Research on working readiness is not a new thing. Nevertheless, studies related to working readiness still become interesting topic considering the empirical phenomena that indicate low working readiness. In addition, the results of previous studies have not provided conclusive conclusions about the factors that explain working readiness. This study was conducted to test the working readiness model developed in this study empirically by using the variable approach of training, apprenticeship, self-efficacy, and locus of control. Data on training, apprenticeship, self-efficacy, locus of control, and working readiness were obtained through interviews using a questionnaire conducted to the final semester students of the Islamic Economics and Business Faculty of UIN Walisongo Semarang. The research model testing was done by using SEM as an approach to the analysis technique. The test results show that training and apprenticeship are proven capable of explaining self-efficacy and locus of control. The results of this study also show that training, apprenticeship, self-efficacy, and locus of control are appropriate variables to explain variations in working readiness.

The low level of public knowledge about fish processing causes fish to have less high economic value and less use as an alternative source of protein other than meat, significantly as an alternative solution to strengthen family income. Especially for milkfish, which has many thorns, causing people to be reluctant to consume and make processed milkfish a product of business choice. This phenomenon has led this service activity to introduce another alternative processing, namely thorn-pulled milkfish. Besides being comfortable, the tools used are relatively easy to get, and the price is not high. The processing of thorny milkfish can also be used as an alternative to increasing the economic value of milkfish, contributing to an increase in family income when engaged as a business route. The implementation of this thorn milkfish business management training activity showed that the participants had high enthusiasm. This was shown by the activity that the participants could independently remove or separate the milkfish from their spines. There is a growing desire to utilize thorns pulled milkfish as a source of family protein. Besides, the analysis of the thorn-pulled milkfish processing business also shows a potential opportunity as an alternative business in the context of strengthening the family economy.

The development of technology, globalization, and gender equality, has led women to enter various fields of work that were previously identical to those carried out by men, including entrepreneurs. However, the differences in the characteristics of men and women have implications for the way men and women entrepreneurs run their businesses. Based on these assumptions, this study was conducted to determine whether or not there are differences in business communication run by male and female entrepreneurs in managing their businesses. The research was conducted on male and female entrepreneurs or business owners in the city of Semarang. The results of the study indicate that there are differences in business communication run by male and female entrepreneurs. Where women have business communications that contain more complete messages, use short words and sentences that are carefully selected, delivered clearly, politely, and with full accuracy to the audience (consumers or business partners).

Business performance ranging from the number of turnovers that do not grow, the number of customers that are not growing, profits that do not increase and sales that remain are classic problems faced by small and micro businesses, including the Youth Entrepreneurial Group (KWP) assisted by the Central Java Province Dinpora. This condition is caused by the limited capabilities of human resource competencies, the capabilities of financial factors and operational factors. This phenomenon is the basis for this study to conduct a study of the factors of strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat to then identify the variables that explain KWP's marketing performance. The research was conducted on business owners who are Youth Entrepreneurs Group (KWP) assisted by the Central Java Province Dinpora. Henceforth, the field data was analyzed using several qualitative approaches which were carried out with SWOT and AHP analysis as well as a quantitative approach to obtain a more complete insight. The results of the analysis show that external factors such as the role of government, the business environment and access to information contribute to building the internal strength of business groups which include financial factors, management factors and operational factors.

The study of job readiness has been widely researched but is still an interesting topic given the empirical phenomenon which indicates the low level of work readiness. In addition, the findings from the studies that have been conducted on explanatory variables of work readiness are also not conclusive. Departing from this phenomenon, the study again developed a research model that "mated" the empirical and theoretical aspects that could explain the variable work readiness. Empirical testing on the work readiness research model was conducted on vocational education graduates in Semarang who became the object of research. To the object of the study, interviews were conducted using questionnaires to be further analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as an analytical technique approach. Empirical testing results in the research model and the influence of research variables indicate that the research model is the right model to describe the estimated population. The results of testing the influence between variables indicate that graduate competencies are built through training and industrial work practices, the competencies that are built will create locus of control and self efficacy which ultimately strengthens vocational education graduates' job readiness in Semarang.

