Abstract

The recent real challenges of semantic technology is not in the core of the technology but much more in implementing the semantic technology in the real problem. The common domain in any world is economics. One of the most important domain in economics is marketing. Company moreover small company from developing country desperated in increasing to make their company's product are known wider, around the world as well. Product from developing countries usually has a good quality, unique and cheaper but lack to be known. This paper present idea how semantic technology will give a benefit in marketing strategies for business in developing countries. The short goal is how the common famous search engine will be more understand the company both product and profile, thus present those information in better form and possible to the next processing in the others semantic technology.

Abstract

Covid 19 sangat berdampak luas pada berbagai sektor, diantaranya adalah sektor pendidikan. Guru dituntut untuk memastikan proses belajar mengajar berjalan dengan baik, walaupun murid berada pada rumah masing-masing. Salah satu metode yang digunakan Guru adalah Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) lewat media online. Kondisi ini menimbulkan permasalahan yaitu PJJ belum efektif dan maksimal jika di implementasikan pada sekolah yang infrastukturnya belum memadai. Permasalahan tersebut juga di alami oleh para guru di SMPN 2 Surakarta. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut tim pengabdi memberikan solusi yaitu implementasi Google suite for education (GSE) dengan memanfaatkan akun belajar.id yang telah diluncurkan oleh Kemendikbud RI. GSE adalah paket layanan Google berbasis cloud yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan manajemen institusi berbasis email Gmail yang sekaligus dapat di akses dengan aplikasi mobile. GSE memiliki fasilitas online learning management system yaitu google classroom. Penyelesaian masalah dilakukan melalui dukungan teknologi dan dukungan manajemen. Dukungan teknologi yang berikan melalui implementasi dan pendampingan pemanfaatan teknologi GSE melalui akun belajar.id yang akan digunakan para guru dalam proses belajar mengajar. Dukungan dari sisi manajemen berupa pengetahuan pada para guru dan murid terkait dengan aktifasi email dan pengetahuan tentang aplikasi yang dimiliki oleh GSE seperti : Google Form, Google Meet Google Docs, Google Sheet , dan Google Drive untuk menunjang proses belajar mengajar secara online/daring.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has a major impact on the education sector. Educators are necessarily assisted to ensure that the educational process can run well in any foreseen condition. Technology-based learning can be seen as a solution to this problem at SMP Negeri 5 Surakarta (SMPN 5 Surakarta) in these regards. However, the use of technology needs to be decided carefully to minimize any disadvantageous. SMPN 5 Surakarta has been facilitated with Google Suite for Education (GSE)-based services with an integration into the nation-wide @belajar.id platform. Furthermore, the Community Service Team for Research Group Data Information Knowledge and Engineering (PkM RG DIKE Team) UNS mandated a training on how to fully implement the platform. As this program was aimed at establishing a sustainable partnership with the community, we hope that SMPN 5 Surakarta can further promote the obtained experience from the PkM DIKE UNS Team to the surrounding regions. Abstrak Dampak pandemi COVID-19 tidak hanya dirasakan oleh siswa, tetapi juga para pendidik. Pendidik tentu berkewajiban agar proses pendidikan dapat berjalan dengan baik pada berbagai kondisi. Pembelajaran berbasis teknologi bisa menjadi solusi permasalahan ini di SMP Negeri 5 Surakarta. Namun, pemilihan teknologi yang tepat perlu dilakukan karena dapat berakibat kekurang-optimalan dalam proses pembelajaran. Pada layanan teknologi ini, sekolah bisa dengan mudah melakukan menggunakan layanan berbasis Google Suite for Education (GSE) yang telah terintegrasi ke platform @belajar.id. Selanjutnya, Tim Pengabdi kepada Masyarakat Research Group Data Information Knowledge and Engineering (Tim PkM RG DIKE) UNS memberikan pelatihan tentang cara penggunaan platform tersebut. Agar program ini dapat memberikan keberlanjutan dari program kemitraan bersama masyarakat, kami berharap bahwa pihak SMP Negeri 5 Surakarta bisa menyebarkan keterampilan yang didapat dari TIM PkM DIKE UNS kepada para pendidik di sekitar Surakarta.

Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat pada kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh maraknya perundungan siswa di sekolah. Hal ini perlu dilakukan pencegahan. Pengawasan guru dan entitas sekolah menjadi kritis untuk aktivitas pencegahan tersebut. Akan tetapi, guru dan entitas sekolah memiliki keterbatasan jangkauan untuk mengawasi seluruh area lingkungan sekolah. Dengan demikian, dukungan teknologi Smart Camera berbasis Internet of Thing (IoT) berpotensi mendukung aktivitas pengawasan lingkungan sekolah untuk mencegah terjadinya perundungan di sekolah. Pada kegiatan ini, teknologi tersebut diterapkan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri 2 Surakarta. Penerapannya dilakukan dengan instalasi smart camera di ruang kelas dan beberapa area tersembunyi seperti lorong, tempat parkir, belakang kantin, dan lain-lain yang mana lokasi-lokasi tersebut berpotensi menjadi tempat perundungan siswa. Penerapan teknologi dibarengi dengan sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada para guru dan entitasnya mengenai penggunaan dan perwatan teknologi tersebut. Teknologi ini telah berhasil diaplikasikan di SMP Negeri 2 Surakarta dan berpotensi untuk diterapkan di sekolah lainnya.

Abstract

The detection of X-rating content on the Internet is still rarely done in Indonesia and the performance of the existing work to detect X-rating content, especially in video is still low. The largest video portal, YouTube, does not yet have automatic X-rating content detection through its content either. Some X-rating content prevention service providers in Indonesia, such as the Internet Positive and Nawala Project, detect X-rating content using the keyword detection method of a web page and then block the web page with DNS filtering. However, that method does not pay attention to using  Bahasa-Slang. This work developed Metasearch named Safedio. Safedio aims to detect X-rating content on YouTube content through video titles that contain Bahasa-Slang. Safedio utilizes Query Expansion and Rule-Based approaches. The Query Expansion is a technique to get additional rules in search. In the end, Safedio can detect X-rating content through video titles in both Bahasa and Bahasa-Slang. The average results return with precision 71%, recall 46% and accuracy 72%.

Abstract

The current researches on question answer usually achieve the answer only from unstructured text resources such as collection of news or pages. According to our observation from Yahoo!Answer, users sometimes ask in complex natural language questions which contain structured and unstructured features. Generally, answering the complex questions needs to consider not only unstructured but also structured resource. In this work, researcher propose a new idea to improve accuracy of the answers of complex questions by recognizing the structured and unstructured features of questions and them in the web. Our framework consists of three parts: Question Analysis, Resource Discovery, and Analysis of The Relevant Answer. In Question Analysis researcher used a few assumptions and tried to find structured and unstructured features of the questions. In the resource discovery researcher integrated structured data (relational database) and unstructured data (web page) to take the advantage of two kinds of data to improve and to get the correct answers. We can find the best top fragments from context of the relevant web pages in the Relevant Answer part and then researcher made a score matching between the result from structured data and unstructured data, then finally researcher used QA template to reformulate the questions. Penelitian yang ada pada saat ini mengenai Question Answer (QA) biasanya mendapatkan jawaban dari sumber teks yang tidak terstruktur seperti kumpulan berita atau halaman. Sesuai dengan observasi peneliti dari pengguna Yahoo!Answer, biasanya mereka bertanya dalam natural language yang sangat kompleks di mana mengandung bentuk yang terstruktur dan tidak terstruktur. Secara umum, menjawab pertanyaan yang kompleks membutuhkan pertimbangan yang tidak hanya sumber tidak terstruktur tetapi juga sumber yang terstruktur. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti mengajukan suatu ide baru untuk meningkatkan keakuratan dari jawaban pertanyaan yang kompleks dengan mengenali bentuk terstruktur dan tidak terstruktur dan mengintegrasikan keduanya di web. Framework yang digunakan terdiri dari tiga bagian: Question Analysis, Resource Discovery, dan Analysis of The Relevant Answer. Pada Question Analysis peneliti menggunakan beberapa asumsi dan mencoba mencari bentuk data yang terstruktur dan tidak terstruktur. Dalam penemuan sumber daya, peneliti mengintegrasikan data terstruktur (relational database) dan data tidak terstruktur (halaman web) untuk mengambil keuntungan dari dua jenis data untuk meningkatkan dan untuk mencapai jawaban yang benar. Peneliti dapat menemukan fragmen atas terbaik dari konteks halaman web pada bagian Relevant Answer dan kemudian peneliti membuat pencocoka skor antara hasil dari data terstruktur dan data tidak terstruktur. Terakhir peneliti menggunakan template QA untuk merumuskan pertanyaan.

