Abstract

The purposes of this research are to know: 1. The influence of promotion toward the buyers’ interest, 2. Whether or not the product quality influences the buyers’ interest and 3. Whether or not promotion and the product quality influence the buyers’ interest. This is an explanatory research using a quantitative approach. There are three variables in this research, namely promotion (X1), the product quality (X2) andthe buyers’ interest (Y). The data was got by administering the offline questionnairs to the university students staying at Islamic Boarding School of Girl of Walisongo Cukir Jombang, in which their ages were 18 years old up to 23 years old. The sample used in this research was 109 respondents. The sampling used was the purposive sampling. The data was analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research show that the variable of promotuion influences the process of decision making in buying. Then, variable of the quality of the product influences the process of decision making in buying. Both the promotion and the product quality influence the buyers’ interest. Based on the result of this study, it is suggested that Rabbanishould be able to defend and increase their promotion as well as improve their product quality because the variables of promotion and the product quality have the dominant influence toward the buyers’ interest. Abstract

The management of fisheries economic activities is an integral part of agricultural businesses and cannot be separated. One of the obstacles faced is the lack of management in gourami fish farming, so that many farmers cannot develop their business. The purpose of this community service programme (PKM) is to provide training to village youth so that the Mlaras community can be more independent. Participants in this PKM activity are youth from Mlaras village in the Mitra area who have the drive and ambition to improve their situation and create new economic ventures. The challenges faced are the lack of knowledge and skills among the youth in Mlaras village regarding the management of carp farming, especially in tarpaulin ponds, and regarding aquaculture business planning, in addition to good aquaculture technology, such as feed distribution management, has not been widely adopted by the community. This activity uses a direct approach by involving members of the fish farming community in the Partner area. Activities are carried out through theoretical counselling, hands-on practice, and mentoring in the field to provide access to the community to real knowledge and experience. The positive impact resulting from this PKM activity is that participants gain knowledge and skills related to fish breeding management.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh daya tarik iklan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini mengambil obyek di PT.AFBE Cahaya Kreatif Jombang.
