Abstract

In numerical control, there are five reference angle points in machining workpart surface that be done at the time of determining zero setting of cartesian scale. This process can be classified as surface milling work and cylinder milling work. In generally, workpart machining processes begin using flat end-cutter tools that is fixed with wide of surface machining like make simple of clamp direction with drive surface on reference points and check surface on processing plan of workpart geometric. This paper use two approaches based on geometric differential and analytical theory, namely (a) left hand offset or G54 and (b) right hand offset or G55 from reference angle points of workpart on drive surface. this application describes how to make tools exchange algortihm on CNC milling programming based on final point of tools at workpart machining processes

Abstract

Observations made at work stations of  batik cap production, there are still some working conditions that are not appropriate on their worker, one of which is unnatural posture. Unusual work postures that can trigger the occurrence of pain complaints such as musculoskeletal disorders (musculoskeletal disorders). Often unwittingly, batik workers work with positions or postures that have health risks such as musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Based on the observation seen that at the work station batik production there are some problems related work methods. Therefore, to improve which work station needs to be repaired, it is necessary to do risk assessment of batik production station work posture using Visual Management approach.                    The Visual Management approach in this study uses the ergonomic analysis method for the whole body of REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) and OWAS (Ovako Working Posture Analysis System), upper limb RULA (Rapid Upper limb Assessment) and OCRA checklist and by adding some aspects Associated with overload and repetitiveness in the OCRA checklist and OWAS.                Based on the assessment of work posture by visual management method, the result of OES value shows 3 processes with OES value ≤ 0.4 with accepted operational status and 2 process with OES value is in the range 0.4 <OES ≤ 0.5, with operational status becomes' necessary further investigation, Changes may be required

Abstract

This research investigates the problem of electromagnetic noise on myoelectric device. This myoelectric device has a low pass filter response (Butterworth type) with cut-off frequency (fc) 6 Hz and passing 8 volt signal. The passed signal, then amplified by a differential amplifier for 150 times into 1,2 Volt (20% noise captured system). So we require an approach to electromagnetic shielding to reduce interference from the outside that enter into the device system. In this study utilizing an experimental design using full factorial experiment methods to determine the effect of the type of bahan, the frequency response, and the interaction to the performance of shielding. The experiment results showed that each element and their interactions, significantly affected the value of the shielding performance. Aluminium foil air cell bubble has the highest shielding performance with the average performance of shielding efficiency of 94,80887 %. This bahan used for shielding socket design proposal which based in the Wisconsin department of health service and American heart association standard.

Abstract

Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) is a method to evaluate the design of productwith considering the ease of manufacture process and the assembly process. UNS LPPD Hand isprosthetic hand with the function and shape that has likely the original hand man. UNS LPPD Hand is developed by the Laboratory Planning and Product Design of Sebelas Maret University (Laboratorium P3 UNS). From the conceptual design of prosthetic finger by Cahyadin (2016), the prototype can't do the movement flexed according with the design objectives and there are some components that not required. Therefore, there are some components that must be modified or eliminated. The modified component is phalanx of media and eliminated components are short and long pin holder The result is improvement of design prosthetic finger that 2 components are fixed and 4 components are eliminated, and reducing the process from 99 steps to 79 steps
