature dingin. Dalam sebuah pendingin, refrigeran dialirkan dalam proses-proses yang akan membentuk siklus kompresi uap standar. Praktikum kali ini akan membahas mengenai grafik penurunan suhu refrigerator serta COP yang dihasilkan baik maupun berdasarkan rancangan alat yang telah dibuat. Dimensi refrigerator yang digunakan adalah 33,5 cm x 24,5 cm x 30,5. Pendingin menggunakan peltier TEC-12706 dengan pendingin peltier menggunakan waterblock.Berdasarkan pengolahan data suhu yang didapatkan dilanjutkan dengan melakukan perhitungan menghasilkan terbesar 6,0870 dan terkecil 4,2381. dihasilkan terbesar 2,1812 dan terkecil 1,5926.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between feed prices and the productivity of broiler chickens in Indonesia, considering that poultry farming is the main source of animal protein needs for the community. One important component that influences production efficiency is feed prices, which often change due to changes in local and international markets. This research uses a quantitative analysis method with regression which is used in this research to find the relationship between the increase in feed prices and the level of productivity of broiler chickens, including body weight gain, feed efficiency and mortality rates. The data used includes feed prices, production costs and harvest yields from various regions in Indonesia during a certain time period. According to research results, the increase in feed prices made a significant contribution to the decline in broiler chicken productivity. These results indicate that to maintain production stability, strategies to manage feed costs and diversify local raw material sources are needed. In conclusion, to keep the poultry farming industry in Indonesia afloat, feed price stability is very important.

Abstract

Energy is the main need today, with fossil energy sources increasingly depleting. Therefore, the development of renewable energy, such as solar energy, is very important. This article discusses the efficiency produced by solar cells in research conducted at the Energy Conversion Laboratory of the National Development University "Veteran" East Java. Solar cells are devices that convert solar energy into electrical energy through photovoltaic effects, without producing pollution or greenhouse gases, so they are an environmentally friendly energy source. Data was taken at 10.00-10.30, by measuring battery and solar panel voltage, battery charging current, and solar panel temperature. The experimental method was used by collecting data three times every 15 minutes for 30 minutes. The solar panel used is GH solar type GH 100 WP-72. Efficiency is calculated based on input and output power, with the highest efficiency achieved when the battery is full. The results show the lowest efficiency of 3.67% at 10.40 with a light intensity of 313.24 W/m² and the highest efficiency between 20.76% to 23.52% at 13.20-13.50 with a light intensity of 255.64 W/m² to 289. 61 W/m². Solar cell efficiency is greatly influenced by battery condition and light intensity.

Abstract

Quality is one of the factors that have an important role in providing satisfaction to consumers. Theproblem of quality is an issue that is often discussed in companies to design a strategy to maintain thecompany's position and improve the company's competitiveness in global competition with othercompanies. One of the efforts that can be done to maintain and improve quality is through statisticalquality control. UMKM Puyuh Kompas is one type of poultry farming business that has not implementedthe principles of quality control. The purpose of the study was to analyze quality control in quail eggproduction, identify the types of defects in quail egg production, and provide suggestions for controllingthe types of defects in quail egg production in the UMKM. The research method used is statistical qualitycontrol method and the sampling technique used is purposive sample. The results showed that the qualitycontrol of the quail egg production process in the company had not been running well. The dominant typesof defects that occur in the production process are cracked eggs and pale eggs. Suggested actions that canbe taken to prevent and reduce disability levels are by setting standard operating procedures, improving thedesign and layout of the cage, and installing supporting components that can prevent quail from beingexposed to disease outbreaks and pest attacks.
