Abstract

Pandemi koronavirus merupakan peristiwa menyebarnya penyakit koronavirus (Covid-19) di seluruh dunia. Tidak terkecuali Kabupaten Fakfak juga terdampak akan pandemi ini. Salah satu tim gugus tugas percepatan penanganan koronavirus desease 2019 Kabupaten Fakfak, dalam hal ini Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika, Statistik dan Persandian (Diskominfostaper) yang membidangi pemanfaatan teknologi informasi sebagai mitra membutuhkan langkah mudah dan efektif dalam melakukan sosialisasi dan memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat terkait protokol kesehatan selama pandemi karena strategi yang dijalankan saat ini masih belum sepenuhnya efektif. Selain itu mitra juga membutuhkan media yang dekat dengan masyarakat yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui update informasi seputar pandemi koronavirus. Berdasarkan pada persoalan yang dihadapi oleh mitra, kami memberikan solusi berupa perancangan dan pembangunan aplikasi berbasis ponsel cerdas yang dapat digunakan oleh mitra untuk melakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat terkait protocol kesehatan selama pandemi. Target luaran yang diharapkan melalui kegiatan ini adalah aplikasi ponsel cerdas (produk bidang ekonomi kreatif) yang dapat digunakan oleh mitra untuk melakukan sosialisasi dan edukasi kepada masyarakat umum. Produk ini nantinya akan dapat diunduh oleh masyarakat secara gratis dan mudah untuk digunakan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini secara umum meliputi; analisis kebutuhan mitra, perancangan, pembangunan dan publikasi aplikasi ponsel cerdas, melakukan sosialisasi aplikasi kepada mitra, dan penyebarluasan aplikasi kepada masyarakat umum melalui mitra. Aplikasi yang dihasilkan dan diserahkan kepada mitra berjalan sesuai fungsi dan tampilan yang telah dirancang dan diterima dengan baik oleh mitra serta siap digunakan dan disebarluaskan.

Abstract

Today's information systems are inseparable because they demand a company to create an integrated system that allows others to access the information they need from the company. The Student Activity Unit or UKM organization and the Departmental Student Association (HMJ) are two that are affected, making it simpler for students to obtain information, which is one of the most crucial requirements that must be met. Numerous student organizations are supervised by the Fakfak State Polytechnic and are grouped under the Student Activity Unit (UKM). Student activity units and major student associations at the Fakfak State Polytechnic currently do not have an integrated information system that explains management profiles, vision and mission, and work programs. This has an impact on the lack of information obtained by students and the public regarding UKM and HMJ at the Fakfak State Polytechnic. Therefore, efforts are needed to build and improve an information exchange system in the form of a website-based application for student activity units and departmental student associations that can manage information from each organization in an integrated manner to be able to overcome these problems. The information system that will be built and developed is a web-based application that makes it easier for users to access information and also acts as a promotional medium.

Abstract

The large and diverse quantity of scientific documents in the world, and specifically in Indonesia, makes the process of processing scientific document data an interesting study. One that represents the entire scientific document is through abstracts. The approach that can be done for the process of processing and grouping documents is to apply clustering. In this case, text-based clustering is currently heavily influenced by the feature representation of the text data used. Some popular representations of features are term frequency-inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) and count vectorizer, but they still have significant weaknesses in the context of understanding the meaning of natural language. To cover the drawbacks, it can use transformers or embedding types. In this study, several test scenarios will be carried out to obtain information and an overview of how to compare the effectiveness of the traditional TF-IDF model and the bidirectional encoder representations from transformers (BERT) and sentence bidirectional encoder representations from transformers (SBERT) embedding models in Indonesian-language scientific abstract clustering with several clustering models, such as k-means and agglomerative. The results of the study showed that the most effective clustering obtained was by using an embedding model of a combination of BERT and k-means, which was the most consistent with the most optimal number of clusters being 2 clusters.
