Poetry is a unique way to express someone‟s feelings. Sometimes the poetry is the author‟s experience. In writing this research the writer uses two methods, namely method of collecting data and method of approach. The method of collecting data which the writer used is the library research method, in which various sources are collected and also used to support his discussion. In approaching the poetry, the writer uses the objective or the structural approach method and feminism approach method to get deeper understanding of the poem. There are some objectives which the writer wants to achieve in conducting this research. Some of the objectives are to get deeper understaanding on feminism found in N. Josefowitz‟ poem Impressions from an Office, to find out the effects of people social condition and the effects of feminism movement which is growing in America, and to find out the implicit meanings of N. Josefowitz‟ poem mentioned above. Feminism in one hand is a kind of social movement that aims at gender equal relationship. On the other hand, it is a kind of literary approach. The principle of feminism as literary approach is based on how literary work reflects gender aspects. A poetry written by N. Josefowitz as a kind of literature will be used in this paper as an object of study. By analyzing that poetry, we will understand how feminism as a social movement affects literary approach. The existence of comics cannot be underestimated because in addition to trying to show sociological and physiological conditions, comics also record psychological symptomsrevealed through the dynamics of the personality of the characters contained in the story. The personality dynamics seen through the behavior of these figures help to reveal the meaning of the story as a whole.Psychologists have categorized defense mechanisms based upon how primitive they are. The more primitive a defense mechanism, the less effective it works for a person over the longterm. However, more primitive defense mechanisms are usually very effective short-term, and hence are favored by many people and children especially (when such primitive defense mechanisms are first learned). Adults who don’t learn better ways of coping with stress or traumatic events in their lives will often resort to such primitive defense mechanisms as well.The writer uses two methods of data collection to do this research about “The Anxious Effect of Character’s Switching Body in Webtoons Comic Lookism”. They are library research anddescryptive analysis. the anxiety that Daniel Park exhibits is the neurotic anxiety, which appears continuously for fear of danger that seems to be threatening. Poetry can be used as a mean to tell what someone feel or thought. It is occasionally the experience of the author. The writer uses two methods in conducting this study, they are data collection and approach methods. The writer uses the library research method for the data collection method to collect the data needed to support the discussion. The objective or the structural approach method and feminism approach method are used to comprehend and to obtain deeper understanding of the poem. The writer wants to achieve some objectives in conducting this study. Some of the objectives are to get deeper understaanding on feminism found in N. Josefowitz’ poetry Impressions from an Office, to find out the impacts of social condition and the feminism movement effects growing in America on the people, and to find out the implicit meanings of N. Josefowitz’ poetry above. Feminism is a kind of social movement which aims to get gender equality for male and female. Besides that, it is also a literary approach. The feminism principle as literary approach is based on how literary work reflects gender aspects. A poetry written by N. Josefowitz as a kind of literature will be used in this paper as an object of study. The Age of Innocence is a novel which tells us about the social condition of the American society at the end of the 19th century. This thesis deals with the American Society’s norms at the end of the 19th century reflected in Edith Wharton’s novel The Age of Innocence. Sometimes the author would like to tell us what really happen in our surrounding through his novel. As a social creature we have to pay attention to our environment. Therefore the main aim of this thesis is to reveal the influence of American society’s norms at the end of the 19th century toward the main characters in Edith Wharton’s novel The Age of Innocence. In writing this thesis, the writer uses the library research method, by which various sources are collected and also used to support the analysis. In approaching the novel, the writer uses the objective and the expressive methods to obtain a deep understanding of the American society’s behavior at the end of the 19th century. The results of the study indicate that the American society at the end of the 19th century still keep their high value. They consider the family honor and respectability above everything. The individual who deviates will obtain punishment that is appropriate with their custom and tradition. However they have to face the fact that the world is changing. One of the successes in high school student learning lies in the use of learning method or model. The development of technology has given great influence on the world of today’s education. Learning media that are independent and technology-based become an attraction for students to improve learning motivation and to educate students to be able to learn independently. This study aims to develop the interactive learning media through webtoon applications as an effort to shape the character of high school students through literacy culture. This research also aims to foster high school students' interest in reading through smart phone technology. The subjects of this study were high school students. The research method used is the method of triangulation which