<![CDATA[ABSTRACT Nursing is a profession that is focused on caring for individual families and communities in restoring their health. This study aims to determine the relationship of nurse therapeutic communication with patient satisfaction in the adult Melur inpatient room at Ferdinand L Tobing Sibolga Hospital. The research design used is descriptive correlative with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study amounted to 88 people using the solving formula. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The data were analyzed using the Spartan rank test to determine the relationship between variables. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between nurse therapeutic communication and patient satisfaction (p = 0.003). From the research results, the majority of therapeutic communication is still lacking, patient satisfaction is still low and there is a relationship between nurse therapeutic communication and patient satisfaction. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan komunikasi terapeutik perawat dengan kepuasan pasien di ruang rawat inap Melur dewasa RSUD Ferdinand L Tobing Sibolga. Desain Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional . Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 88 orang menggunakan rumus slovin. Tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji rank sparman untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variable. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya hubungan komunikasi terapeutik perawat dengan kepuasan pasien (p= 0,003 ). Dari hasil penelitian mayoritas komunikasi terapeutiknya masih kurang, dan kepuasan pasien masih rendah serta terdapat hubungan antara komunikasi terapeutik perawat dengan kepuasan pasien.
