Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the improvement of learning outcomes in fisika zat padat subject. The research method was quasi experimental with one group pre-test-post-test design. The population was all of students in physics study program semester VII STKIP Tapanuli Selatan totalling 25 students and and all of population became sample in this research. The technique of sampling was total sampling. Based on the data tabulation obtained the actual average gain for implementing of Mind Mapping method in improving learning outcomes was 39.05 where the normalized gain for implementation of Mind Mapping method to learning outcomes was 0,391, it was included in medium category. Based on the obtained results can be concluded that Implementation of Mind Maping method in fisika zat padat subject was included in medium category to improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to know whether there is significant effect of Newton II law mastery to students’ achievement in momentum of the XI grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Saipar Dolok Hole. The population of this research is all of XI grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Saipar Dolok Hole, consist of 2 classes, it is 75 students. Sample of this research is 35 students, taken by using cluster sampling. The data was analyzed by two steps, the first step by descriptive analysis to see the description of both variables, and the second step by using inferential analysis by using . Based on the calculation, the mean of the Students’ Newton II law mastery is 70,60. It is good category. Then the mean of the students’ achievement in momentum is 67,60. It is enough category. Based on the calculation in inferential analysis, it is found that is 47,47 and if it is compared to in 5% significant, it is found 1,69. After comparing and , it is got that is greater than (47,47 > 1,69). The hypothesis is accepted. Means that there is significant effect of Newton II law mastery to students’ achievement in momentum of the XI grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Saipar Dolok Hole.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine a general idea of mastering the law of conservation of mechanical energy and fluid mechanics, and then I see the influence of the law of conservation of mechanical energy mastery of the learning outcomes of the subject matter of physics of fluid mechanics in class XI of SMAN 8 Padangsidimpuan. The research was conducted using descriptive method.The population is all class XI student are 45 students. The sample is 45 students which are taken by total sampling technique. The data is collected by using test as an instrument. The writer uses statistic processes in analyzing data. They are descriptive analysis and inferential analysis by using the formula of “r” Product Moment and the formula of t test. After collecting the data, it is found the average of mastering the law of conservation of mechanical energy,can be categorized “pretty” .While the average value of the subject matter of physics learning outcomes of fluid mechanics 68.17 can be categorized “pretty”. The result of the analyzed data shows the score of ttest > ttable (2,0 > 1,67) . in other words, the score of ttest is bigger than ttable. So, the hypothesis is accepted. It means there is the influence of the law of conservation of mechanical energy mastery of the learning outcomes of the subject matter of physics of fluid mechanics in class XI of SMAN 8 Padangsidimpuan

Abstract

The aim of this research was to know whether there was a significant influence between measurement mastery on students achievement in newton’s law II about motion subject at tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan. The population of thes research was all the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan which include 6 classes or 100 students. By applying random sampling technique, the writer took the sample 59 students. In collecting the data, the writer used test. Based on the result of this research, measurement mastery had the average 77, it was categorized “good”. While the students achievement in newton law II of motion had the average 72, it was categorized “good”. Based on statistics analysis calcution, it could be gotten that tcount on 9,7, in error level significant 5% confidence level significan 95%, df = N – 2 = 57, it could be gotten that ttable =1,675. It could be seen that ttabel was greater ttable (9,7> 1.675). The alternative hypothesis was accepted. It means that there was a significant influence between measurement mastery on students achievent in Newton law II of motion subject at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan. The better measurement mastery the better students achievenment in Newtons law II of motion at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to know whether there was any significant difference between using Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model and Jigsaw model in vektor subject at tenth grade students of MAN Sipirok. The approach of this research was experimental method. Sample of this research was 63 students. Data was collected by using test and observation. Based on descriptive analysis, the average of using TGT model was 3.75, it was categorized “very good” while the average of using Jigsaw model was 3.66, it was categorized “very good”. The average of vektor subject by using TGT model was 85, it was categorized “good” while the average of vektor subject by using Jigsaw model was 78.33, it was categorized “enough”. Based on statistic inferential analysis by ttest formula to test hypothesis, it could be gotten tcount = 3.182 and ttable = 1.670 at error level 5%. It can be seen that tcount is greater than ttable (3.182<1.670). It means alternative hypothesis was accepted. In the other words, there was any significant difference between using Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model and Jigsaw model in vektor subject at tenth grade students of MAN Sipirok.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to know wheater there was a significant influence of using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on students’ achievement in heat subject at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri . The approach of this research was experimental method. Population of this reseacrh was all the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri which include 128 students or 3 classes. The sampling technique was random technique sampling, so the sample was 42 students. In collecting the data, the writer used test and questionnaire. The data was analyzed two ways. They are descriptive analysis and inferential statistics. Based on the descriptive analysis, the average of using CTL model in heat was 2.88, it was categorized “good”. Students’ achievement in heat subject before using CTL model had score 65.6, it was categorized “enough”. Students’ achievement in heat subject after using CTL model had score 72,2 it was categorized “good”. Based on statistics inferential statistic, it could be gotten that tcount=7.45 significant error level 5%, significant confidence level 95%, df = N – 2 = 42-2 = 40, it could be found that ttable= 1.68. It could be seen that tcount was graeter ttable (7.45 >1.68). It means, the alternative hypothesis was accepted. In the other words, there was a significant influence of using CTL model on students’ achievement in heat subject at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri.
