Abstract

The integration of face-to-face learning offline in classrooms and online using the blended learning model requires the mental readiness of educators and students to achieve the desired learning objectives. This study intends to explore students' perceptions of the application of limited face-to-face learning policies in learning Arabic using a blended learning model. This study adopts a qualitative approach with a case study method at STAI Sabili Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Research informants totaled 30 people obtained through a questionnaire using Google Form. Data were analyzed through three stages, namely reduction, presentation and verification of data. Finally, the data validation technique uses triangulation of data and data sources. The results of this study indicate that students prefer face-to-face learning using up-to-date learning models and media compared to online learning only. Therefore, creativity and teacher skills are required in designing Arabic learning in accordance with the mandate of global developments. This study recommends further research to analyze the opportunities and challenges of using the blended learning model in learning Arabic. Keywords: Arabic Learning, Blended Learning, PTMT, Learning Technology

Abstract

Bullying is a severe child problem that needs attention. School-age children are not only vulnerable to becoming victims but also perpetrators. It is a breakthrough intervention so that children are not susceptible to exposure. This community service program aims to cultivate children's resilience to protect themselves from the vulnerability of all kinds of bullying. It employed a mentoring method that involved three stages. The method used Service Learning (SL) method. It was as a medium for integrating voluntary community services with active reflection which is expected to enrich and strengthen training materials in community development with the use of existing assets and potential. They were the preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation stages. The preparatory stage was done by observing school-age children's gathering points, identifying problems, and determining the mentoring program. The second was implementing a mentoring program based on the child's age. Then the third stage was monitoring and evaluation. The mentoring results found that school-age children participated in this program enthusiastically and participative. Knowledge, awareness, and commitment of school-age children in Cilodong, Depok, related to bullying prevention increased significantly. Abstract

Bullying merupakan salah satu masalah serius anak yang perlu mendapat perhatian sekolah dan keluarga. Anak usia sekolah bukan hanya rentan menjadi korban bullying, namun juga rentan sebagai pelaku. Kondisi dimaksud diperlukan kemitraan yang baik antara sekolah dan orangtua. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat sinergi antara sekolah dan keluarga agar segala bentuk bullying dapat dicegah sejak dini, kerentanan bullying dapat dideteksi dan antisipasi dapat dilakukan dengan baik. Penguatan kemitraan sekolah dan keluarga ini menggunakan pendekatan Community Centered Development (CCD). CCD adalah pola pengembangan berbasis kebutuhan masyarakat menuju perubahan yang positif. Pendekatan ini terdapat 5 (lima) fase, namun mempertimbangkan waktu dan urgensi, dilakukan 2 (dua) fase. Fase pertama, analisis kebutuhan berdasarkan pemetaan kasus bersumber dari pemberitaan media online dan data hasil pengawasan KPAI. Fase kedua, membuat desain kegiatan intervensi melalui bentuk sosialisasi untuk membedah bullying dan urgensi kemitraan antara keluarga dan sekolah. Kegiatan penguatan dilaksanakan di Kota Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau pada hari Sabtu, 01 Oktober 2022, dan dihadiri 435 orang peserta, terdiri dari guru dan orang tua siswa. Hasil kegiatan dimaksud agar orangtua memahami dan berkomitmen memperkuat sinergi untuk pencegahan bullying sejak dini.