Abstract

The number of people with autism in Indonesia increases by 0.15% or 6,900 children per year. One of the actions that can be done to overcome developmental disorders of children with autism is to do Feingold and Failsafe Diet, Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD diet), and Casein-Free Gluten Free diet (CFGF diet) on foodstuffs given to children with autism. There is a need for socialization and presentation of information regarding the regulation of food items given to children with autism. Currently, there is no presentation of information in the form of mobile-based applications as a forum for parents to exchange information, especially those that utilize semantic technology. By utilizing semantic technology, the Food For Autism (FoFA) application was created to share knowledge for users related to food and beverage diet menus for children with autism. The test results show that the application of FoFA can apply semantic technology related to diet and food diets for children with autism.

Abstract

The growth of fake news has emerged as a substantial societal concern, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fake news can lead to unwarranted panic, misinformed decisions, and a general state of confusion among the public. Existing methods to detect and filter out fake news have accuracy, speed, and data distribution limitations. This study explores a fast and reliable approach based on Naïve Bayes algorithms for fake news detection on COVID-19 news in social networks. The study used a dataset of 10,700 tweets and applied text pre-processing, term-weighting, document frequency thresholding (DFT), and synthetic minority oversampling techniques (SMOTE) to prepare the data for classification. The study assessed the performance and runtime of four models: gradient boosting (GDBT), decision tree (DT), multinomial Naïve Bayes (MNB), and complement Naïve Bayes (CNB). The testing results showed that the CNB model reaches the highest accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score of approximately 92% each, with the shortest runtime of 0.55 seconds. This study highlights the potential of the CNB model as an effective tool for detecting online fake news about COVID-19, given its superior performance and rapid processing time.

Abstract

The development of knowledge and technology significantly impacts literacy skills, essential for academic growth and school adaptation. Technology literacy is crucial for awareness and academic support, but a lack of technological knowledge can hinder education. To address this, the Indonesian government introduced the belajar.id platform, integrating Google Suite for Education (GSuite) to aid academic activities during the pandemic. Challenges like limited teacher-student interaction persist, necessitating the encouragement of electronic media and diverse educational material availability. They aimed to bridge teaching gaps, enhance technological skills, and ensure effective knowledge sharing, using participatory rural appraisal (PRA). The team of Research Group Data Information Knowledge and Engineering (RG DIKE) at the Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta conducted a study on technology literacy's importance for students in SMP Negeri 2 Jaten Karanganyar. It emphasized technology's role in disaster management and prevention, striving for a strategic approach to technology-based education. Training sessions were conducted on August 15 and October 26, 2023, focused on belajar.id, GSE, and OBS integration. Teachers played a key role in guiding and updating their GSE and OBS knowledge. In summary, these sessions aimed to equip teachers and students with vital GSE and OBS skills, enhancing education quality and learning outcomes.
