Abstract

Abstract: Tourism is the economic-driving force leading sector in Katingan-Central Kalimantan, without exception. Due to the complexity of tourism sector, a good planning is required. This study was purposed (1) to describe the planning of tourism development area by the Katingan Department of Youth-Sport-Culture and Tourism; (2) to describe the supporting and constraining factors in the planning; and (3) to describe the effectiveness of planning. By a qualitative research, the results showed that the effectiveness of planning of tourism development area needs many improvements related to the planners and management. The synergy between the Katingan government, tourism players and private sectors to optimize the marketing and carrying capacity was needed. The supporting and constraining factors in developing Katingan tourism area were human resources and funding factors. Key words: planning; regional tourism; development Abstrak: Sektor pariwisata merupakan sektor unggulan penggerak perekonomian, tak terkecuali di Kabupaten Katingan Kalimantan Tengah. Mengingat kompleksitas sektor pariwisata, maka diperlukanlah perencanaan yang baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan dalam pengembangan wisata daerah yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Pemuda Olahraga Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Katingan, serta mendeskripsikan apa yang menjadi faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam perencanaan pengembangan wisata daerah dan juga mendeskripsikan efektivitas perencanaan. Dengan penelitian kualitatif, hasil menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan dalam pengembangan wisata daerah ditinjau dari efektivitas masih memerlukan banyak pembenahan dari segi pengelolaan dan sumberdaya manusia pengelolanya. Ditinjau dari segi perencanaan, sinergitas pemerintah daerah dan pelaku wisata harus ditingkatkan dan perlu dilakukan penggandengan pihak swasta untuk mengoptimalkan daya dukung dan pemasaran. Yang menjadi faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pengembangan wisata daerah di Kabupaten Katingan adalah sumberdaya manusia perencana dan faktor pendanaan. Abstract

Lack of learning tools is one of the obstacles that is often faced, especially the lack of training related to the curriculum and the minimal availability of teaching aids is a challenge for teachers in AUD units at this time. According to the Principal of PAUD Kasih Bunda, the teacher's teaching and learning process also tends to be monotonous so that learning success is less effective and efficient. In this digital era, it is not uncommon for parents to give AUD access to gadgets which actually have negative effects. The approach used is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. As a result of the implementation of community service carried out by the team, the following conclusions were obtained: 1) PAUD educators in Buntut Village, Bali still do not understand and implement quality early childhood education through 9 elements; 2) The strategy of teaching staff in designing, choosing methods, determining techniques and approaches to early childhood learning is very important for developing and honing children's logical thinking abilities. The method chosen must be creative, fun, free from pressure so that it is easy for students to apply.

Abstract

Pada pemilu 2019 lalu, politisasi agama masih terjadi dalam persaingan politik antara kedua pasangan calon presiden dan wakil presiden, mengakibatkan indeks kerukunan umat beragama Nasional mengalami penurunan drastis pada tahun 2020 pasca pemilihan umum (Indeks KUB 2017-2021). Dalam menghadapi pemilihan umum yang dijadwalkan pada tahun 2024 mendatang, terdapat berbagai tantangan dan risiko yang akan dihadapi, salah satunya ialah bahaya potensial dari polarisasi dan terjadinya friksi di dalam masyarakat yang muncul akibat politisasi agama, oleh sebab itu pemerintah selaku penyelenggara Negara memegang peranan penting dalam melakukan upaya pereventif agar mencegah terjadinya politik identitas kembali terjadi pada pemilu 2024 mendatang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebijakan yang ditetapkan dan diterapkan oleh pemerintah guna mencegah politisasi agama dalam menyongsong pemilihan umum tahun 2024 di Indonesia.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (Library research). Hasil penelitian ini mengungkap adanya penurunan indeks kerukunan umat beragama pada tahun 2020 pasca pemilu 2019, dan temuan lainnya mengungkap bahwa kebijakan pemerintah berupa regulasi sebenarnya sudah mengatur pelarangan terhadap diskriminasi terkait SARA. Namun, belum ada aturan yang mengatur secara eksplisit dan konkrit pelarangan terhadap tindak politisasi agama.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Christian Religious Education in the Character Education Strengthening Program to prevent bullying in class X at SMAN 4 Palangka Raya. Bullying remains a serious issue in Indonesian secondary schools, including social exclusion and verbal harassment. This study aims to describe the implementation of Christian Religious Education within the Character Education Strengthening Program, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and analyze its role in preventing bullying. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants consisted of a Christian Religious Education teacher, the Character Education Strengthening Program coordinator, and six tenth-grade students. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the implementation of Christian Religious Education within the Character Education Strengthening Program has been conducted effectively through worship activities, group prayers, Bible reading, reflection on God's Word, social activities, and teacher role modeling. Supporting factors included support from the school, parents, and a conducive environment, while inhibiting factors included limited time, the influence of social media, and low student awareness. Christian Religious Education plays an important role in fostering love, empathy, tolerance, and mutual respect, making it effective in preventing bullying behavior and contributing to creating a safe and character-based school environment.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the critical role of teachers as primary models in shaping children's disciplined character at school, particularly for children aged 4-5 years who are in a phase of spontaneous imitation. Observations at K4A class of Shining Kids School Palangka Raya revealed that the development of disciplined character was not yet optimal. Children struggled to wait for their turn, were unable to complete tasks on time, and left eating utensils at the dining area. These conditions indicate that children require teacher-led approaches and guidance. This study aims to describe the teacher's role in shaping the disciplined character of children aged 4-5 years in class K4A and to identify the factors influencing the formation of disciplined character at Shining Kids School Palangka Raya. This study utilized a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Information was gathered through observation, interviews, and documentary analysis. The research findings indicate that K4A teachers carry out their roles optimally through five aspects: (1) providing exemplary behavior characterized by responsibility, authority, independence, and discipline; (2) providing practice and guidance; (3) providing encouragement; (4) conducting assessments; and (5) designing lesson plans. Furthermore, the formation of disciplinary character is influenced by internal factors, including children's health and parenting styles, as well as external factors, such as the availability of school facilities (lockers, shoe racks, and sinks) and peer influence.
