Abstract

Lime (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) is known to have seceral phytochemical contents (flavonoids and saponins) that can be memiliki berbagai aktivitas farmakologis yang bermanfaat. Salah satu aktivitas farmaokologis yang diberikan oleh flavonoid adalah sebagai antibacterial activity. The aims of this research was to determine the antibacterial activity of lime juice against Escherichia coli bacteria. This research used an experimental laboratory research method using antibacterial effectiveness trials against the growth of Escherichia coli bacteria. The research design for antibacterial effectiveness used the lime fruit extract method with 4 treatment groups, positive control and negative control. Antibacterial effectiveness was observed the inhibition zone diameter by disc diffusion method. Results of the Escherichia coli antibacterial effectiveness test obtained at a concentration of 100% had antibacterial activity with an average diameter of the inhibition zone 19.9 mm. The lowest concentration that still provides antibacterial resistance against Escherichia coli is at a concentration of 12.5% ​​with an average diameter of the inhibition zone of 17.9 mm. The results obtained indicated that the antibacterial effectiveness test on lime fruit extract is very strong. At a concentration of 100% it has the best antibacterial activity, the inhibition zone diameter similar with the inhibition zone of 500 mg tetracycline.

Abstract

Counseling about the benefits of drinking yogurt for the body is aimed at studying, developing and applying the science and technology that has been obtained or has been studied by students in lectures to the general public. To find out how to process milk properly so that it produces quality yogurt and is safe for consumption for the body, it is possible to realize the benefits of yogurt so that people are aware of the importance of yogurt for the body, and know how to store yogurt properly.Extension training is carried out using the Planning phase. The planning phase is carried out by forming a PKM Team and then preparing a proposal which will then be submitted. The preparation stage is in the form of making a cooperation agreement with residents in the Blue-Blue area. The socialization stage includes an introduction to the benefits and content contained in milk that can be processed into Yoghurt. good. The teaching stage is carried out by forming small groups of as many as groups consisting of members in each group from the community at Yapim Biru-biru Middle School and then a leader from the group is chosen as the person in charge. The teaching stage aims to provide a theoretical understanding of the target community so that the community is ready to carry out the practice of making quality yogurt. The evaluation stage is carried out to provide solutions to the problems faced by the community in the production process to marketing. This stage is measured through the application of yogurt by the community as well as the increase in community members who produce and cultivate milk as a raw material. The indicator of success at this stage is that solutions to these problems are obtained and become a reference for the future and also continue to develop and run this program. In addition, another indicator of success is the increase in average income in the Blue-Blue area.

Abstract

A condition characterized by a disturbance in the amount, quality or time of sleep in an individual is often referred to as insomnia. Sleep disturbances can interfere physically, emotionally, cognitively, and socially in adults. The magnitude of the possibility of academic, emotional, health, and behavioral problems in adults can be prevented or corrected, this fact shows significantly through intervention, through improving the quality and quantity of sleep by having the advantages of lemongrass aromatherapy which without causing side effects at all is able to overcome the reduction of insomnia. Citronella essential oil has been used for centuries to reduce rashes, inflammation, infection, pain and other health conditions. The method used through health education is aimed at achieving changes in the behavior of individuals, families and communities in fostering and maintaining health, playing an active role in optimizing health in accordance with healthy living physically, mentally and socially. Providing counseling with the method used is the lecture method by explaining and explaining an understanding, idea or message orally to the target group.
