Abstract

Integrate gender base violence awareness into functional literacy learning program is aimed to develop modul about functional literacy contained gender base violence, conduct field study and applied modul of function literacy for Papuan women and men. This program is targeted community in Bogor sub district that consist og two neigboorhood groups, Bogor and Irmajaya. Most of the participant are farmers who lack of education. They commonly originated from Arfak and Biak. Learning method that used in this program is group-based approach, stakeholders’ incorporation in the program, role plays and colored picture and participatory approach. The result that will achieved from this program are integrated gender base violence in functional literacy modul that cultural appropriate. Four agents of change as pioner gender base violence awareness.

Abstract

Culinary is a potential creative economic sector in Fakfak in enhancing slow economic growth. In comparison to other creative economic sector, creative economic mapping in Fakfak indicated that culinary has highest scores. SWOT analysis that was applied to assess criterias of indicators from three dimentions which are sectors, process and actors indicated that human resources is the main strength but also weaknesses in culinary as well as raw material as resources that naturally provided. National Government policy regarding creative economic is strength in develops creatice economic in Fakfak. Yet, sustainability of culinary as potential creative economic sector depends on sustainability of natural resources and agriculture product. Threfore, increasing production process while improving the use of technology and infrastructure in creation is needed. This followed by market expansion.

Abstract

Creative economic is a sustainable development strategy in addressing slow economic growth that occurred in Indonesia as well as in Fakfak, a natural resources richest region. Economic structure alteration from agriculture as primary sector to industry and information sectors indicated the need of innovation and creativity as a new source of sustainable economic growth. Creative economic can be a solution to impove regional economic in Fakfak which have slow economic growth, and high number of unemployement. Result of Hirarchy Process Analysis (HPA) shows that culinary is a potential creative economic sector apart from craft and tourism. This is caused by highest scores that achieved from several supported elements in culinary sector such as human resources, natural resources, cost, market access, technology and infrastructure and institutions. The HPA result also indicated that local government through its economic policies has played important role in supporting kuliner sector as well as economic development program of BP Tangguh, bank and universities or academics. Therefore, increase production and product diversification of local resources based culinary is still needed.