includes data triangulation, triangulation between researchers and theory triangulation. Data collection techniques used in this studywere interviews, observation and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results of this study are scientific publications and products in the form of interactive learning media in an effort to strengthen the character of high school students. The industrial revolution is a fusion of automation technology with cyber. The current trend in the industrial world is starting to touch the virtual world with several systems such as cyber physical systems, internet of things (IoT), cloud computing, and cognitive computing. Revolution 4.0 implements intelligent technology that can be connected to various lines of life, including students’ needs. They must be active to form their entrepreneurial leadership to face these challenges. Absolutely, this must be supported by encouragement, collaboration and integration of learning in the field of entrepreneurship. The purposes of this research are to describe the steps of implementing the Miss Maya, to find and describe the advantages of Miss Maya in building a concrete entrepreneurial leadership, and to determine the effectiveness of Miss Maya in English learning. The method used is mix method; qualitative and quantitative research design. Primary data include references/ literature/ journals/ books related to the discussion. Secondary data include documentation and field data of the implementation obtained through observation and interviews. The results of this research are the implementation of Miss Maya can be done through the preparation, implementation and assessment. Through t-test analysis which showed that sig. (2-tailed) of all = 0.000 and the probability less than 0.05, Miss Maya is an effective strategy to be used in English learning. Miss Maya is a futuristic imaginative integrative English learning method with six main elements of doing business which is expected to be able to foster the students’ entrepreneurial leadership to face the industrial revolution 4.0.

Webtoon is a type of comic currently in demand by young people (students). If it is used properly, webtoon can be used as one of the teaching media in learning English. In addition to improve English competence, the efforts to foster literacy culture in students are grown here. With the development of android-based mobile phones that are easy to use by students, researchers combine android-based application with webtoon learning media to improve students' English competence and literacy. The problem in this research is how to increase reading interest in high school students through android-based interactive learning media during the pandemic. This study aims to develop android-based interactive learning media through webtoon application as an effort to improve the English language skills of high school students through literacy culture during the pandemic. This study also aims to foster reading interest in high school students through smartphone technology. The subjects of this study were high school students. The research method used is triangulation method which includes data triangulation, inter-researcher triangulation and theoretical triangulation. The data collection techniques used were interview, observation and documentation which were analyzed with descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that the respondents' English skills and reading interest increased with the use of the webtoon application. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of android-based webtoon application makes students not only learn the existing material, but can also increase their reading interest.

English is an international language that needs to be mastered by people who want to connect with other people from all over the world. Studying at a school or course institution is not enough to facilitate someone in speaking English quickly. There must be direct communication that is done to improve speaking skills. One of the international organizations that gives a person free space to use English is IMUN (International Model United Nations). IMUN is a simulation forum for the UN session that aims to mobilize young people from all over the world to express their opinions on international issues, which ultimately seeks to find a solution to a series of existing problems. This study's objective is to investigate English use in IMUN. The researchers use the descriptive qualitative method with the participation method as the primary data, and the screen captures of video or photo method to obtain additional data. One of the author's direct involvements in the Internship at IMUN (Campus Ambassador) and the simulation of the UN session (Online Conference) reinforce the fact that IMUN is truly an international organization that can be used as a forum to improve English language skills. With those experiences, the participants can improve their English skills quickly.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi webtoon guna meningkatkan kemampuaan bahasa Inggris para pelajar sekolah menengah umum di masa pandemi melalui budaya literasi. Selain itu penelitian ini juga bertujuan memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi ponsel guna meningkatkan literasi para pelajar sekolah menengah umum. Penelitian ini menggunakan para pelajar Sekolah Menengah Umum sebagai subjek penelitian. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode triangulasi yang meliputi triangulasi data, triangulasi antar peneliti dan triangulasi teori. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan teknik analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan bahasa Inggris dan minat membaca para responden meningkat dengan penggunaan aplikasi webtoon. Disamping itu penggunaan aplikasi webtoon berbasis android menjadikan siswa tidak hanya mempelajari materi yang ada, tetapi juga dapat meningkatkan minat baca mereka.
