Abstract

Along with the development of technology and information today, data security is a problem that needs to be done to maintain the confidentiality of data or information both personally and within an organization. Cryptography is one of the sciences or arts that learns about how to secure data or information from irresponsible parties who want to destroy important data in the form of text and image files. This research, data security technique uses two algorithms, namely steganography to enter text in image media using LSB (Least Significant Bit) method and Binary XOR used to convert messages to binary with XOR keywords and generate pixel values of messages from 8 bits of images with LSB (Least Significant Bit). After encrypted the image will be sent to the user, and to view the original data, the user must decrypt the data with the message key and retrieve the LSB (Least Significant Bit) value, from the encrypted image.

Abstract

One of the junior high schools in West Sumba is SMP N 5 Loli. The study period here lasts for 3 years, like other schools in Indonesia. Based on findings from interviews conducted at SMPN 5 Loli, alumni tracing will be done by sending letters to students to answer questions with their signatures. Tracking or tracing alumni is one of the methods used by some schools in Indonesia to get answers from their graduates. The answers obtained from the graduates are very important for the school in their efforts to improve and enhance the quality and education system. Therefore, an internet-based system will be developed that allows alumni to access information via the internet using mobile phones, gadgets, laptops, or other devices according to their wishes and needs. The system also has the ability to store existing alumni search data and automatically generate reports containing the percentage of alumni responses so that administrators can compile alumni search reports without having to re-enter or move the search data to another system. The method used by the author in modeling this system is waterfall. Waterfall is one of the simple system development methods consisting of 5 stages: software requirements analysis, system design, system implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system testing used in the research on modeling this system is Black Box. Based on the research results and discussion, it can be concluded that this research produces a model of the alumni tracer study system and the system can display alumni data based on the year of the alumni batch.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology allows society to access various information needed in daily life. The Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2006 concerning population administration serves as an important element in population management. Population documents are issued by official institutions and have legal legitimacy as valid evidence. The method used in this research regarding public sentiment towards e-ID card services is the survey method, which aims to collect data from a large population using a smaller sample. The steps or processes in this research using the SVM method consist of case folding, cleaning, tokenizing, normalization, stopword removal, and stemming. Based on the classification of 150 test data using SVM, the number of positive sentiments recorded is 110 opinions, while negative sentiments recorded are 40 opinions.

Abstract

The Final Project is an official work that consists of a thesis or an artwork, which is the result of research or scientific creation by students, conducted through a series of steps and procedures in accordance with the Final Project (TA) guidelines set by each faculty. One strategy to encourage students to complete their studies as quickly as possible is to require students who are working on their Final Project (TA) to attend campus at least once a week to report on their progress while bringing their Final Project guidance card. Interviews are conducted with students to find a supervising lecturer, students hold proposal guidance, after which the proposal is validated, students then register for the proposal seminar, students conduct the proposal seminar, a decree (SK) is issued, students continue with Final Project guidance, the documentation of the Final Project is validated, students register for the results seminar and final defense, as well as students undergoing plagiarism checks. This is due to the lack of application platforms that can monitor students' completion of their final projects online. Therefore, research on an information system application to supervise students' final projects is very much needed.
