Abstract

The development of visual communication media at this time helps in supporting information and communication. However, often the visual communication media presented are less effective and efficient. With 3D animation media, 3D animation media is considered effective enough to attract customer interest, because 3D animation is quite popular among all circles. The presentation of attractive and entertaining advertising media will encourage the wider community to shop. This is evidence that the design of a work of art is improving so that it can keep up with the rapid development of technology. UD. Boru Lubis (icha lubis shop) engaged in the trade of basic necessities is considered necessary to have an attractive promotional media and can be a medium of information, especially for consumers. It is hoped that this promotional media will be useful for UD. Boru Lubis especially for potential customers. Keywords: Promotional Media, 3D Animation, information.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Student Center Learning (SCL) method in increasing memory retention in slow learning children. The research media used was class action assessment. The aspects studied included the learning model given by the teacher and its implementation in learning and the learning outcomes of slow learners. This research was conducted at SMP MIBS Kebumen with a sample of 5 slow learner children and 23 normal children. This research method uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques were carried out by observing and testing through two PTK cycles. To analyze the data using observation sheets of student activities, giving ideas and suggestions, group discussions and expressing opinions. The results obtained from this study are very significant improvements in improving the memory of slow learning students. Based on these results it was concluded that the SCL learning model was applied to help improve slow learner student learning outcomes. Teachers and educators can utilize this strategy to meet the needs of slow learners and enhance their learning experience.

Abstract

Using Newman's Error Analysis (NEA) as a framework, this study will examine the many ways in which MAN 3 Medan students blunder while answering problems involving logarithms and exponentials. A total of thirty-one MIPA class X students served as subjects for this qualitative descriptive study. Essay tests, interviews with math instructors, and records of student work all contributed to the data set. Data analysis involves reducing, presenting, and making conclusions while triangulating sources to ensure the data is legitimate. According to the research, the two most common points of mistake are when people are trying to grasp the issue and when they are trying to convert it. This is because pupils have a hard time grasping the characteristics and fundamental ideas of logarithms and have a habit of rote memorization rather than critical thinking. Other factors that also affect include the lack of utilization of learning media and low student learning motivation. After being given discussion-based learning and interactive media, the post-test results showed an increase in comprehension and a decrease in conceptual errors. This research recommends that teachers should emphasize student-centered learning by strengthening basic concepts and implementing contextual problem-solving strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the types of student errors in solving problems on determining the size of angles in flat shapes. The subjects of the study were students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, State University of Medan, academic year 2024/2025. Data were obtained through written tests and interviews with 10 students. The results of the study showed that the errors often made by students included conceptual errors (42%), procedural errors (38%), and computational errors (20%). Conceptual errors are mainly related to understanding the relationship between angles in triangles and supplementary angles, procedural errors are related to unsystematic solution steps, while computational errors are errors in making calculations. This study provides recommendations to improve students' conceptual understanding of angles and their relationships in flat shapes.
