Motorcycle parking area in the Faculty of Engineering UNS is 2895 m2 which is divided into 5 sectors. Problems arising in the parking lot as follows: irregular parking position, the distance between motorcycles too close, the user is difficult to remove a motorcycle, and motorcycles parked carelessly in the parking circulation path. To overcome this problem parking needs to be designed parking pattern using participatory ergonomic approach. The results showed that the optimal parking pattern in terms of capacity is a parking pattern with 900 angles. Parking patterns with 900 angle can accommodate 1046 motorcycle.

Implementation of ergonomics is generally a design or redesign. One of them may include the design of the physical work environment. Ergonomic work environment conditions are provide comfort and security for workers. Physical environmental factors that can affect the comfort and safety of noise level. A good physical work environment will increase work capability or labor productivity. In a work environment, workload assessment can also be carried out to measure worker conformity and comfort. Workload assessment is carried out simultaneously with measurement of noise level . Whose problematic noise, the industry is located in Tawangsari RT 03 RW 34 Mojosongo, Jebres, Surakarta named Yessy's Collection. Measurement of noise level to improve worker comfort, so that productivity increases. The methode used is measurement using 4 in 1 Environment on sound level meter function illustrated with Software Surfer 11. The noise level measurement results are below the specified threshold value except at 1 coordinate in swabing station (stasiun penyesekan),that is at above threshold value. Procurement activities of raw materials is one of the vital activity for the company. PT Solo Grafika Utama is one of the companies that rely heavily on this procurement activity for a smooth production. Until now PT Solo Grafika Utama has been working with several suppliers in the procurement of raw materials production. However, in practice, these activities often experience problems such late delivery by suppliers for various things. As a result of delays in the procurement materials makes the production process is hampered or delayed, so the time that required for production process exceeded the production schedule planning that has been set before. This resulted in the delivery of products to consumers experienced delays and it makes them are not satisfied with the performance of the company. Therefore we need an analysis to determine the factors that cause the delay. Once the cause is known, we need a follow-up analysis in order for the supplier selection decision making process of PT Solo Grafika Utama using ANP method. Supplier selection decision-making process of the raw materials in PT. Solo Grafika Utama involves many criteria and sub-criteria assessment which is then compared and processed to obtain the supplier with the highest value and become preferred suppliers for the company.

Library with good environment will create comfort, calmness, and satisfaction for users while doing the activities. One of the aspects to consider in creating a good library environment is lighting. Lighting needs can be met from day lighting and artificial lighting. Artificial lighting had advantage in terms of relatively constant light intensity in the range of work hours, but this approach requires electric operating costs. This research analyzes the current lighting conditions in Sebelas Maret University library that influenced by day lighting and artificial lighting. The analysis process will be using software surfer V.10 based on the value of the intensity of light at each measuring point. The result indicated that the average of light intensity is still below the prescribed standard so that redesign needs to be done. In the redesign process only focuses on the artificial lighting that calculated using lumen method with two different conditions.

Limited space in apartment force the resident to use their space effectively and efficiently. The resident need a furniture that can save the space and easy to be move. Furthermore, the furniture’s material has to be eco-friendly in order to make a better environment for the future generation. One of the common furniture is chair. Based on survey of 20 apartment resident in Jakarta, the resident stated 12 feature of chair: easy to move (15%); eco-friendly material (35%); foldable (25%), hangable (15%), simple (30%), storage (30%), space-saving (35%), durable (10%), multifunction (25%), comfortable (50%), provide backrest (10%), and aesthetic (5%). These costumer statements have generate 4 design concept that can fulfil the requirements. First concept is a storage chair with HDPE material. Second concept is a storage chair with plywood material. Third concept is an easy-saving chair with HDPE material. Fourth concept is an easy-saving chair with plywood material.

IKM Tahu Sari Murni Mojosongo adalah industri tahu yang sedang berkembang di Surakarta. Proses produksi di IKM Tahu ini belum menerapkan standar Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) yang dikeluarkan oleh BPOM (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan) dan belum memperhatikan keselamatan kerja karyawan seperti dalam pedoman Work Improvement In Small Enterprise (WISE). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil evaluasi kondisi aktual dengan pedoman GMP dan WISE masih banyak ditemukan penyimpangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perbaikan proses produksi di IKM yang dievaluasi menggunakan daftar periksa GMP-WISE. Daftar periksa GMP-WISE yang diperoleh memiliki 6 kriteria yaitu penyimpanan dan penanganan material/peralatan, desain tempat kerja, fasilitas kesejahteraan, organisasi pekerjaan, pengendalian proses produksi, dan program higiene dan sanitasi. Penilaian daftar periksa tersebut diperkuat dengan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk mendapatkan keputusan terbaik dari sejumlah kriteria pada daftar periksa GMP-WISE. Hasil dari penilaian menunjukkan bahwa kriteria program higiene dan sanitasi di IKM merupakan prioritas perbaikan proses produksi. Usulan yang diberikan untuk perbaikan proses produksi di IKM adalah perancangan peraturan rutin karyawan produksi dan perancangan Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) kebersihan area kerja.
