Abstract

Seksio sesarea telah menjadi tindakan bedah kebidanan kedua tersering yang digunakan di Indonesia dan diluar negeri. Tindakan pembedahan sering menimbulkan rasa takut yang berdampak pada cemas mengakibatkan penurunan kontraksi uterus, penurunan sirkulasi uteroplasenta, pengurangan aliran darah dan oksigen ke uterus, serta timbulnya iskemia uterus yang membuat impuls nyeri bertambah banyak. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan penggunaan distraksi (mendengarkan musik) dan nafas dalam terhadap tingkat kecemasan pada ibu pre operasi seksio sesarea di ruang kebidanan RSUD dr. M. Haulussy ambon tahun 2017. Desain penelitian Quasi Eksperimental denganRancangan penelitian two group comparrison post test desing, sampel 30 ibu pre operasi seksio sesarea yang di ambil dengan teknik accidental sampling. Dari hasil penelitian di dapatkan responden dengan tingkat kecemasan penggunaan distraksi dan nafas dalam yaitu tidak ada kecemasan sebanyak 26 orang (86.7 %) dan kecemasan ringan sebanyak 4 (13.3%). penelitian ini menunjukan ada perbedaan penggunaan distraksi dan nafas dalam terhadap tingkat kecemasan (p = 0.000; α = 0.05). dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan penggunaan distraksi (mendengarkan musik ) dan nafas dalam terhadap tingkat kecemasan pada ibu pre operasi seksio sesarea. Abstract

Latar belakang WHO merekomendasi penggunaan obat tradisional dalam pemeliharaan kesehatan masyarakat, pencegahan dan pengobatan penyakit, terutama untuk penyakit kronis, (WHO, 2016). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pengobatan hipertensi dengan menggunakan obat tradisional di desa waimital kecamatan kairatu kabupaten seram bagian barat tahun 2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Cross Sectional. Sampel penelitian ini ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode Total Sampling yang berjumlah 30 responden. Intrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Pengolahan data dengan SPSS, menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil Dari 30 responden dengan tingkat pengetahuan baik dan kurang tentang pengobatan herbalis seimbang yaitu masing-masing sebanyak 15 orang (50,0%) dan hanya 20 responden (66,7%) yang menggunakan obat herbalis dalam mengatasi masalah hipertensi. Hasil uji statistik diperoleh nilai p=0,003

Abstract

Harendong Bulu with the Latin name Clidemia hirta is a plant that belongs to the Melastomataceae family, this plant usually has medicinal properties. This study aims to obtain morphological, anatomical, organoleptic data, and identify the chemical content of the harendong bulu (Clidemia hirta) plant. The research design used is an experimental laboratory. Morphological examination showed that the harendong bulu (Clidemia hirta) belongs to the class of magnoliopsida with woody stems, the shape of the stem is round, the surface of the stem is hairy, scaly and brown in color and the root system is tapped. Anatomical examination showed that the harendong bulu (Clidemia hirta) plant has epidermis, endodermis, cuticle, stomata, vessels, xylem and phloem, periskel, cortex, and calcium oxatate crystals. On organoleptic examination, the leaves of Harendong Bulu (Clidermia hirta) have a bitter and sweet taste and a characteristic odor, while the stems have a bitter taste and a characteristic odor, and the roots have an astringent bitter taste and odorless. Chemical identification of harendong bulu leaf powder obtained positive results for tannins (catechols and pyrogalotanins), dioxyanthraquinones, steroids, saponins, glycosides and phenols.Harendong Bulu with the Latin name Clidemia hirta is a plant that belongs to the Melastomataceae family, this plant usually has medicinal properties. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has made hand sanitizer gel widely used. Hand sanitizer gels generally contain alcohol as an antiseptic to kill bacteria, but long-term use of antiseptics containing alcohol can cause skin irritation. So we need natural alternative materials that have antibacterial power but are friendly to the skin and do not cause irritation. One of theplants that can be used as an antibacterial is a bay leaf (Syzygium polyanthum) because it contains flavonoids that can act as an antiseptic against bacteria. The purpose of this study is to find out the formulation and physical test of the gel hand sanitizer of the ethanol extract of bay leaves (Syzygium polyanthum) with a variety of carbopol concentrations. this study used an experimental design. Three formulations were made with different concentrations of carbopol, namely formula I (carbopol 0.5%), formula II (carbopol 1%), and formula III (carbopol 1.5%). Of the three formulas, physical properties were evaluated which included organoleptic tests, homogeneity tests, and PH tests. The results showed that formula I (carbopol 0.5%), and formula II (carbopol 1%) met the requirements for evaluating the physical properties of the hand sanitizer gel which included organoleptic tests, homogeneity tests, and PH tests. While formula III (carbopol 1.5%) did not meet the physical test, namely the PH test.

Abstract

Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans) is a spice plant that produces essential oils of economic value. Especially the myristicin compounds contained in nutmeg oil have potential as antioxidants and also anti-aging. The content of nutmeg which shows antifungal activity is flavonoids, saponins and alkaloids. Flavonoids as antifungal compounds work by interfering with the permeability of fungal cell membranes and changing organic components and nutrient transport which ultimately results in toxic effects on fungi. This study aims to determine the chemical content and whether the nutmeg extract can be formulated in cream preparations as well as the results of the physical properties test on the preparation of the nutmeg (Myristica fragrans) ethanol extract of cream. The type of research used in this study was experimental research in the laboratory. Nutmeg (Myristica Fragrans), phytochemical screening test on nutmeg extract, cream preparation formulation, cream physical properties test (organoleptic test, pH test, homogeneity test, cream type test). Nutmeg extraction was carried out using the maceration method using 70% ethanol. The results of phytochemical screening of the ethanol extract of nutmeg (Myristica fragrans) indicated the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, and saponins. The preparation of cream of ethanol extract of nutmeg (Myristica fragrans) using a Vaseline album base ratio of F1 (10%), F2 (15%) and F3 (20%) had stable physical properties.
