Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to address the challenges in fundraising processes, which often lack systematic and transparent approaches. To overcome these issues, a web-based crowdfunding application was developed using AWS Amplify as the cloud architecture, Next.js as the web application development framework, and Playwright as the automated end-to-end testing framework. Following the Agile Scrum methodology, the application was designed to provide a convenient and secure user experience for fundraising managers, donors, and potential beneficiaries. The evaluation results showed a high user satisfaction rate of 93.29%, indicating a significant improvement in fundraising effectiveness. Furthermore, the implementation of the web application resulted in a remarkable 210% increase in fundraising efficiency within a 19-day timeframe. The end-to-end automated testing, covering 11 test scenarios on various browsers such as Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit, demonstrated successful performance within a short testing time of 1.9 minutes. These findings validate the success and benefits of the developed web application, offering improved fundraising capabilities and high user satisfaction.

Abstract

Networks that contain sensitive data or have high-security requirements require reliable and dependable network security solutions. FortiGate Firewall, as one of the popular network security solutions, provides High Availability (HA) features that ensure network availability and reliability. This study aims to analyze the implementation of HA on FortiGate Firewall in specific scenarios, such as networks with sensitive data or networks with high-security requirements. A real-world case study is applied to evaluate the effectiveness of HA implementation on FortiGate Firewall in enhancing network reliability and security. In this research, the implementation of HA on FortiGate Firewall at PT ABC was successfully built using the PPDIOO method and deploying SD-WAN load balancing and failover configurations, along with the utilization of a high-availability cluster mechanism. The HA implementation on FortiGate proves to be an effective solution, as demonstrated in the SD-WAN Zone testing of the Source-destination SD-WAN load balancing mode, which showed effectiveness in evenly and optimally distributing traffic among multiple available links, resulting in a 93.3% reduction in downtime. Furthermore, the testing of HA cluster mode in active-passive configuration achieved a 91.8% reduction in downtime compared to the pre-HA implementation state.

Abstract

The K1 clinic (Kawan Kewan) is a veterinary clinic in the city of Magelang that was established in 2018. There are many ways to improve the services at the K1 clinic (Kawan Kewan). Pet Owners are worried when going to the vet clinic because they are uninformed of the incurred expenses that they will get  after having a medical examination at the clinic. Meanwhile the clinic needs a system that can manage administration and can increase the satisfaction of customers who come to the clinic, as well as manage all administration related to the veterinary service process. The primary goal of this research is to make an Android-based mobile application to simplify administration and give a better experience for every customer who come to the veterinary clinic. In this research, the waterfall method is used as a testing tool because this method allows for departmentalization and control. Therefore, this method is suitable for solving the existing cases at the K1 Veterinary Clinic (Kawan Kewan) by utilizing the MVVM architecture framework for Android application development. The application, which was created utilizing the MVVM design and the Kotlin programming language, was tested on users and produced pleasing results. It efficiently meets the needs of users and clinics, making pet services possible.
