Abstract

Abstrak: Pandemi Covid-19 menuntut guru untuk menyusun strategi pembelajaran maharah qira’ah dengan baik. Sehingga pembelajaran berdampak baik bagi perkembangan keterampilan siswa. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi pembelajaran maharah qira’ah yang dilakukan guru pada era pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus di SD IT Nurul Ikhlas Padang, sedangkan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Data dianalisis menggunakan triangulasi data dan sumber data, sedangkan tahap validasi data menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman yaitu mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan verifikasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran maharah qira’ah di era pandemi dilakukan menggunakan media elektronik Whatsapp, Google Classroom dan Youtube melalui pendampingan penuh dari guru. Kajian ini merekomendasikan penelitian lanjutan untuk menguji efektivitas pembelajaran maharah qira’ah menggunakan media online bagi siswa tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Learning Arabic using a limited face-to-face model seems to find its momentum after online learning has been going on for a long time. Through this model, it is hoped that the difficulties in learning Arabic when online learning will be eroded. This study aims to describe the implementation of the limited face-to-face policy as an alternative model of learning Arabic in the Covid-19 pandemic era, student motivation, learning media used, and obstacles faced by students. The research method uses a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach at STAI Sabili Bandung. Data analysis techniques through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion. While the validity of the data test using triangulation and data sources. The results of this study indicate that: first, students' motivation to follow the limited face-to-face learning model based on the Arabic learning achievement index which has decreased since online-based learning. Second, learning media used during limited face-to-face learning such as power points, supporting books, laptops, Lcd projectors, and various online media such as Youtube, E-learning, Gmail, Google Drive, and Websites. Third, the obstacles that arise when limited face-to-face learning comes from technical matters such as mobility to campus and non-technical in learning Arabic skills.

Abstract

The integration of face-to-face learning offline in classrooms and online using the blended learning model requires the mental readiness of educators and students to achieve the desired learning objectives. This study intends to explore students' perceptions of the application of limited face-to-face learning policies in learning Arabic using a blended learning model. This study adopts a qualitative approach with a case study method at STAI Sabili Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Research informants totaled 30 people obtained through a questionnaire using Google Form. Data were analyzed through three stages, namely reduction, presentation and verification of data. Finally, the data validation technique uses triangulation of data and data sources. The results of this study indicate that students prefer face-to-face learning using up-to-date learning models and media compared to online learning only. Therefore, creativity and teacher skills are required in designing Arabic learning in accordance with the mandate of global developments. This study recommends further research to analyze the opportunities and challenges of using the blended learning model in learning Arabic. Keywords: Arabic Learning, Blended Learning, PTMT, Learning Technology

Abstract

Digital-based Arabic learning has become a necessity that must be done by every teacher in the technology era. The concept of multiple intelligences is present as an answer to some of the perceptions that reveal that there are students who are stupid in the field of language. This study intends to explore the theoretical framework of multiple intelligences in learning Arabic in the digital era. Using a qualitative approach with library research methods in describing research findings. Research data was obtained from primary and secondary sources in the form of articles, proceedings and books. The collected data is then presented using a descriptive content analysis technique deductively. This research shows that the digital era is a great opportunity for teachers in compiling multiple intelligences-based learning that is tailored to the conditions and needs of students. In addition to the above aspects, the concept of multiple intelligences adopted in Arabic learning provides room to compete with other subjects that have applied multiple intelligences first. To refine these findings, further research is needed to test the learning outcomes using multiple intelligences with conventional learning without the concept of multiple intelligences.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' creative thinking skills in learning Arabic through the application of a project-based learning model based on Hots. This study uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods of the type of quasi-experimental research with the research design used is Post-Test Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were students of class X MAN 1 Malang City, East Java, Indonesia. The data collection instrument used was a test using an independent sample t-test analysis test. Based on the independent sample t-test, the significance value of the variable analysis was 0.013 < 0.05 with an average value of 75.12 for the experimental class and 70.28 for the control class. Through the results obtained, there is a significant positive effect between experimental class students who use project-based learning models and control class students who only use conventional models. So to improve students' creative thinking skills, they can use project-based learning in Arabic learning.

Abstract

Social media grows very fast and it has an impact on the high intensity of users in social interaction. One of the media that is often exposed is Instagram, it encourages Arabic learning lecturers to internalize it in learning. Thus, this study aims to investigate the effectiveness of Instagram on the Arabic speaking skills of STAI Sabili Bandung students and analyze verbal language errors. The quantitative data in the form of pre-test and post-test results were analyzed through experimental methods. Meanwhile, the qualitative data were analyzed by using the inductive method to classify verbal language errors. The findings show that the speaking skills of STAI Sabili Bandung students have a positive significant increase in using Instagram as a means to develop Arabic speaking skills, but there are still errors in spoken language productivity such as vocabulary errors, sentence arrangement, and phrasing errors that are in accordance with the context of the sentence. The findings show that there is positive effect on Arabic speaking skills through the application of Instagram media evidenced by the significance value of Two-Sided p of <0.001 <0.05. The limitation of this study is the small sample size. So, it can hardly be generalized to a larger population. The researcher recommends further research to explore more detailed information with various research methods.

