Abstract

ABSTRACTOne of the changes that occur due to the process of pregnancy in pregnant women is hematological changes such as a decrease in hemoglobin levels in pregnant women caused by the process of hemodilution with a volume of 30-40% during pregnancy and ending at week 32-44 of gestational age So that it requires special attention in fulfilling nutritional intake, because if it is not fulfilled it will be able to cause a decrease in hemoglobin levels and cause anemia The purpose of the study was to determine whether there was an effect of giving  bean juice to prevent anemia in pregnant women. This research method is Pre-experiment with Quasi experimental design method, namely two group pretest - postest. The sampling technique is a purposive sample of 22 people with the inclusion criteria set, the intervention given in accordance with the SOP and the Hb level is measu with an easy touch tool. Data analysis consisted of bivariate with pai sample t-test. And the results of the study with a Pvalue of 0.000 < (0.05), it was concluded that there was a difference in the increase in haemoglobin levels in the experimental group. And there is a significant difference in  bean juice on the increase in haemoglobin levels with a Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 is smaller than alpha 0.05 (p<α 0.05).

Abstract

Permasalahan gizi di Indonesia merupakan salah satu persoalan utama dalam pembangunan manusia. salah satu permasalahannya adalah kurangnya pemenuhan gizi pada bayi disebabkan kurangnya pemberian ASI. United Nation Childrens Fund (UNICEF) dan World Health Organization (WHO) merekomendasikan sebaiknya anak hanya disusui ASI selama paling sedikit enam bulan. ASI mengandung semua nutrisi yang dibutuhkan bayi dalam enam bulan pertama kehidupannya. Banyak Wanita dapat merasakan payudaranya terperas saat menyusui, itu menunjukkan bahwa ASI mulai mengalir dari alveoli ke ductus latiferous namun tidak semua ibu postpartum langsung mengeluarkan ASI. Untuk merangsang pengeluaran hormon prolaktin dan oksitosin di Indonesia ada banyak jenis metode yang dapat dijadikan pilihan bagi ibu yang mengalami masalah selama menyusui, seperti pijat oksitosin, pijat prolaktin, pijat marmet, perawatan payudara dan lain sebagainya. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas perawatan payudara dengan tehnik pijat oketani terhadap kelancaran produksi ASI. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian one groups pretest—posttest design. Sampel penelitian dijadikan sebagai accidental sampling sebanyak 16 orang. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ada perbedaan produksi ASI yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah pijat oketani diperoleh nilai p value sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh pijat oketani tehadap kelancaran produksi ASI.

Abstract

Introduction: Lower back pain often makes mothers feel disturbed by the pain that arises due to lower back pain. The pain experienced by every third trimester pregnant woman who experiences lower back pain is different. Ideally, complaints of lower back pain during pregnancy occur due to anatomical changes in the body due to the increase in the size of the fetus in the uterus. Method: This research uses a Quasi Experimental design with a pre test and post test approach. The population is third trimester pregnant women in the Medan Tuntungan health center working area. The sample was 11 pregnant women in the second trimester using a numerical rating scale instrument. Data analysis was carried out using the Paired t-test statistical test to test differences before and after intervention. Result: The intervention resulted in back pain in pregnant women with an average value of 4.82 and after the intervention was given, it showed a decrease in back pain in pregnant women with an average value of 2.55. Conclusion: There is an effect of giving clove oil on back pain in pregnant women with a statistical test result of p-value 0.000 (<0.05), meaning there is a significant reduction in the intervention that has been carried out.

Abstract

Introduction: Poor sleep quality—characterized by frequent awakenings and difficulty falling asleep—impacts the body's balance. It entails physiological and psychological consequences such as fatigue, elevated blood pressure, anxiety, and reduced physical and emotional activity. Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach. The study population consisted of elderly individuals within the working area of ​​the Medan Tuntungan Community Health Center. A sample of 34 elderly participants was assessed using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Data analysis was conducted using the paired t-test to examine differences before and after the intervention. Results: The findings indicate that the elderly participants' sleep quality was poor prior to the ergonomic exercise intervention (mean score: 13.21) and improved to a good level following the intervention (mean score: 5.35). Conclusion: Statistical analysis yielded a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating that ergonomic exercise has a significant effect on sleep quality among the elderly.
