Abstract

AbstractThe reality in the field is that there are still many principals who do not carry out their duties and functions as educational leaders because in the process of appointment there is no transfer, the low mentality of the principal is marked by a lack of motivation and enthusiasm and lack of discipline in carrying out tasks and often arrives late and many factors Another obstacle to improving the quality of education implies low work productivity of school principals which also has implications for quality (inputs, processes, and outputs), this is inversely proportional to example. Therefore, to find out how to improve the quality of the principal's competence, more in-depth research is needed regarding the Professional Development of Educational Leadership. From this phenomenon, several research problems were formulated to find answers to the nature of the professional development of educational leadership at SMKN 1 Buahdua, how is the basis of religion, philosophy, psychology, and sociology for the development of professional leadership in education at SMKN 1 Buahdua. The methodology used in writing this paper is descriptive qualitative method with Library Research and field research approaches. Field research was carried out using interviews with the leadership and other parties related to visits to several locations in the school environment. The results of the study, the Religious Foundations of Professional Development of Educational Leadership at SMKN 1 Buahdua lead to Q.S Ali-Imron: 159 about deliberation and monotheism of the principal and noble character; wise and prudent; democratic; honest; sportsmanship; sincere in carrying out their duties with indicators always praying for their students. In terms of self-potential, Q.S Al-Isro: 70 emphasizes increasing self-potential at SMKN 1 Buahdua, especially the principal. The foundation of the Philosophy of Professional Development of Educational Leadership at SMKN 1 Buahdua leads to a Progressivism Philosophy which is always the principal continuously updates himself with various self-development efforts by continuing to hone experience so that the role of the principal at SMKN 1 Buahdua increases. The foundation of Psychology of Professional Development of Educational Leadership at SMKN 1 Buahdua leads to Developmental Psychology where the Principal as the leader of Education there continues to develop himself with various efforts, such as attending seminars. The Sociological Foundation of Professional Development of Educational Leadership at SMKN 1 Buahdua leads to an intergalactic understanding because indeed to develop professional education leaders, the principal always makes efforts to improve professionalism in leading schools by participating in various types of training in various seminar activities.Keywords: Professional Development; Educational Leadership; Religion; Philosophy; Psychology; Sociology.

Abstract

The decision-making taken by the school leadership must be participatory, meaning that all components of the school community must be involved in the decision-making process carried out by the leader, but if you look at the various phenomena that appear in the field, it turns out that there are still many principals in making decisions centrally. With the existence of centralized decision-making, the execution of the results of the decision could not go well because the school community felt that they were not involved in the decision-making. To obtain good decision results and can be implemented by those with good interests, of course, there needs to be a more in-depth study of how to make participatory decisions by exploring knowledge about authority, power, and leadership influence. The three scientific study activities focused on the basic education level by taking a case study at SDN 198 Mekarjaya, Bandung. From the scientific study of the three components, several research problems were formulated to seek answers about the relationship between authority, power, and leadership influence. Education-based on religious, philosophical, psychological, and sociological reviews. The research method uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study in one of the basic education institutions at SDN 198 Mekarjaya, Bandung City. The results of the research on the authority, power, and influence of leadership at SDN 198 Mekarjaya based on a religious review show that the education leadership, in this case, the principal, always acts on a religious basis. Judging from the philosophical basis that the principle always applies the values ​​of ethical idealism in each of his main tasks. Judging from the psychological basis, the principal in making decisions or policies is very careful and always considers input from various parties. Judging from the social basis, the principal in carrying out school management is quite mastered. Recommendations from the results of the study, that the principal of both kindergarten, elementary, high school / vocational school, is better in carrying out educational leadership in schools always positioning himself as a democratic leader and manager, prioritizing deliberation, and being able to make participatory decisions so that school residents feel involved directly so that an attitude arises to carry out the decision voluntarily. Forced decisions are usually not good. Principals in using authority, power, and influence in schools should apply wisely so that educational goals can be achieved properly without any negative excesses.

Abstract

This study presents the topic "Morale Group (Moral Group) Based on Religion, Philosophy, Sociology and Psychology at the Daarul Ihsan Islamic Boarding School, Cimahi City". This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Retrieval of data sources in this study using purposive sampling. While the data collection using research techniques with interviews, observation, literature study and documentation. The conclusion of this study is that the Morale Group (Moral Group) is very important and vital in the management of the Daarul Ihsan Islamic Boarding School in Cimahi City because in essence morals really determine the quality of a human's personality. Individual morals in groups who have al-karimah or ethical character are very vital in life in the Daarul Ihsan Islamic boarding school institution where the role of the Islamic boarding school leader will play an important role in creating students who are knowledgeable, faithful, devoted, have a noble personality, have character and are independent. In the boarding school, the leader of the pesantren will be used as a role model or role model for his students, for that the leadership of the pesantren must motivate his students more and set an example so that students can be more active in studying, worshiping and doing charity so that they will be more successful in the future. In the era of globalization which is full of challenges and the rapid development of the digitalization world which emphasizes the elements of information technology, it has become a demand for the moral quality of a santri in addition to having extensive knowledge or knowledge, he must also have the firmness of faith, morality and morals which are expected to be higher purely cognitive aspect.
