Abstract

This research is descriptive. Subjects were Nursing student of Polytechnic Of Health Ministry Surabaya using simple random sampling. Variable study was the incidence of premenstrual syndrome. Instruments used checklist PMS. The results showed that the entire student experience PMS symptoms with varying degrees of severity are not the same. Minor complaints on symptoms: breast pain (60%), Hard concentration (50%) and Insomnia (40%). Complaints are the symptoms: Joint pain / muscle and sudden mood changes (80%), Irritability (60%), abdominal cramps (40%). Complaints weight on symptoms: headache (40%) and flatulence (30%). The onset of these symptoms are caused due to consumption of calcium and magnesium mahasisiwi not fulfilled the needs of the appropriate RDA (calcium = 1000mg / hr; magnesium 200mg / hr). Mostly (60%) only consume calcium 200-300 mg / hr, and no student who consume magnesium. Students who have PMS to record her menstrual period for 3 months when the symptoms are felt natural. Abstract

Menarche is a sign In which a young woman who grew up Influenced by several factors, one of whichis nutrition. This study alms to determine the correlation between fat Intake and nutritional status. and age of menarche In elementary school. This study used a cross-sectional study design with asample of 15 female students. Research subjects were interviewed with the SQ-FFQ and Remember2x24hours and had anthropometric (height and weight) were measured.Data were analyzed by Spearman test with a = 0.05. The results showed that 80% of respondentsaged 11 years and 73.3% of respondents experienced a precocious menarche. fat consumption from53.3% of respondents were excessive. WeIght growth Indicator based on student respondents BMI/ Age was obese (SO 1.07). The high growth seen with Indicator High / normal Age (SO 0.24).From bivariate analYSis using Spearman correlation statIstical test showed that there Is a relationshipbetween fat consumption at the age of menarche in 5th grade female students of SON KertajayaSurabaya who had menarche, It shows In the data analysiS with p value of O.009 (p 0. OS) and therewas a relationship between nutritional status and age at menarche in 5th grade student of SONKertajaya Surabaya who had menarche, revealed by data analysiS with p value of 0.001 (p 0.05).Keywords: menarche, nutritional status, level of fat consumption, age of menarche

Abstract

Abstract Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by increased levels of sugar in the blood. Knowledge about Diabetes Mellitus is fundamental in efforts to handle diabetes mellitus and can affect people's behavior in their lifestyle and activities. The purpose of this study is to determine public knowledge and factors related to public knowledge about Diabetes Mellitus in the working area of Pucang Sewu health center Surabaya. Method: Analytical descriptive research with a sample of 110 people. Data collection using interview method using questionnaire, descriptive and analytical data analysis using Q-Square test. Results: The results showed 39.1% had less knowledge, 16.4% had good knowledge, and 44.5% had enough knowledge. There was a significant relationship between the level of education and public knowledge about diabetes mellitus and there was no significant relationship between gender, age and occupation with public knowledge about diabetes mellitus. Conclusion: Almost half of the people in the working area of Pucang Sewu health center in Surabaya have less knowledge about Diabetes Mellitus, the level of education is related to public knowledge about diabetes mellitus, while the factors of gender, age and occupation are not related to public knowledge about diabetes mellitus. Recommendation: The need to involve various parties including the community in increasing knowledge about diabetes mellitus by using various methods and paying attention to the age, gender and work of the community.

Abstract

Stunting is form failure growth consequence accumulation absence moderately long lasting nutrition starts from pregnancy until 24 months old , one of the problem nutritional problems suffered by toddlers that is stunting g which is condition short body or very short that occurs consequence lack nutrition and disease repetitive in long time in the fetus up to 2 years First life a child . Indicators used For identify stunting toddlers are based on Height index according to age (TB/A) according to WHO child growth standards with criteria stunting If z score TB/A < -2 Standard Deviation (SD) Period 0- 24 months is the defining period quality life so that called with period gold . This is a research analytic with approach cross sectional analysis with the chi square statistical test. The sampling technique sample that is use technique purposive sampling with amount sample of 62 respondents. Statistical test using the chi-square test with mark significant p = 0,1. Results research p value = 0.000 for variable nutritional status history Mother moment pregnant with risk the occurrence of stunting and p value = 0.000 for Maternal age with risk the occurrence of significant stunting that there is connection nutritional status history Mother moment pregnant and maternal age with risk the occurrence of stunting. Conclusion: There is connection between nutritional status Mother moment pregnant , Maternal age with risk the occurrence of stunting in toddlers age 24-59 months in The Batuan Public Health Center Area. It is expected health center more optimizing the counseling about importance married at the right age.
