Abstract

This community service program aims to empower the people of Mangunsari Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang City through purple sweet potato-based donut innovation. The main problem is the low added value of purple sweet potatoes, which are only sold raw, and limited knowledge of processed product diversification. The implementation method included training in donut making, packaging, branding, and marketing management for 25 participants. Results showed a significant increase in participant knowledge from 38% to 87%, with 92% of participants able to produce high-quality donuts. The optimal formulation using a 37.5% substitution of purple sweet potato puree resulted in an organoleptic acceptance level of 84-88%. Value-added analysis showed a 1,025% increase in economic value with a profit margin of 260%. The "Sate Donat Mini 17" business group was formed, with 48% of participants actively producing, generating additional income of IDR 1.8-3.5 million per month. The program has had a positive impact on community economic empowerment and increasing the added value of local commodities. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perputaran kas, perputaran piutang, dan perputaran persediaan terhadap profitabilitas pada perusahaan sektor food and beverage yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2021–2024. Profitabilitas diukur menggunakan Return on Assets (ROA) yang mencerminkan kemampuan perusahaan dalam menghasilkan laba dari aset yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh 21 perusahaan sebagai sampel dengan total 84 data observasi selama periode penelitian. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS)  dengan bantuan program SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perputaran Kas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Perputaran piutang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Perputaran persediaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bagi manajemen perusahaan untuk lebih mengoptimalkan pengelolaan kas, mempercepat penagihan piutang, serta mengelola persediaan secara efisien agar dapat meningkatkan kinerja keuangan perusahaan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Mlinjo chip entrepreneurs in Wonokerso Village encountered difficulties managing finances systematically without adequate bookkeeping practices, hindering accurate profit-loss assessment. This community engagement program sought to enhance practical bookkeeping capabilities among fifteen members of "Sumber Rejeki" business collective through comprehensive training and mentoring. The intervention employed participatory methods encompassing preparation, socialization, skill development workshops, continuous guidance, and performance evaluation. Findings demonstrated substantial improvement in financial literacy, evidenced by assessment scores advancing from 42.3 to 81.7. Participants successfully mastered daily transaction recording (100%), income statement preparation (86.7%), and production cost calculation (73.3%). Systematic documentation revealed authentic profit margins of 18-22%, contradicting initial estimations of 30-35%. The initiative yielded multiple benefits including enhanced financial awareness, data-driven decision-making capacity, and improved creditworthiness for institutional financing. Sustainability mechanisms were established through peer mentoring systems and regular accountability sessions within the business network
