Abstract

BASIC STUDENT LEADERSHIP TRAINING AS A MEANS TO DEVELOP HONEST, CONFIDENCE, RESPONSIBILITY, DISCIPLINE, AND CREATIVE STUDENT LEADERSHIP TALENTS. The purpose of basic student leadership training as a means of developing honest, confident, responsible, disciplined, and creative student leadership talents is to provide additional skills on leadership, public speaking, personality, and entrepreneurship for students who are administrators of the Intra School Student Organization. (OSIS) SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Semarang. This dedication shows that there are 2% of students in the Intra School Student Organization (OSIS) SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Semarang who still do not have a complete understanding of leadership, but 91.3% of the students of the Intra School Student Organization (OSIS) SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Semarang able to explain about leadership. Their public speaking ability is at 65.2%. Their personality knowledge is 73.9% and 56.5% understanding and simulating entrepreneurship. The ability of the leadership of the Intra School Student Organization (OSIS) SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Semarang is higher than other material indicators. Because testing other materials uses practices such as public speaking and entrepreneurship simulations.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh terhadap profesionalisme, kualitas sumber daya manusia, dan interpersonal communication terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui komitmen organisasional. Studi ini dilakukan di Bappeda Kota Semarang, dengan menggunakan survei melalui kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai di Bappeda Kota Semarang dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan diperoleh 66 sampel responden. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi jalur path, dengan alat statistik SPSS versi 24. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa temuan: (1) profesionalisme berdampak pada komitmen organisasional yang akan meningkatkan kinerja pegawai; (2) interpersonal communication berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap kinerja pegawai; (3) interpersonal communication meningkatkan komitmen organisasional yang berdampak pada kinerja pegawai; (4) profesionalisme tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan (5) kualitas sumberdaya manusia tidak berpengaruh baik terhadap komitmen organisasional maupun kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

Purpose – The empirical studies regarding the effect of cyberloafing behavior on employee performance have been widely studied. However, the results of the studies still show inconclusive results. Based on this research gap, this study was conducted to re-examine the influence of role stressors and work stress in explaining cyberloafing behavior that impacts employee performance.  Methodology – The test was carried out to examine the empirical model and research hypothesis using the Structural Equation Modeling approach. Employees who work in various industries whose companies are located in the city of Semarang are the respondents of this research collected using a questionnaire consisting of statements developed from variable measurement indicators using closed answers with alternative answers provided on a scale of 1-10. Findings – The test results show that the role stressor has a significant positive effect on work stress. The test results also show that role stressors has proven to have a significant positive effect on cyberloafing behavior, while work stress cannot prove its effect. The research also proves that cyberloafing behavior has a real effect in explaining employee performance. Originality – This research studies the empirical effect of cyberloafing behavior which has not been done by previous research.
