Abstract

Field Experience Practices (PPL) in schools is carried out so that students train themselves before becoming real educators. However, what happens in the field is actually a lot of things that make students not maximal in mastering basic teaching skills. The data was obtained through observation and interviews with students. Some of the problems faced by PPL students are from themselves because they lack training and lack of confidence; student not ready to learn, do not ignore the arrival of students, late in class, do other activities, feel bored, and out of class when learning takes place; the time of learning that is not well controlled, subject is not mastered, as well as inadequate learning tools and media. Based on the problems they faced, students should be given special guidance with controlled exercises or microteaching, so that students can reduce errors that can occur when directly involved in the field.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media aways arthropoda equipped with pocket book and determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of arthropod-preserved equipped with pocket book developed. This research and development refers to the 4D development model which includes four stages, namely define, design, develop , and disseminate. The research instrument is a validation sheet to obtain product validity data, questionnaire responses of students to get practicality data products, as well as test items to get product effectiveness data. Based on the results of epert validator research, the level of validity of learning media aways arthropoda is in the valid category with an average value 3,45. Based on the results of the students response to the practicality level of learning media is on the category is very positive with an average total value 3,75. Based on the test results of the students learning media awetan arthropoda equipped with pocket book is categorized effevtive because is reaches  81,02%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan strategi Information Search and Answer Gallery (ISA-Gallery) terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar Biologi di SMAN 1 Kalukku, Kab.Mamuju.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen.Dengan desain non equivalen comparation design dengan dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket motivasi belajar dan tes hasil belajar, dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar biologi siswa yang diajar tanpa menerapkan strategi Information Search and Answer Gallery (ISA-Gallery) dan yang menerapkanstrategi ini sama-sama berada pada kategori sedang yaitu 66,67% dan 68,57%. Hasil belajar biologi yang menerapkan strategi ini berada pada kategori sangat baik (82%) dan yang tidak menerapkan strategi ini berada pada kategori baik (43%) dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05.Implikasi dari penelitian ini yaitu Strategi Information Search and Answer Gallery (ISA-Gallery) memerlukan waktu yang lama dalam pembelajaran.Untuk itu, jika guru di sekolah ingin menerapkan strategi ini, ada baiknya siswa dibagi dalam beberapa kelompok karena tidak semua siswa memahami langkah-langkah dari strategi ini sehingga waktu yang digunakan lebih efektif.Jika peneliti selanjutnya ingin mengembangkan penelitian ini, sebaiknya memperhatikan keterlaksanaan kompetensi dasar 4.3 yang ada pada RPP yang telah dibuat.
