Abstract

Salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak pada industri manufaktur adalah PT Pindo Deli Pulp and Mills 1, yang memproduksi berbagai macam kertas, dan tissue. Art Board merupakan jenis kertas yang diproduksi PT Pindo Deli Pulp and Mills 1, serta cukup diminati customer. Namun seringkali permintaan customer terhadap produk Art Board mengalami fluktuasi. Permintaan produk termasuk aspek penting untuk dievaluasi, karena apabila perusahaan tidak melakukan perencanaan dengan tepat perusahaan akan mengalami kerugian finansial. Peramalan dapat dijadikan salah satu penunjang pengambilan keputusan perusahaan. Moving Average, Single Exponential Smoothing, dan Trend Analysis merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk menunjang peramalan pada penelitian ini, dimana tahap selanjutnya adalah analisis tingkat akurasi metode peramalan dengan parameter nilai MAD, MSE, standard error, bias, serta peramalan periode selanjutnya. Berdasarkan pengumpulan data hingga analisis yang telah dilakukan diperoleh bahwa metode moving average periode 1 merupakan metode terbaik dalam meramalkan permintaan produksi pada produk Art Board dengan peramalan periode berikutnya sebanyak 19410 unit, MAD sejumlah 3186,182, MSE sejumlah 16001250, serta bias sejumlah 634.546 sementara itu standard error sejumlah 4422.339.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKecelakaan kerja adalah suatu peristiwa atau momen yang tidak direncanakan serta tidak diinginkan yang bisa mengganggu proses produksi atau operasi, namun kemungkinan dapat terjadi dan dapat menimbulkan kerugian. Untuk mengurangi dampak atau risiko kecelakaan di CV CKS tersebut, peneliti menggunakan suatu manajemen risiko yang menggabungkan dua tools, yaitu metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) dan diagram tulang ikan (fishbone diagram). Metode FMEA digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi semua aktivitas yang berisiko menimbulkan kecelakaan dan menganalisis tingkat keparahannya, sedangkan metode diagram tulang ikan digunakan untuk menganalisis penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan, yang kemudian dapat diketahui penyebab mana yang menjadi prioritas dan membuat tindakan perbaikan yang bisa diambil untuk mencegah atau mengurangi peluang terjadinya kecelakaan kerja yang akan terjadi. Dari hasil perhitungan, didapatkan nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) tertinggi yaitu sebesar 43,8 diperoleh dari jenis kecelakaan kerja jari tangan terjepit mesin. Terjadinya kecelakaan kerja dapat diminimalisir dengan penanganan yang tepat, termasuk pengawasan yang ketat, penanganan prosedur kerja yang sesuai, dan mengingatkan pentingnya menggunakan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD). Kata kunci: kecelakaan kerja; FMEA; fishbone diagram; RPN. ABSTRACTA work accident is an unplanned and unwanted event or moment that can disrupt the production process or operation, but is likely to occur and cause losses. To reduce the impact or risk of accidents at CV CKS, researchers use a risk management that combines two tools, namely the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method and fishbone diagram. The FMEA method is used to identify all activities that are at risk of causing accidents and analyze their severity, while the fishbone diagram method is used to analyze the causes of accidents, which can then be identified which causes are prioritized and make corrective actions that can be taken to prevent or reduce the chances of occurrence. work accidents that will occur. From the calculation results, the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) value, which is 43.8, was obtained from the type of work accident with a finger pinched by a machine. The occurrence of work accidents can be minimized with proper handling, including strict supervision, handling appropriate work procedures, and reminding the importance of using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Keywords: work accidents; FMEA; fishbone diagram; RPN.

Abstract

One of the uses of IDEF0 is for modeling. This research makes modeling in the production process in the manufacturing industry, the automotive glass company. This company produces safety glass which is one component that is assembled in a car. The research aims to provide information about the use and understanding obtained from modeling using IDEF0. The results of the research show that the process of drawing the production process model which consists of cutting, printing, tempering and assembling is more comprehensive and clear. IDEF0 has provided an understanding of the production process, input, output, mechanism and control as well as more detailed and structured activities more easily.

Abstract

Increasing productivity is very important for companies to gain success in their business processes. This paper describes a case study of a manufacturing company that produces packaging products. PT BMJ is one of the companies engaged in the packaging industry. Low productivity and increased product demand for Offset machines becomes quite an important issue in the company, so that it becomes the objects of this research. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is one of the methods that can measure machine effectiveness with three assessment factors, namely: availability, performance, and quality. Measurement of the OEE value and analysis of six big losses are carried out as an effort to increase the OEE value of machines and improve the production system in the company. The root cause of the problem is identified by using a causal diagram to be able to provide several suggestions for improvements. Based on the results comparison of OEE value before and after the implementation of improvement on the Offset machine, these improvements can increase the OEE value by 7.13% in two month implementation. Although the increase in OEE has not yet reached the criteria for World Class OEE, the proposed improvement has been able to reduce six big losses and increase the value of OEE.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the effect of the work environment and rewards on employee performance at UKM Kue Balok in Bekasi Regency. This study targets all employees who work at UKM Kue Balok in Bekasi Regency, totaling 10 people. The data collected were analyzed using Descriptive Analysis of Respondents' Level of Achievement. The results showed that (1) the work environment affects performance, (2) rewards affect performance. (3) both have an effect on the performance of employees working at UKM Kue Balok in Bekasi Regency.

Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of the productivity of the buffing machine at PT. XYZ Cikarang, West Java. PT. XYZ is an industry that stands in the field of car body parts for four or more wheeled motor vehicles and industrial services for various special works of metal and metal goods. The method used in this research is Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The purpose of this study is to evaluate the condition of the buffing machine, which often occurs in damage which causes a decrease in machine productivity and production. As a result of these problems, it is necessary to repair machines which incur costs and the production process becomes constrained. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a method for measuring engine performance by taking into account the three important ratios, namely, Avaibility Rate, Performance Rate and Quality Rate. The results obtained from this study are the Avaibility Rate and Performance Rate values ​​are still below the standard they should be, namely the Avaibility Rate value of 61.36% and the Performance Rate value of 54.09%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari refiner time (waktu penggilingan ulang) terhadap kualitas tissue.Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data primer saat proses pembuatan tissue (handsheet).Waktu untuk LBKP (5,  10 dan 25) menit dan NBKP (10, 30 dan 40) menit. Masing-masing pulp dibuat sebanyak 2 buah. Kemudian dilakukan pengujian di Laboratorium QC dengan faktor pengujian yang menentukan kualitas tissue. Seperti:freeness(derajat giling), thickness(ketebalan), machine direction tensile(kekuatan), basisweight (berat), elongation (daya mulur) dan porosity(kerapatan serat). Hasil yang didapat jika semakin lama refiner time,maka (1) freeness akan semakin rendah, (2) thickness akan semakin tinggi, (3) measure direction tensile akan semakin tinggi, (4)elongation akan semakin tinggi dan (5) porosity akan semakin tinggi. Namun tidak akan memengaruhi nilai dari basis weight.

Abstract

PT Tri Jaya Teknik Karawang is one of the manufacturing companies engaged in the production of vehicle parts, because its main product is pivot piece. As for other forms of products produced by this company, such as Gongsol and Fuji Seat. This product research at PT Tri Jaya Teknik Karawang will be carried out on one type of Piece Pivot product, because this product is the company's main product, whose regular demand every month is always there and the amount is uncertain. This company has waste in the production line, namely the existence of product defects and lead times. This study aims to determine the types of waste and what factors occur in the production of pivot pieces at PT. Tri Jaya Engineering Karawang. By using the Lean Manufacturing method which begins with creating a Value Stream Mapping (VSM) then performs an analysis using the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) method. It is known that in the production of pivot pieces there are 3 types of waste identified, namely waiting time, unnecessary waste of inventory, and product defects. Proposed improvements to minimize waste in the production of pivot pieces are to carry out regular machine maintenance, create a production flow and provide warnings and evaluations of the performance of production operators.

Abstract

Products Degan SK 150 ml is a beverage product that is most in demand by consumers and is a coconut juice drink or nata. PT Prima Kemasindo always strives to maintain the quality of its products, especially the Degan SK 150 ml product. However, there are still products that do not meet the standards set by the company. This is because the company has not used a definite method to monitor the control limits for the level of product damage. Thus, this study aims to determine the limits of damage control and the level of damage that occurs, the factors that cause product damage and its consequences, as well as suggestions that can be given to improve product quality. The research method used is Statistical Quality Control (SQC) with p-chart, pareto diagrams, and fishbone diagrams. The result showed that the level of damage of Degan SK 150 ml product was beyond the control limit and there were five types of damage that often occurred during the January-March 2021 period caused by human factors, methods, and machines. Thus, there are seven proposed improvements given to the company in order to reduce the level of product damage.

Abstract

UMKM Bintang Jaya Gypsum adalah perusahaan mikro yang memproduksi furniture gypsum yang menerapkan sistem produksi make to order. Penelitian di UMKM ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis waktu dan jarak aliran proses produksi, serta pola aliran proses produksi yang dihubungkan dengan tata letak area kerja perusahaan. Analisis terhadap aliran proses produksi dilakukan dengan menggunakan peta aliran proses dan diagram aliran sehingga waktu, jarak, dan pola aliran proses produksi perusahaan dapaat diketahui. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa waktu dan jarak aliran proses produksi bernilai 20.75 meter dan 103.75 detik dengan pola aliran proses yang kurang baik karena tidak searah. Usulan perbaikan terhadap tata letak dilakukan oleh peneliti terhadap perusahaan dan menghasilkan perbaikan jarak dan waktu aliran proses produksi sebesar 7.25 meter dan 33.25 detik, serta perbaikan pola aliran proses proses menjadi lebih efisien dan searah sehingga memudahkan pekerja dalam melakukan proses transportasi dalam kegiatan produksi gypsum.