Abstract

HOTS-based Arabic learning in the Covid-19 pandemic era experienced complex problems because the learning process carried out online had an impact on the implementation of HOTS which was not optimal. This research encourages the disclosure of the challenges faced by teachers when implementing HOTS in learning Arabic in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. This research used a qualitative approach with the case study method in Islamic senior high school (MAN) 3 Padang Panjang West Sumatera, Indonesia. Collecting data was through an in-depth review of observations, interviews, and documents. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique was based on Miles and Huberman's theory by reducing data, presenting data, and concluding field findings. The data obtained were validated with data triangulation techniques and data sources. This study shows that the challenges faced by teachers stem from three main factors, namely; a) from the students' lack of Arabic language skills and uneven internet connection problems in the areas where students live; b) from the teachers' low understanding of the HOTS concept and its application in learning Arabic and; c) from school rules that have not set HOTS standards as a reference in learning. The test of the effectiveness of the application of HOTS skills in Arabic learning needs to be done through an online learning system.

Abstract

Vocabulary wealth for every learner is a must. Without an extensive vocabulary, it will hinder the ability to speak, but in reality, learners of Arabic. Therefore, this study will reveal language games as an alternative to improving Arabic vocabulary skills. The research was conducted at Tahfizh Al-Qur'an Daarul Ukhuwah Elementary School Malang, Indonesia, using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through Google Forms and guided interviews with 30 grade 1 and 3-grade students and 4 Arabic teachers. The data collected were analyzed through the stages of reducing, presenting, and concluding. The results of this study indicate that the language game "guess animals and objects, guess the word" is an alternative learning model that teachers can use in teaching Arabic vocabulary that is fun and oriented to students. The findings of this study describe that students find meaning in learning Arabic vocabulary using language games because the learning process is fun and enjoyable.

Abstract

The phenomenon of learning religion through social media is rife among the millennial generation. This is an opportunity for the internalization of religious moderation in the millennial environment. This study aims to reveal the millennial generation's perception of religious moderation through social media. This study uses a qualitative research design with case study methods, while data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation integrally with data analysis techniques through the theory of Milles and Huberman. This study shows that the millennial generation's perception of the implementation of religious moderation can be internalized through social media intermediaries with video, reading articles, and intensive persuasion strategies from social media content owners. The research findings illustrate that the phenomenon of the implementation of religious moderation in the millennial generation can be improved through the distribution of religious materials that are relevant to modern issues without reducing the essence of religious education. This study recommends further research to examine the effectiveness of understanding religious moderation in the younger generation in dealing with pluralism in Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid development of globalization has made global competition even tougher. Improving language skills has become a necessity for everyone, including Arabic. Arabic is important to be taught to students since they are in elementary school so that Arabic will be a provision for them when they grow up, one of which is to study religious knowledge. This study aimed to describe the strategy of strengthening Arabic skills of elementary school students based on tahfizh Qur'an. This study adopted a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method at SD Tahfizh Al-Qur'an Daarul Ukhuwwah Malang. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data is then analyzed through the stages of reduction, presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: a) game-based Arabic learning strategies to attract students' attention to learning; b) the Arabic language learning program must be followed by teachers and students, teacher activities are directly guided by the principal, while the student program is guided by the teacher in the form of making Arabic videos, Arabic songs, and depositing Arabic vocabulary via Whatsapp; c) obstacles found during the learning process in the form of student delays when depositing Arabic vocabulary due to lack of parental supervision and motivationThe findings of this study reveal the positive impact that arises from the game-based Arabic learning process, namely that students are able to communicate Arabic with their teachers and friends. [Perkembangan arus globalisasi yang semakin cepat, membuat persaingan global juga semakin ketat. Meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa sudah menjadi keniscayaan bagi semua orang termasuk bahasa Arab. Bahasa Arab penting untuk diajarkan pada siswa sejak mereka duduk di bangku Sekolah Dasar agar bahasa Arab menjadi bekal bagi mereka ketika beranjak dewasa salah satunya untuk mempelajari ilmu agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi penguatan keterampilan berbahasa Arab siswa sekolah dasar bebasis tahfizh Qur’an. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus di SD Tahfizh Al-Qur’an Daarul Ukhuwwah Malang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: a) strategi belajar sambil bermain sangat menarik perhatian siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab; b) program pembelajaran bahasa Arab wajib diikuti oleh guru dan siswa, kegiatan guru dibimbing langsung oleh kepala sekolah, sedangkan program siswa dibimbing oleh guru berupa pembuatan video bahasa Arab, lagu bahasa Arab, dan setoran kosa-kata bahasa Arab melalui Whatsapp; c) kendala yang ditemukan saat proses pembelajaran berupa keterlambatan siswa saat setoran kosa-kata bahasa Arab karena kurangnya pengawasan dan motivasi orang tua.
