Abstract

Informasi tentang virus corona wajib diketahui oleh semua kalangan khususnya ibu hamil dan ibu menyusui karena sedang mempersiapan lahirnya penerus bangsa. Perlu dipahami, diantisipasi dan dicarikan solusi jika terpapar virus tersebut. Maka perlu dilakukan penyampaian informasi secara menyeluruh kepada sasaran. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dengan memberikan pengetahuan terkait virus corona yang berhubungan dengan kehamilan dan masa menyusui secara door to door ke 27 responden. Dimulai dari kontrak waktu lewat WA, ketika bertemu dilakukan cek suhu badan, mengisi lembar kuesioner, pmeberian informasi seputar virus covid-19, memberikan masker, handsanitazer, vitamin, mengisi kueisoner ulang dan tanya jawab. Semua responden antusias terlihat pada saat sesi tanya jawab. Dari hasil pengelompokan usia didapatkan usia 26-35 tahun mendominasi kegiatan ini sebanyak 19 orang (70%) dan peningkatan pengetahuan setelah diberikan konseling sebanyak 18 orang (67%). Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang virus covid-19 sehingga pentingnya tindak lanjut kegiatan agar kegiatan tersebut dapat dilaksanakan kembali di waktu yang akan datang dengan peserta ibu hamil dan ibu menyusui yang berbeda sehingga terjadi interaksi dan pertukaran pengalaman antar para ibu hamil dengan tenaga Kesehatan.

Abstract

The lactation process can be problematic due to various factors. These factors can come from the mother, baby, management of breastfeeding and other factors. Factors from the mother can be caused by problems with the anatomy of the mother's breasts and nipples, conditions or diseases suffered by the mother. The failure of the lactation management process can also be caused by the mother's lack of exposure to information on how to breastfeed properly. This research is a quasi-experimental research. It took place from September to February 2022. This study involved 34 breastfeeding mothers and one of the active families, usually as decision makers in that family. This study uses a questionnaire. After that, the intervention of lactation massage and endoprin was given. This study used total sampling and using the McNemar TEST the results were 0.016 < 0.05, so it can be said that there were differences in lactation problems between before and after the intervention. The results of his research, the majority of family representatives strongly agree that they play a role in the success of breastfeeding mothers. In addition, they also need a face-to-face discussion group with health workers about breastfeeding. In carrying out its role as a mother, there are also two main obstacles faced by families in helping breastfeeding mothers, namely less breast milk and mothers who are shy about lactation massage and endhoprin. It is hoped that there will be further research related to how big the survey of the target community for lactation massage and endoprine

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is the gold standard for infant feeding in the first six months. In Indonesia, breastfeeding has become a social norm among women. There are many factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding. One of the ways to facilitate the release of breast milk is by lactation massage therapy and endhoprin. This massage education activity was appointed as a community service activity. The purpose of this activity was to provide information to nursing mothers as references to massage methods to promote breast milk. It was recommended for breastfeeding mothers and to be carried out in September 2021. The implementation method was door to door due to the pandemic situation with complete self-protection. The result was 68% of all breastfeeding mothers can demonstrate well therefore that it can be concluded that this community service activity is running smoothly.   ABSTRAK Pemberian  ASI  eksklusif  merupakan  standar  emas  pemberian  makanan  bayi  pada  enam  bulan  pertama.  Di  Indonesia,  praktik  menyusui  sudah  menjadi  norma  sosial  di  kalangan  perempuan. Banyak faktor yang memengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif salah satu cara untuk memperlancar pengeluaran ASI dengan terapi pijat laktasi dan endhoprin. Kegiatan edukasi pijat inilah yang diangkat menjadi suatu kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk memberikan informasi kepada ibu menyusui referensi metode pijat untuk melancarkan ASI. Sarannya para ibu menyusui dan dilaksanakan di bulan September 2021. Metode pelaksanaan dengan door to door karena situasi pandemi dengan perlindungan diri lengkap. Hasilnya  68% dari seluruh ibu menyusui dapat melakukan demonstrasi dengan baik sehingga dapat disimpulkan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berjalan lancar.
