Abstract

Jaranan Buto is one of the arts that live in Banyuwangi in addition to other arts. As a performing art, in every presentation Jaranan Buto uses accompanying music. At the beginning of its creation, the musical accompaniment of Jaranan Buto consisted of several instruments and pieces. Over time, the musical accompaniment of Jaranan Buto has experienced developments so as to form a structure for presenting the musical accompaniment of Jaranan Buto which is now commonly used. This study discusses the structure of the musical accompaniment of Jaranan Buto and its various imitations. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach by interviewing Setro Asnawi (80 years) as the creator of Jaranan Buto and Mariyono (55 years) as the second generation of Jaranan Buto Sekar Diyu dancers who were still active until this research was written. Analysis of research data starts from domain analysis, observation focused on the accompaniment of Jaranan Buto from the beginning of the stage, trance to exiting the stage, taxonomic analysis, selected observations to the final stage, namely component analysis. From these results it can be concluded that the elements of musical imitation in the accompaniment of Jaranan Buto consist of imitation of musical instruments and imitation of pieces performed from other arts.

Abstract

Banyuwangi is a district located on the eastern tip of Java Island which has a unique cultural diversity. This is reflected in the diverse arts. One of the arts in Banyuwangi is macapat which is called Mocoan. The most popular Mocoan performed by the Osing tribal community is the Mocoan Lontar Yusup where the literary work read tells the story of the prophet Yusuf. This art material, which is the focus of research, is studied and analyzed and its relevance is sought for the culture of the people who hold this culture.This study uses a qualitative approach and the data are presented descriptively. Using logical analogies, analyzed based on interactive techniques and based on arguments. Based on the data obtained, it was found that there is a special approach to the expression of the Banyuwangi macapat art, namely in text and song melodies. The special approach is that there are special terminology, meter rules and mining rules. The three data are relevant to the culture of the foreign community, namely exclusive, open, and bound.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang dampak pemberlakuan PPKM-Darurat terhadap pendapatan penjual sayur keliling (mlijo) di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak yang ditimbulkan akibat adanya pemberlakuan PPKM-Darurat terhadap keadaan ekonomi di suatu masyarakat desa terutama penjual sayur keliling (mlijo) di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara kepada 48 penjual sayur keliling (mlijo) di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis dan menggunakan metode campuran kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan sajian data berupa deskriptif dan statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dampak yang ditimbulkan dari adanya pemberlakuan PPKM-Darurat ini adalah meningkatkan pendapatan tukang sayur keliling (mlijo) dikarenakan masyarakat memilih berdiam diri di rumah.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the level of satisfaction of class The method used is Service Quality. The results of the student satisfaction evaluation show aspects that need to be maintained and improved in the competence of PPG Pre-Service Arts and Culture students. The implications of this research are the need to maintain the quality of pre-service PPG student selection, improve the quality of courses and teaching lecturers that are integrated with PPL activities, provide adequate preparation time for students, as well as the importance of high awareness and motivation from students to increase their competence as prospective teachers. Thus, this research contributes to improving the quality of arts and culture education through evaluating student satisfaction as an indicator of teacher competence.
