Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of family environment, peers, and learning achievement on the interest in continuing education to higher education in the XI class of accounting skills competencies in Padang City Vocational School simultaneously and partially. There are two Vocational Schools namely Padang State Vocational High School 2 and Padang State Vocational High School 3. This means that the population in this study was all students of class XI Accounting of Vocational Schools 2 Padang, amounting to 121 people and Vocational Schools 3 Padang totaling 83 people. From a total of 204 populations, the sampling method used was proportional random sampling technique with a total sample of 127 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. For data analysis methods used are descriptive and associative analysis and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that there were influences on the family environment, peers, and learning achievement towards the interest in continuing to higher education simultaneously at 24.8%. Partially the family environment influences the interest in continuing to higher education. Whereas peers do not influence the interest in continuing their education to college. Likewise, for learning achievement does not affect the interest in continuing to higher education.Keyword: family environment, peers, learning achievement

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find (1) The influece of Price, Quality Of Service and Advertising on the Benefits of KOPMA UNP For Students FE UNP (2) The Influence of Price on the Benefits of KOPMA UNP for Students FE UNP, (3) The Influence of Quality Of Service on the Benefits Of KOPMA UNP for Students FE UNP, (4) The Influence of Advertising On The Benefits of KOPMA UNP For Students FE UNP. This type of research was a descriptive associative. The populations of this research were student of FE UNP who has transacted at KOPMA UNP. The Sampling was determined by Wibisono formula with a total sample of 100 people and using accidental sampling technique. The type of data in this research was primary data. The data has been collected and then analyzed statistically with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 16.0. Hypothesis test in this research have done by using F test and t test. The result of research shows that (1) The influence of Price, Quality Of Service and Advertising Simultaneosly has positive and significant effect to KOPMA UNP On The Benefits for Student of FE UNP with significance value 0.000 <0.05, (2) The Price has positive and significant Effect On The Benefits Of KOPMA UNP for Student FE UNP with significance value of 0.009 <0.05, (3) The Quality of Service has not significant effect On The Benefits Of KOPMA UNP for Student FE UNP with significance value 0.078> 0.05, (4) The Advertising has not effect On Benefits Of KOPMA UNP For Students FE UNP with significance value 0.864 > 0.05. Keywords              : Price, Quantity Of Service, Advertising and Benefits

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine 1) The influence students perception about teacher profession of interest to become a teacher. 2) The influence family environment of interest become a teacher. 3) The influnce of students perception about teacher profession and family environment of interest to become a teacher. This type of research is descriptive and associative research. The population of this study is all students from economic education  padang state university in 2014, amount of the population is 88 people. The sampling technique of data collection is done by Total Sampling with amount of sample is 82 people because the  7 people have finished their studies. The data used are primary and secondary data.  This research had two categories of variable The first was the independent variable, the paerceptions of students about the teaching prefession .  The first was the independent variable, the perceptions of students about the teaching profession and family environment.  The second dependent variable, namely interests become a teacher. The analytical  method used is multiple regression analysis. The result show that. 1) Student perception about teacher profession significant effect to interest become a teacher. 2) Family environment are significant effect to interest become a teacher. 3) Perception of students about the profession teacher and family environment jointly had a significant effect to interest become a teacher.Keyword: Perception, The Profession Of Teacher, Family Environment, Interset

Abstract

This research was conducted to see how far the effect of parental attention, home study facilities and motivation on student learning outcome of social science subject on District Sungayang high school Tanah Datar regency. Descriptive associative method was used to conduct this research. The sample which was chosen by using proportional random sampling method. The collected data was analized stastiscally with path analysis. Thus, the result show that (1) parental attention gave a significant effect on student motivation, (2) home study facilities fgave a significat effect on student motivation, (3) parental attention gave a significant effect on students learning outcome, (4) home study facilities gave a significant effect on student learning outcome and (5) motivation gave a significant effect on student learning outcome

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect students choose smk country in the district south solok. The type of research is explorative research. The sampling technique in this study is with proportional random sampling, with a sample of 325 people who are distributed in 5 SMK Negeri Solok Selatan. Data collection was done through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation as a reference in this study. The analytical method used is factor analysis. Research is classified into quantitative research using survey method. To test the hypothesis by using t test. The results showed that: 1).Social Economy factors become factors that are considered by students to decide decisions in choosing a school. 2) cost of education and support factor becomes the factor considered by the students to determine the decision in choosing the school.
