Abstract

Seeing the very high mobility behavior of the Jakarta people and difficult to avoid congestion, it is appropriate, a solution that invites people to move from private vehicles to mass transportation modes such as the Jakarta MRT. The transportation service industry is an interesting sector to observe because Jakarta MRT is relatively new transportation in Jakarta. This study aims to determine the level of passenger satisfaction with the quality of Jakarta Corridor 1 MRT services (Lebak bulus Station - HI Roundabout) reviewed using the questionnaire method, using 100 respondents taken randomly from Lebak Bulus to the HI Roundabout and vice versa. To get the results of customer satisfaction required data on the average rating of respondents and the results obtained an average value above 3 and included in the category of very satisfied according to the CSI table. To get data that needs to be a priority to be improved and data that needs to be maintained the level of service quality needs to be tested using the Cartesian diagram of the importance- performance method and the results of data that become priorities for improvement are safety aspects at trains and stations as well as courtesy of officers. To test the results of the analysis conducted a validity test using the bivariate correlation method to measure the validity and invalidity of the data with a significance value of 1% and R tables obtained at 0.258 and 100% validity results (all valid data), reliability testing to measure the level of consistency of respondents in filling out the questionnaire from the SPSS program counting process gets the result that the questionnaire has a high level of consistency.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the performance of the road before and after the provision of motorcycle lanes. It also aims to determine the lane effect on vehicle speed and alternative solutions. Design/methodology/approach: In this study, MKJI 1997 and Vissim Software were used as the research methods. Findings: The results of the existing road performance showing that the vehicle speed, DS, and level of service were 38.66 km/h, 0.84, and D, respectively. This indicated that the provision of motorcycle lanes was effective in improving road performance, due to the level of service for the LV and HV lanes increasing from D to B, with a speed increasing from 36.99 km/h to 40.25 km/h. The results showed that the level of service for the motorcycle lane increased from D to C and the vehicle speed was 49.92 km/h. While the level of service for LV and HV lanes being consistent with B and the vehicle speed was 40,04 km/h. Research limitations/implications: The level of service for the motorcycle lanes decreased from D to F with the speed decreased from 46.13 km/h to 41.23 km/h, subsequently indicating that the alternative solution was to widen the motorcycle lane. Practical implications: Margonda Road is one of the congestion points in Depok City. Margonda Road connecting Depok and Jakarta. The composition of motorcycles on Margonda Road reach more than 80% of the traffic flow. This conditions has an impact on decrease the road performance. In this study, the provision of motorcycle lanes will be carried out using the Vissim Software simulation, where the application of lanes is considered to be the solution to this problem. Originality/value: This paper is original Paper type: a Research Paper

Abstract

The kalimalang highway is a connecting road between the city of Jakarta and Bekasi, the high mobility of passenger vehicles and goods is a problem of congestion that must be minimized. The volume of vehicles on the Kalimalang highway has increased quite high each year, but this has not been matched by growth in capacity. Therefore the government plants to build the Becakayu toll road to reduce congestion. This study aims to determine bottlenecks that occur due to the construction of an off-ramp on the Becakayu toll road, especially in section 2A, which is located on Jl. Veteran, while the location under review is the intersections affected by the construction of the off-ramp including the intersection of four signaling BCP, intersection of four signaling Veteran and Sarbini unsigned intersection, Data analysis in this study uses the MKJI 1997 method. From this method displays the behavior of traffic, for signal intersections will display signal time, capacity, vehicle stopped ratio, queue length, and average delay and for unsignalized intersections will display capacity, average delay and queue opportunity. From the results of this study it was found that the signaled intersection had an average value of DS > 1, so for the service level at the intersection is the current forced / jammed with low speed. Where the largest queue length occurred 1876.7 m, an average delay of 210.30 SMP/ sec, and vehicles stopped at an average of 7378 SMP/hour. And for unsignalized intersections having an average DS <0.45, the service level at the intersection is a stable flow with operating speed starting to be limited by traffic conditions, this intersection has the greatest queue probability (QP%) 8.48-20.35 in the Saturday time period - afternoon and intersection delay 9.5 SMP / sec.

Abstract

Bekasi Regency is a regency in West Java Province with a population of ± 3,899,00 Million People (Based on Statistics Indonesia, 2020). Diponegoro Highway – Setia Mekar Street Bekasi Regency is access to the main road to the city border, besides that access to residential locations, schools, and many companies which makes vehicle traffic especially during rush hour more congested by the activities on the side of the road such as slow vehicle, the ups and downs of passengers, so vehicles that stop causing long vehicle queues. From the results of the analysis, the results of signalized intersection can be obtained on the Diponegoro Highway Setia Mekar Street Bekasi Regency. It is known that the greatest Degree of Saturation is in the Northen approach which is 1,12 with a average intersection delay is 99,21 seconds/smp. Furthermore, Alternative solutions is carried out by changing side obstacles from 0,94 to 0,95 and recycling time intersection, resulting in a decrease in the average intersection delay and improvement of indoporlen intersection services
