Abstract

Abstract Religious rituals during the COVID-19 pandemic are indeed different from previous times. Nowadays, it is required to use a series of conditions in running it. In various regions in carrying out many worship activities, cultural rites, religion must be limited by several provisions. In celebration, not all will attend the assembly or mosque. As for this article, the author uses a phenomenological approach methodology to map current phenomena on the surface that are different from religious activities before the outbreak of Covid-19. The result of this study is that pilgrimage to the grave has become a rite in Islamic society when approaching major holidays, making pilgrimages always a social gathering and ritual that must be carried out even though there is a pandemic. However, with this pandemic, many public cemeteries have been closed and many appeals not to come to the graves during the pandemic, especially during major holidays in Islam. So it can be concluded that the religious ritual of pilgrimage to the grave, which has taken root in the community and becomes a ritual that must be carried out when approaching a certain day, cannot be limited even with the Covid-19 pandemic. Abstrak Ritual keagamaan di masa pandemi covid-19 ini memang berbeda dengan masa-masa sebelumnya. Masa hari ini dituntut untuk menggunakan serangkaian persyaratan dalam melaksanakannya. Di berbagai daerah dalam melaksanakan banyak kegiatan peribadatan, ritus budaya, agama harus dibatasi dengan beberapa ketentuan. Dalam perayaannya, memang tidak semua akan hadir dalam sebuah majelis atau masjid. Adapun pada artikel ini penulis menggunakan metodologi pendekatan fenomenologi untuk memetakan sebuah kejadian fenomena yang hari ini timbul dipermukaan yang ada sebuah perbedaan dengan kegiatan keagamaan di kala sebelum mewabahnya covid-19. Hasil daripada kajian ini ialah ziarah kubur yang sudah menjadi ritus dalam masyarakat Islam ketika menjelang hari-hari besar, menjadikan ziarah akan selalu menjadi pertemuan dan ritual keagamaan yang tetap harus dikerjakan meski pandemi. Namun, dengan adanya pandemi ini, tempat pemakaman umum banyak yang ditutup dan banyak himbauan untuk tidak datang ke makam di masa-masa pandemi, terutama ketika hari-hari besar dalam Islam. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ritual keagamaan ziarah kubur yang sudah mengakar dalam masyarakat dan menjadi ritual yang wajib dikerjakan ketika menjelang hari tertentu, tidak bisa dibatasi meskipun dengan adanya pandemi Covid-19 ini.

Abstract

ABSTRAKNU adalah organisasi Islam terbesar di Indonesia. Dalam perjuangannya, NU memiliki banyak hal yang ditawarkan, mulai dari pendidikan, sosial, politik, ekonomi dan lain-lain. Ketertarikan NU untuk berkiprah di kancah politik dimulai sejak perjuangan dengan kedatangan Jepang. Resolusi Jihad dikeluarkan untuk melawan segala bentuk penjajahan dan bentuk bela kemerdekaan bangsa Indonesia. Kerja politik dimulai dari MIAI, GAPI dengan mendelegasikan aktivis muda NU untuk berpartisipasi dalam dunia politik, tak lain Masyumi, Partai Nahdlatul Ulama dan perjuangan politik yang kembali pada khittah 1926. Doktrin politik NU bertumpu pada khasanah keilmuan fiqh yang menjadi landasan ratu ilmu di dunia Islam dan pesantren. Keberadaan NU sebagai organisasi Islam mengalami seuah keharusan dalam memberikan partisipasinya untuk ruang politik, dengan beberapa doktrinal-doktrinal keagamaan yang dianutnya. Namun, tujuan akhir daripada NU dalam gelanggang politik dan sekembalinya ke khittah 1926 bahwa doktrin NU dalam keagamaan dan kebangsaan ialah tujuan utama untuk kemaslahatan umat dan bangsa. Penulis menggunakan metodologi sejarah sebagai pendekatan sekaligus metode untuk mendekati objek kajian yang terkait erat dengan hubungan politik dan sosial-kemasyarakatan maupun keumatan. Agar bisa disimpulkan bahwa doktrin NU yang kental dengan fiqh siyasah, akan tetapi dalam perwujudannya bisa bergerak dalam beberapa sudut pandang banyak arah. Politik sebagai jalan untuk melawan penjajah, sehingga keikutsertaan dalam praktis politik ialah dorongan keadaan dan semua terumuskan untuk kembali pada politik perjuangan awal dari NU 1926, politik kebangsaan atau politik kultural.ABSTRACTNU is the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia. NU's interest in taking part in politics began with the struggle with the arrival of Japan. The Jihad Resolution was issued against all forms of colonialism and forms of defense of the Indonesian nation's independence. Political work started from MIAI, GAPI by delegating young NU activists to participate in the political world, none other than Masyumi, the Nahdlatul Ulama Party and political struggles that returned to the 1926 khittah. NU's political doctrine rests on the scientific knowledge of fiqh which is the foundation of the queen of knowledge in the Islamic world. and Islamic boarding schools. The existence of NU as an Islamic organization experiences a necessity in giving its participation in the political space, with several religious doctrines it adheres to. However, the final goal of NU was in the political arena and upon its return to the 1926 khittah that the NU doctrine in religion and nationality was the main goal for the benefit of the people and the nation. The author uses historical methodology as an approach as well as a method to approach the object of study which is closely related to political and social-social and public relations. So that it can be concluded that the NU doctrine is thick with fiqh siyasah, but in its manifestation it can move in several points of view in many directions. Politics as a way to fight against the colonialists, so that participation in political practice was a driving force for the situation and everything was formulated to return to the politics of the initial struggle of NU 1926, national politics or cultural politics.

Abstract

Abstract This article will explain about the integration of Islam and local culture in the architecture of ancient mosques in Java. The architecture of the ancient mosque to this day is still considered to have a deep meaning. The encounter with local culture and Islam, made Islam transformed into a religion that sees the existing reality. Civilization is in the form of a physical stand firmly in its nuances of locality. Mosques are historical relics for Muslims as evidence that Islamic history has succeeded in bringing civilization to a stop in Java. The mosque is a center for da'wah, education and socio-religious activities. So the establishment of the mosque is not a matter of physical considerations, but metaphysical. The method that the author uses is the historical method. This article only looks at an overview of the architecture of ancient mosques in Java. The content of the discussion describes how Islamic architecture in Java, architectural development, integration of Islam and culture in the art of ancient mosque architecture in Java. In conclusion, there is no certain standard in building and establishing mosques in Java. The architectural style of Javanese Islamic mosques has given its own characteristics for Islam in Java.

Abstract

Abstract: Abdurrahman Wahid or often known as Gus Dur, is a nationalist thinker, writer and kyai in Indonesia. His ideas and thoughts have given a glimmer of light to some Indonesian Muslims about the importance of respecting and living tolerance. In his intellectual perspective, the basic foundation for building a pluralistic Indonesia is based on a national cultural and ideological foundation, none other than Pancasila. Because these two foundations build on the history of nationalism, both personally and collectively. Grounding Islam as one of Gus Dur's noble nawacitas to unite the values ​​and norms of religious spirituality, namely the beauty of religion. In this article the author uses a biographical approach. The concept of historical writing: data, facts, sources and methods. With several approaches, concepts and methodologies of historical research, this writing uses a literature review or literature study with several primary and secondary historical sources from Gus Dur's works as well as several other writers who discuss Gus Dur and scientific journals. Gus Dur's thinking is a thought based on pluralism-humanism, Pancasila, Islamic indigenization and Islamic cosmopolitanism.