AbstractPurpose - This study aims to examine the effect of supervision and leadership on work discipline and to determine whether or not there are differences in work discipline among male and female workers in Islamic banking institutions in Semarang City.Method - The data collection needed was done through interviews using questionnaires and analysed using a regression test approach to test the effect between variables and a comparative test to examine differences in work discipline behaviour based on gender.Result - The results of the tests carried out in this study indicate that employee work discipline can be explained by supervision and leadership. This study also shows that there are no differences in work discipline for male and female employees who work in Islamic banking institutions in Semarang City.Implication - There is no difference in work discipline for male and female employees, so to improve work discipline, it is done by increasing supervision and leadership that applies fairly and equitably to male and female employees.Originality- Variables developed to explain work discipline behavior based on the results of previous research and have relevance to empirical phenomena. This study was also conducted a comparative study of work discipline behavior based on gender which had never been done in previous research.

Minat beli sebuah produk dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, di antaranya yaitu produk, harga, dan promosi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh produk, harga, dan promosi terhadap minat beli iPhone pada mahasiswa UPGRIS Semarang. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa UPGRIS Semarang dengan jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah sebanyak 100 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Pengujian hipotesis dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk, harga, dan promosi terhadap minat beli iPhone mahasiswa UPGRIS Semarang.Kata kunci: produk, harga, promosi, minat beli, iPhone.

The activities of reading news, chatting, viewing YouTube and Facebook or even status updates, Instagram, buying and selling online, to playing online games that are not related to work by using internet facilities are cyberloafing behaviors that are often carried out by employees. The limitations of previous research examining the impact of cyberloafing on work behavior empirically are still very limited. In addition, previous research that explains the occurrence of cyberloafing behavior also shows results that have not been established. Encouraged by these findings, this study aimed to examine the factors that explain cyberloafing behavior and its impact on employees' organizational behavior. To meet these objectives, an empirical model was developed with job characteristics and self-control variables as exogenous variables, job stress and cyberloafing as mediating variables and laziness as endogenous variables. Testing the influence between these variables was carried out with an analytical approach to Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which used empirical data obtained through questionnaires as an interview guide to employee respondents in various fields of work. The results of data analysis showed that job characteristics, self control, and job stress were statistically proven to have an effect on cyberloafing behavior. Cyberloafing testing on negative organizational behavior, namely laziness also shows a real influence. In addition, the results of this study also show that there are differences in prevalence caused by cyberloafing behavior between male and female employees.

Executive coaching that considers leadership types has the potential to change behavior that can improve individual and organizational performance. This is what prompted a study to determine the effectiveness of giving executive coaching on the types of transformational and transactional leadership.The design of the study designed in this study is mixed-factorial design 2x2 between-within subject. The first factor is executive coaching which consists of two levels, namely executive coaching and no executive coaching and the second factor is the type of leadership which consists of two levels, namely transformational and transactional on proactive influence tactics rational persuasion, inspirational appeals, consultation, collaboration. The data measured or observed in this study is the sales performance of the experimental participants consisting of sales heads and key account heads in automotive multinational companies.The findings of this study indicate that this type of transformational leadership with executive coaching has proven to be more effective in improving sales head and key account head sales performance. Furthermore, this study also shows that in the type of transformational leadership, the proactive collaboration and consultation influence tactics proved to be more effective while the transactional leadership type will be more effective in proactive rational and inspirational tactics.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan e-kinerja, tambahan penghasilan pegawai (TPP), dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja ASN pada Dinas Perindustrian, Perdagangan, Koperasi, dan UKM Kabupaten Rembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ASN di Dinas Perindustrian, Perdagangan, Koperasi, dan UKM Kabupaten Rembang yang berjumlah 116 orang dengan sampel jenuh sebanyak 116 responden. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dengan instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik analisis linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial dan simultan E-kinerja, Tambahan Penghasilan Pegawai (TPP), dan Disiplin kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja ASN di Dinas Perindustrian, Perdagangan, Koperasi, dan UKM Kabupaten Rembang.
